Welcome to the Spirit of Life in Christ Ministries Morning Prayer for Friday, September the 4th, 2009. I'm your host Apostle Bacon with my wife, Pastor Estella Bacon coming to you live from Toledo, Ohio. This morning we're having our morning prayer and our show usually airs every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. It's called Word for Today at 4 p.m. Eastern Time. We'll start our prayer, Father, in the name of Jesus. Lord, we're thankful right now, God, for life, for health and for strength. Lord, we're thankful, O God, for how you watched over us throughout the night. And Lord, we know that you're going to keep us throughout this day. And Lord, we're praising you, God, for your goodness and your greatness. Lord, for what you're doing for us even now. Lord, we have need of your grace, O God, that we may run with patience the race that is set before us. Looking unto you, God, as the author and the finisher of our faith. And Lord, this day, O God, we come against every principality and power in the name of Jesus. Lord, for we know that you made a show of them openly, triumphing over them. And Lord, we know we have the victory today through our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus. Lord, we thank you, O God. And Lord, we're going to take on the full armor. Lord, we're going to put on the breastplate of righteousness. And our feet are going to be shed with the preparation of the gospel of peace. We're going to take the shield of faith, quenching all the fiery darts of the wicked. The sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And we're going to have on the helmet of salvation. And Lord, we're going to go forward in the battle, O God, in the name of Jesus. Lord, we pull down every stronghold that is within our lives. Lord, everything that would try to defeat us, O God, we pull it down. We pull down imaginations and every high thing that would exalt itself against the knowledge of God. And right now, Lord, we bring every thought that we may have. Every thought that we have, we bring it captive to the obedience of Christ in the name of Jesus. Lord, we thank you right now, God, for your grace and your mercy. Lord, we thank you that you've given us the victory even now, Lord. In the name of Jesus. Lord, we thank you right now, God. Lord, because we know, Lord, that we are winning the battle even now. The battle that is set before us. Lord, as we look unto you, the author and the finisher of our faith. And Lord, we praise you right now, God. Thank you, Jesus. We're grateful right now, God. O God, we're just thankful in all things, God, this morning, God. O God, we come to you, God, because we need you right now, God. We know, O God, that you're the one that causes us to gain and to give. You're the one, God, that causes us to live and to move and to have our being, God. We just ask you right now that you touch us on every side, God. Lord, we can't do it without you, God. We come to your throne right now, God, of grace, God, boldly to find help in the time of need, God. Thank you, Lord. We ask that you watch over us, God, today. O God, that you're angels, God. O God, we encamp, O God, around us, God. Encamp around us, keeping us safe. Yes, Lord. In the name of Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus. And O God, we just ask you right now, God. O God, that you come against us. We just come against every hindrance, God. Yes, Lord. Every hindrance in the name of Jesus. Yes, Lord. In our lives, God. Yes, Lord. O God, we pull down every stronghold in Jesus' name. Yes, Lord. We bind the enemy right now that will come to hinder us. Yes, Lord. In the name of Jesus. Yes, Lord. O God, for we have victory in you, God. We call forth victory right now, God. Yes, Lord. Victory in our lives, God. Yes, Lord Jesus. Victory in you, God, in the name of Jesus. Yes, Lord. We're triumphant in you, God. O God, for we have victory, God. Thank you right now. Yes, Lord Jesus. O God, we thank you right now, God. Thank you right now, Lord Jesus.
