This is a sexual harassment training course for workers conducted by SUMA. The course covers sensitive topics such as sexual harassment and assault. SUMA has a zero-tolerance policy towards bullying and harassment, including sexual harassment. Workers are encouraged to report any incidents and will be treated with respect and confidentiality. All workers, including contractors, have the right to feel safe at work and not be harassed. SUMA will take all necessary steps to address and resolve allegations of sexual harassment. Welcome to SUMA's Sexual Harassment Training Course for Workers. The content of this training is sensitive and the topics covered are difficult by nature. We will be discussing sexual harassment and sexual assault. If this is triggering for you, please speak to personnel or your PDC to identify next steps. By the end of this course you will Understand that SUMA has a zero-tolerance approach to bullying and harassment. Recognise what is meant by the term sexual harassment. Know what to do if you witness or are subjected to sexual harassment. SUMA is committed to providing a safe environment for all workers, free from harassment at work, including sexual harassment which is unlawful. SUMA operates a zero-tolerance approach to any form of sexual harassment. Any allegations of this nature directly contradict SUMA's Code of Conduct and will be taken very seriously. They will be treated with respect and in confidence and no one will be victimised for making such a complaint. All SUMA staff, including permanent workers, fixed-term workers and third-party contractors, have the right to feel safe at work and not to be harassed. This includes all of SUMA's work locations, including off-site working and work-related functions, parties and training sessions. It also applies to any behaviour outside of work that affects working relationships.
