The Monkey Foot Towel Lift exercise involves sitting in a chair and placing a towel on the floor. You then place one foot over the towel and use your toes to pick it up while keeping your heel on the ground. Repeat this exercise 10 to 12 times on each foot, focusing on squeezing your toes and working the muscles in the bottom of your foot. Remember to exhale when squeezing and inhale when releasing. Repeat as needed. Monkey Foot Towel Lift. You will need a chair and a towel. Sit in the chair and put the towel on the floor. Put one of your feet over the towel. Squeeze your toes and pick up the towel while leaving your heel on the ground. Put it back down and relax the toes. Start with 10 to 12 repetitions and switch feet. When you're squeezing your toes, exhale and when you release, inhale. Focus on a good tight squeeze with the toes and working those muscles in the bottom of your foot. Repeat as often as necessary.
