Overall, the speaker finds it fascinating to learn about different cultures and hopes the listeners enjoyed the podcast. Hello, on this week's podcast, we're talking about culture in society or sociology. And culture is a big thing in the whole entire world because people from all over the U.S. have different types of culture, whether they're Japanese or Hispanic or Muslim or any of that. They may be born here, but they still celebrate their culture. So we're talking about the culture of Hispanics. I'm actually Hispanic. And I'm adopted from Guatemala. And I might also be Mayan Indian, which is really cool. But the culture in Hispanics is different here. They cook a lot of spicy Mexican food, which I've had some, and it's good, like tamales. And they have quesadillas, which are like sweet 16s, but they're sweet 15s for the daughter who, they're like big dances and big poofy dresses, and there are all kinds of foods and a dance that they have. And 15 is becoming a woman in the Hispanic world versus 16 in the U.S., which is becoming a woman. So it's very neat to see about the different cultures and how they play in society because I didn't have a sweet 15 or a quesadilla because we didn't really know about it and couldn't afford it either, but I didn't even know what it was. I just consider myself to be American. Even though I wasn't born here, I was born in another country. So it's really cool when I meet people from these countries to see about their culture and how it applies here in the U.S. versus other places, and like Hanukkah, you know, the religion Hanukkah, which I think we're in Christmas season now, so I think they're starting to celebrate Hanukkah. So like the different religions and culture, some people are Christian, some people are Muslim, some people are Jewish, some people don't even celebrate Jesus, so there's different cultures when it comes to that and different religions and it's important. Like Hispanics, I think, in Guatemala, they're Catholic, and so that's an important religion because it's the standard Christian religion and it's very important to understand how it plays out in society because we're all different people, we're not just one person. God didn't make one person, he made different people to bring society together, bring the world of sociology together, and it's cool to see how it plays out and who we are and what we're made to be in our different ways, in our different views, and what kind of person we're becoming in society because of our culture, because I'm adopted and have a Hispanic background but also live an American life, it's very cool because people like to hear it and see it. So, this one was a good podcast and I hope you enjoyed it and come back next time. Thank you all for learning culture with me this week.
