Now sit back and relax while I surf over today's topic. So if you're like me and you're tired of winter because you live in the cold, well, I have a solution for you. Today, I'm sharing with you my ultimate guide on how to achieve the beach girl aesthetic. So I do associate myself as a beach girl because of my tastes, my style, and probably my hate for winter. But I just love this aesthetic because it keeps the summer vibe going all year long and is super easy to achieve. So in today's podcast, I will share some of my favorite products, my favorite beach influencer, and some statement pieces you need to add to your summer closet. So today's first category is the self-care slash skincare products, which are two sunscreens that I love that I selected for you. The first one is the Fenty Beauty HydraVisor sunscreen, which is Rihanna's brand that you can find at Sephora. It is an SPF 30 sunscreen, and it also smells like cherry, which I feel like is a good benefit because sometimes sunscreen smell can be triggering or annoying. It is also super light on the skin, which is really good for a hot day in the sun. The other sunscreen that I'm going to recommend you guys is the Sun Balm Sunscreen Face Stick. It looks like a mini glue stick, basically. It is available in SPF 30 and in SPF 50. It is super easy to carry and reapply, and it is also water-resistant for 80 minutes. Now I'm going to share with you the influencer that inspires me the most, that lives this aesthetic. It is none other than Ava Jules. If you don't know Ava Jules, she is a YouTuber and has been posting on YouTube for several years now. She lives in Hawaii and is, for me, the ultimate beach girl. So you can visit her Instagram for some inspirational beach girl, beach lifestyle pictures. It is at Ava Jules underscore. She also has a podcast, which is called On My Mind, where she shares stories, her stories and some followers' stories, which is really nice. And obviously her YouTube channel, where she posts vlogs and recommendations, and it's just nice to see her out in the sun at the beach with her friends. If you want other influencers or YouTubers you could follow that also matches this vibe, there's Anna Stoll, Lexi Hidalgo, and Anna Miloš. Finally, here are the statement pieces you absolutely need in your summer closet. So the first one comes with an alternative, but it is a long white skirt. Now if you're not a skirt person, that's okay. You can do linen pants. They're as light and comfortable as the skirt. So the skirt can be found at Hollister, at Garage, or even on Amazon. This is such a comfortable option, and it is also super great because as much as it is hot all day during summer, sometimes it gets colder at night, and you need something to cover your legs up, or even mosquito bites. You don't want those mosquito bites on your legs. Now, the last piece is obviously a good pair of sandals, and we know there are so many pairs of sandals that exist on this planet, so I narrowed it down to my three favorites. The first one is a platform sandal. I get mine from Lemon Jelly. It's a brand that makes different types of platform sandals, and they're super comfortable, affordable, and they have so many colors. Then if you're a little more down on the floor, you can have a good pair of Avellanos, which are regular flip-flops that come in different colors and styles, and they're super comfortable and once again, affordable. And finally, the most famous of all, the Birkenstocks. The Birkenstocks are a great option if you want something comfortable, colorful, but it also comes in more classic styles, like the ones that are made in cork and not necessarily the ones made in plastic. This was my guide on how to become the ultimate beach girl, featuring my favorite products, which were two sunscreens, my favorite influencer, Ava Jewel, and some pieces, like a long flowy skirt and some sandals for your summer closet. For some more inspiration on this aesthetic, you can visit my Pinterest at victo underscore grondin, where I save beachy outfits and spells and pictures that remind me of this lifestyle. Once again, I'm your host and beach girl, Victoria. Thank you for listening to today's podcast.
