In today's episode, Joaquin talks about making decisions and how wisdom makes everything worthwhile.
The speaker discusses the importance of choosing the best outcome in life, emphasizing the need for righteousness and nobility in decision-making. They mention the concept of tapping into infinite knowledge, which they believe can be achieved through Jesus Christ. They refer to the story of King Solomon, who asked God for wisdom and was granted it. The speaker also touches on the idea of controlling emotions and attitudes, and the power of Jesus to bring peace, wisdom, and success. They encourage listeners to seek wisdom from God and suggest that future podcast episodes can explore suggested topics. Well, it has been some time since we last spoke. Since the fourth podcast. I promise you, this wasn't my doing. But we are here now. I see Thanksgiving is around the corner. Let's enjoy the company of friends and family. Without further ado, let's begin. Today's topic is interesting. Let us call it, Peeking at Wisdom. In life, you must always wrestle with choosing the best outcome. The best alternate version must meet at least two criteria. It must be righteous in its core. I'm referring to the root of your person and decision. And it should also be noble. As noble as possible. Always regarding all the parties involved. That goes for everything. When trouble comes or when it seems as if a situation has been handed to you directly by God himself. Choose the best alternate version. You have probably heard it coined. You play the cards you're dealt. But how can you without possessing morality in your heart? How do you want better? How can you without a fixed moral compass navigating your soul at every bump? How do you want still even greater? Without wisdom handed to you by God? Okay. I will let you on a little secret. Allow me to break the fourth wall dimensions for a moment. There is such a thing as tapping into infinite knowledge. You heard that right. And I'm not talking about your mind or opening your third eye as many call it. I'm seriously tapping into the storehouse of infinite knowledge. The caveat here is. Are you ready for this? This storehouse of knowledge is actually a person. He is Jesus Christ. And this Jesus is God. King Solomon asked God. And God gave him wisdom. It's a superpower. And it is only given if you ask God personally for it. Here is what King Solomon prayed for. But before I say it. You got to understand the scene. So allow me to quote scripture. Yahweh appeared to Solomon at Gibeon in a dream at night. And God said, ask what I should give to you. Then Solomon said, you have shown great loyal love with your servant David, my father. As he walked before you in faithfulness and in righteousness. And in a brightness of heart with you. You have shown for him this great loyal love. And you have given a son to him who is sitting on his throne as it is this day. So then, oh Yahweh, you are my God. You have made your servant king in place of David, my father. Though I am a young boy. I do not know going out or coming in. Your servant is in the middle of your people whom you have chosen. A great people who cannot be counted or numbered because of abundance. Give your servant a listening heart to judge your people. To discern between good and bad. Because who is able to judge this, your difficult people. The word was good in the eyes of the Lord that Solomon had asked this thing. And God said to him, because you have asked this thing. And you did not ask for yourself a long life. And you did not ask for riches for yourself. And you did not ask for the life of your enemies. But you have asked for yourself the ability to make wise judgments. Behold, I do hereby do according to your word. I hereby give you a wise and discerning heart. There was no one like you before you, nor afterwards will one like you arise. To what you have not asked, I give to you. Both riches and honor. So that no man among kings will be like you all of your days. If you will walk in my ways by keeping my statutes and my commandments. As David your father walked, then I will lengthen your days. Then Solomon awoke. Wow, what a fascinating read. I do want to apologize in advance. My reading out loud is not beautiful. And I know it. But moving forward. Emotions and attitudes are like the tides of the deep sea. Who can control it? Who can harness it? How many times have your attitude and emotion thrown out the handle? Let me ask you a question. Wasn't Jesus who made the deadly storm still. When his disciples were dreading death out on sea. When Peter saw Jesus walking on waters. Let me tell you something. Jesus gives peace, eternal life, wisdom, strength, success, healing, justice, and victory. Remember, it is about choosing the best alternate version of a decision. And you need morality. You need a moral compass. You need wisdom. God, he is the moral law giver. It is through the ruler that he has placed on this universe. That we are able to calculate and think and move. Remember, wisdom is a person. That person is Jesus Christ. That is God. And he gives it to whomever asks and to whomever he pleases. We saw the story with King Solomon. He asked and God gave. That is an example, a testimony. That that is available to you and it's for you. This concludes podcast season 1 episode 5. I'm so excited that I was able to get this. I know it's late. But if you have any recommendation, any suggestion on a topic that you want me to wrestle or you want me to share or expound on. I am thrilled to hear it and to put it on for episode 6 and moving forward. Thank you all.
