In this episode of Learning is Fun, the topic is landforms. Landforms are natural features of the Earth's surface, and the major ones include mountains, plateaus, valleys, hills, plains, and deserts. Mountains are the highest with steep sides and a peak. Hills are lower than mountains but higher than the surrounding areas. Valleys are low lying areas between mountains or hills. Plateaus are flat top highlands with steep sides. Plains are flat areas of land. Deserts are dry and hot with little rainfall. The episode emphasizes traveling through these different landforms. The hope is that listeners have learned about these landforms and can identify them. The next episode will focus on another topic. Hello boys and girls.
