The Phillies podcast discusses the success and future of the Phillies baseball team. They have a strong roster with players like Johan Rojas, Brandon Marsh, and Nick Castellanos. The team has had recent playoff appearances and hopes to continue competing. The farm system is producing talented prospects like Nick Adele and Eden Miller. There are decisions to be made regarding players like Jack Wheeler, Cody Clements, and Bryce Harper, but overall, the future looks promising for the Phillies. Hello ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Phillies podcast. Today I will be talking about the 2020-2024 Phillies teams. This has been one of the greatest teams over the whole Phillies organization's existence. With them having gone to the World Series in 2022 and them having an MVP player in 2021 and last year with them going to the NLCS, they have sadly lost against the Diamondbacks and lost against the Astros in the World Series. We have great outfielders like Johan Rojas, who's pretty young, which I think he'll stick around for a while in the Phillies organization. Same with Brandon Marsh and Nick Castellanos, who was a great sign that we made in the 2021 offseason. Same with Kyle Schroberg, with him being our DH and having over 45 home runs in the past two years with him being with us. Also we have some great infielders like Bryson Stott, Alec Bamford, who are very young, in their mid-20s, and having great hitting and great defense. And we have people like Trey Turner, who's a great hitter and a great shortstop, with one time this year leading the whole league with hits, I'm pretty sure. And then we got Bryce Harper, who's I'd say the best first baseman in the league with him, not letting one ball pass him this whole year so far, and him having great hitting with him already having top 15 home runs in the league. Also, we have a great form system with people like Nick Adele coming up, about estimated to have his MLB debut in 2024. I think he'll be a great pitcher at East for us in the future. He has great stuff, and I'm excited to see him pitch. We have Eden Miller as well, top 100 prospect, same with Nick Adele. He's a great infielder and hitter. We have about five top 100 prospects in the MLB, in the minor leagues. But I think the form system and scouts are doing great with our prospects, and I think the Phillies team will be a competitor for years because of that. I'm excited to see what they do with Johan Roha, Cody Clements, and Jack Wheeler, because this is potentially their last season at the Phillies. So I'm excited to see what they do and decide on either signing them, letting them go, or trading them at the deadline. For Jack Wheeler, I think we're either trading him at the deadline or resigning him. I think that's the only options or only outcomes that will happen, but I think we should definitely trade Jack Wheeler at the deadline. I know he's probably our best ace, but he's getting older now. I think we could trade him for maybe another great pitcher or young pitching prospect. But with Johan Roha and Cody Clements, I think we resign them because once Bryce Harper's contract is done or whenever he retires, which I definitely think he would retire with the Phillies, we really need a good first baseman with Cody Clements or probably somewhere else in the infield or potentially be a DH. Johan Roha is our center fielder for right now. He's a great defensive weapon, and he's an all-right hitter, getting better, and I'm excited to see in the future what they do with people like Trey Turner, Aaron Noah, and Bryce Harper because by the time their signings are done, they will be pretty old, and I'm excited to see what they do with them, either signing them or trading them. So Bryce Harper, I think we should keep him unless something happens with him, his defense or offense gets bad. I think we should keep him for a while because I think he's a great baseball player. Not only a baseball player, he's a great teammate and a great, I'll just say, like sports star in Philly. He likes the fans, fans like him, and I think he's just a great fit for Philly. And Trey Turner, I think we'll keep him around a bit. I think we might trade him eventually, but for now he's going to stay in Philly, I think, I would say, yeah. And then Aaron Noah, I'm pretty sure he's here for the rest of his career because we signed him unless we trade him or something goes wrong. I would say we have him for the rest of his career, so I think that's a good sign for Philly. I think we'll have him every reign for the next 10 years, many playoff games. I'm excited to see where the Philly team is going, and I think it's going to be a great time for Philly. Thank you for listening and coming to my podcast.
