The speaker demonstrates how to customize touch gestures on an iPhone. They explain the process of accessing the settings, navigating to accessibility, and then to voiceover. They show examples of different touch gestures and how to assign them to specific commands. The speaker also shares their own customized gestures for accessing the status bar and the notification center. This feature can be helpful for individuals with accessibility needs. Hello everyone, today I'm going to show you what's called touch gestures for your iPhone. This enables you to do custom commands for the gestures. So first we're going to do is go to settings. Okay, once we get to settings, double tap. Once we get into the settings, we're going to go down to accessibility. Now we're on accessibility, double tap. And once we open up accessibility, we're going to go to voiceover. Okay, once you get to voiceover, double tap. Now that we're into voiceover, we're going to swipe over to commands. Now that we're on commands, we're going to double tap. Now that we're open in commands, we're going to swipe down until we hear touch gestures. Okay, now that we're on touch gestures, we're going to double tap. You heard as I say one finger. So I'm going to go ahead and show you what that means. I'm going to go ahead and swipe to the left. Now you heard that one finger triple tap is notification center. Not for me because I have issues finding that. So that's why I did that command. And I'll show you a demonstration regarding the notification center, how I customize that later in the demonstration. So I'm going to swipe to my left to show you more commands. Tap, two fingers, two fingers single tap, two fingers double tap, magic tap. So you're going to find the one that you want and then you're going to double tap. This was already assigned but I'll show you anyways. Go ahead and double tap. Now once you open the command, you're going to find there are over a hundred or nearly a hundred and forty six gestures you can assign to that particular command. Okay, I'm going to swipe to the left to show you. Command, head, search, dictate, interaction, heading, activate, escape, selected, magic tap, perform loan press. So once you pick the gesture you want for that particular command, you're going to double tap it, you're going to swipe over to where it says assign and double tap and you're done. So I'm going to go ahead and show you how I have my gestures. I think I have two. Okay, I'm back in my home screen. So I have two. I have a three finger single tap that takes me to my status bar. Let me show you. Six twenty eight PM. Status, do not disturb. Cellular, three or four bars. Signal strength. The second command is my one finger triple tap. So I'm going to go ahead and perform that now. Notification center. So you see how I open my notification center. Well, without me having to swipe either down or up from the corner to the left, nothing confuses me. So I hope this helps folks. This is called touch gestures for your iPhone and we'll see you the next time.
