Now, let's get our input from the students. Beside me is a guy named Ton-Ton. Also known as the eldest of our school. What's up, Ton-Ton? I'm the eldest of the school and it's really good being here because it's really awesome. Yeah, see? He's very genuine here. Okay, Ton-Ton, what are your achievements in this school year? Um, I got fifth in the spelling bee. It was really cool. Okay, what were your favorite moments this year? Probably the Christmas show and the speech master. Your worst moment? Um, the exam week. It was really stressful and I got decent results. I don't know. Okay, thoughts on this whole school year? It was okay. It went by really fast. Right? Okay, thoughts on this podcast? It's really awesome. It answers everything it comes to. Like, when I pray, I also ask the God to help this podcast. Okay, thank you for your input, Ton-Ton. Um, I guess I'll see you later. Yeah, I put this podcast in my daughter's right ear, so I hope this podcast succeeds. Yeah. Okay. That was actually really good. Now it's time for the short Pompeii. Hi, Pompeii. Hi, Hayley. What are your best achievements so far this school year? Well, you already asked me that, but my best achievements would probably be, um, like, participating in the house events, such as, um, sport events and, like, house quizzes and maybe getting, like, about, like, 70 house points. I think that's really cool. What are your worst moments in this school year? My worst moments have to be getting 14 out of 30 in the Literature and Numerology exam. It is way too hard for anyone to actually get 30 out of 30. It is not really that fair, I think, hopefully. What was your favorite moment throughout this school year? My favorite moment would be, um, being able to present in a Christmas concert, which is really cool because I get to present in front of a lot of parents and I feel like it was really fun. So, yeah. Um, what do you think about our podcast? I think you're way too, um, soft and I think you're way too nervous and I think as an English speaker, you should not be that nervous. Crap. Well... So, right now, I'm with Year 8 Punggye. Hello, Punggye. Hello, I'm Sini. Let's start our interview off with, what is your biggest achievement this year? I think my biggest achievement this year would be competing in the, um, sport events and going to Phuket for football. That's actually pretty cool. Uh, what about your best moment this year? My best moment probably would be, uh, competing in the basketball tournament and actually getting MVP. That's so amazing! Okay, what about your worst moment? Uh, almost failing an exam in French. I lost 16 out of 30. Okay, that's pretty bad. Um, what about your thoughts on this whole year? This year was normal. I think my feelings would be neutral for this year. Nothing too special, nothing too bad. I can agree with that. Um, what about, what is your thoughts on this podcast? It's amazing! I know, right? Well, now we have another, another double T. Our favorite double T, Blunton! Hello. So, how would you say is your biggest achievement throughout this year? Um, I think my biggest achievement would be getting selected for BIS PE Soccer 7s and going to Phuket with my friends. And what is your worst moment of this year? My worst moment would be falling down in the auditorium in front of everyone. I think only the year 7 and 8 is always those. Only year 11. Oh. Uh, what would you say is your best moment? My best moment? I don't have a best moment. You must have one! I don't have a best moment. Oh. Uh, thoughts on this year? Horrible. Thoughts on us? On the podcast? Amazing! This podcast is the best podcast I've ever, um, seen, heard. Wow. See? You heard it from her. It's the best podcast out there. So, right now, I'm here with... Daphne. Okay, Daphne, to start our interview off, what is the biggest achievement you've made or done this year? It's probably in the EOI exam and ICT. I got, um, almost full marks in both the practical and theoretical exam. Wow, that's amazing. Um, what is your best moment this year? It's probably when I, uh, got to join the U19 basketball team. I got the experience I wanted and needed for next year. What about U14? U14 was a fun time. Um, it was my last year with everyone on the team, and I think it was a really fun experience, although we didn't win. So, you might miss it? I will miss it. I'm gonna miss, um, everyone on the team. Okay, what about your worst moment? Uh, it's probably geography. Um, EOI, I got a really bad score. Um, I see. That's really bad. Anyways, what is your thought on this whole year? I think this whole year was really fun. I got to meet new people, and, like, new students who are coming up from year 7 this year. So, I got a lot of new friends. Um, what is your thought on our podcast? I think this podcast will be informational, because it will reflect on what the students think about this school year. Okay, thank you so much. Hi, Trishini. Hello. So, today I'm going to be asking some questions. Okay. First question, what were your favorite moments in our class throughout our year? Oh, wow. Uh, good question. Um, I've got quite a few to choose from. But, um, probably the, uh, so what was that day we all came in, um, traditional dress? International day. Yeah, international day. Yeah, I think that day stood out, because it's really lovely when you see your students not in their school uniform. You know, you come in these different colors and styles, and the beauty of it, you could give me a little bit of information about where those outfits were from, about the fabrics, the colors. So, yeah, I really liked that. I thought that was amazing. Another question, do you like tutoring us for this year? Do you know what? Yes, yes, I do. Yes, I do. Um, I think you'll agree with me, we do have some rascals in that classroom. Um, but to be honest, you need rascals in the classroom, otherwise it'd be boring. So, I think it works, but I think we, I think the secret is getting the balance right. You don't want too many rascals in the classroom. Just one or two is okay, and then the rest are normal, you know, well-behaved students. So, I think we're lucky, I think we had a good balance. If we had too many rascals, then maybe I'll give you a different answer. Another question, what are some dislikes throughout your years? Uh, dislike, the dislike has nothing to do with the students. The dislike is sometimes, you know what it's like when you get to the classroom and then stuff isn't working. Or next thing, you know, sometimes my desktop will just freeze in the middle of the lesson. I'm like, oh my God, someone has to go and get this in, come and help us get the lesson back up. So, yeah, obviously those moments are not great. But I would say that it's the technical stuff. The students are great, it's the technical stuff that I don't like. Thank you so much, thank you all. Oh, you're welcome, thanks for having me. Okay, so now I'm here with Shardit. Hello. Shardit, what were your achievements throughout this year? Um, I was student librarian, I was on student council, and I was transition ambassador. That's a whole lot of achievements, how did you do with that? Well, for student librarian, I had to sacrifice lunchtime for it. Student council, it was just one session every lunchtime. And transition ambassador, it was just one day. So, I guess it was fine. Okay, what were your favorite moments throughout this year? Um, definitely school play. It was my first play, and it was actually really fun. And what were your worst moments? My worst moments were during exam season, because I kind of procrastinated this term. But it's fine, I still got good results, I think. It's fine, cramming is an experience you can all relate to. So, thoughts on this whole year? Um, I mean, it was great, because it was my first year of secondary, and I experienced a lot. And it was really fun and new to me, so it was cool. Thoughts on this podcast? It's a great podcast, guys. I love how you're interviewing everyone at the school. And it's actually really professional, the set-up is really cool. You heard it from her. Okay, bye-bye. Thank you for your time. Bye-bye. Hello, everyone, I'm here with... Teacher Saifree. Okay, Teacher Saifree. Our first question is, what is your favourite moment in the year? Oh, um... I think probably book week has been the highlight of the year for me. I just really enjoy seeing teachers and students enjoying things together. I see. Did you like teaching English this year? Yeah, teaching is my favourite bit of my job. So I really enjoy being a deputy head, but actually being in the classroom with students is definitely the best part. Which lesson did you like to teach the most during this? So when we were doing our introduction to Shakespeare unit, I particularly enjoyed when everybody performed in the auditorium, and it was great to see everyone, like, just getting up there and having a go. I see. What did you dislike most during this year? Um, I think there have been some points in this year where I've just been trying to do a few too many things at the same time, and then I end up feeling like I'm doing none of them very well. Oh, like just being overwhelmed by them? Yeah, at least stretched a bit too thin, we say in English. I see. Well, thank you very much for joining us today. Okay, my pleasure. Welcome to the first and hopefully last episode of Network by the Minute, by the Mystery Machine. I'm Hailey. I'm Hamsini. I'm Kayla. I'm To. And I'm Ivy, and welcome to Senior Hope. Today's edition is what happened throughout the 2023 and 2024 academic year, featuring a well-known celebrity at Network. So, first, because we get to see their input on this school year. So, in term one, we had our international day where we got to dress up as our cultures, and we got to eat traditional food. And in term two, we had our annual Christmas dinner and Christmas dance, and we also had a school play, which was on Buckingham Palace this school year. Then we started off term three with camp week, and then we had book week. Then we obviously had the water festival week at the end. That's so many weeks. And then in term four, we obviously have our arts week, and we have our year 13 graduating leavers. Now, let's talk about the students of Network. We're going to transition to an interview right now. Well, it's been interesting to hear people's input on this year, even though it's low-key very concerning. So, how are we to judge? Now, our personal phase. Sometimes I miss it about, like, the school play. It was such a fun experience. I know, right? Like, everything seems so... Even though it was, some of the parts were very unprepared, I feel like it was a wonderful experience for everyone that was in the school play. Yeah, and the thing is, we got to go to the Secretariat, and we had so much fun there, and we got KFC. Every day, yeah. I almost got, like, food poisoning, but, like, okay. Okay, then. I messed up a lot in front of the students in the school play. I know. The first night, I suddenly just got, like, freezing. Yeah, no, I remember. I wonder whose fault that was. Ha-ha, Judy! Okay. What about the choir festival? That was my favorite. It was so fun. I splashed you in the head twice. You splashed everyone in the head twice. Ha-jin, you're vicious. I know, right? Well, I was not here for the Finch at Water Festival, because we were at a tournament, which I think half of us won. But then, yeah. It's fine. Well, what about Ken Week? Is it free? Yeah, Ken Week was so fun. We got to remove all our friends. Yeah, I remember when Rihanna dropped her phone. Yeah, and I started panicking. She thought it was a ghost. I mean, it dropped the phone like a ghost bell. Yeah. I was in the same room as Rihanna, and we were watching a horror movie, and then she got scared, so she jumped on the bed, and then her phone fell off, and Ivy's room was directly below her bed. That's unfortunate. I was right here, and then Ivy started crying. It was, like, in your face, like, really cold. There's so many people, even the waiter is telling that the A&L League is haunted. So, what? Of course I panicked. No, wait, I remember, like, you were like, oh, my God, the painting moved. The painting moved. The painting moved. The painting. It just kind of changed. Okay, I... No, she woke me up the whole night. I was awake the whole night. You were asleep. Oh, no, no, no. You were asleep. Oh, no, no, no. You were asleep. I had to sign into their room, like, at first, and then the first thing they asked the staff was to remove that frame. Remove that frame. I remember. I remember. I remember going to the elevator to show up, and everyone was screaming. Yeah, and then we all started panicking, and then six girls came into our room. Yeah. Like, who made both of you? The A&L League was an extremely memorable time for us, especially because it was, like, our first year of secondary. Oh, how about the Christmas concert at dinner? That night was, like, one of the best nights during this whole year. The concert was really good. Oh, I remember the song and the dancing. Oh, yeah, and, like, Teacher Tracy, Teacher Jane, Teacher Paul. Oh, yeah. Remember? Oh, and Teacher Katie. Oh, yeah. I remember when, like, the teachers joined in on the dance. Like... It is a mixed experience. I still have a photo. Or, like, the singing that teachers don't make us do. I forgot the name of it. Well, uh... I think that's the end for our most favorite moments of the school year. And I hope we make more memorable moments next year. Okay. Now we get to see the teachers, Teacher Katie and Teacher Sophie's input on those memories. Well, since it's coming to the end of the school year, I would just like to say to all of the teachers and the Network community that I'm so grateful to have you guys by my side. And I've made so many amazing memories with Network. And I'm so grateful that Network stayed by my side throughout everything that I went through in Network. I'll miss every single moment throughout this year. I'll never forget those memories. And, um... I've been in Network for a long time, if you consider it. And I'm so grateful that Network has been here from primary to COVID to online teaching to right now in secondary. I have been here for, like, seven years. And it's honestly been such a fun experience being in Network. And I'm so grateful to be in the school every day. I remember when I first started year seven. This was my first year. And I'm so happy with the memories I've made. And I hope to stay here, like... I hope to stay here forever. I'm going to miss our year seven nights. It feels so small. We're not going to be at a junket festival. Yeah. You guys seem so serious to us. I know. I'm kind of scared. And more homework. Ha ha ha! And I need a haircut, right? Yeah. Dr. Cut! Dr. Cut!
