Satinia from the It's Fine, It's Fine, Everything's Fine podcast is grateful for the love and feedback she's been receiving. She plans to have her little brother on the podcast for a fun questionnaire. Satinia discusses seven senses she wishes she had known sooner. She agrees that hard times and pain can shape and strengthen us. She shares a story about a friend who lies to themselves and emphasizes the importance of not expecting honesty from such people. She also discusses the need to treat others with kindness and not degrade or berate them. Satinia advises saving explanations for those who are willing to understand and giving silence to those who are determined to misunderstand. She encourages people to prioritize their happiness and not sacrifice their time for a job. Satinia believes in being an entrepreneur and working less while making more money. She also advises not letting the opinions of people you don't respect affect you. Hello, hello everyone. It's your girl Satinia in the house back on It's Fine, It's Fine, Everything's Fine podcast. Thank you to everybody who tuned in and has been tuning in and sending me lots of love and feedback. I just want to let everybody know how appreciated it is. Shout out to my little brother. He actually is one of the people who recently sent me a lot of love on my last podcast or from the last podcast. Coming up soon here, I'm going to be having him come over to my house and we're going to do a podcast together where we're going to do a little questionnaire. It's going to be a lot of fun, so definitely keep tuning in so you can check that one out. Today I'm going to focus on these seven senses that I wish I heard sooner. Each one I'm going to read off and then kind of put my own two cents into them, so let's go. So the first one is these hard times, this pain, these lessons. One day they'll be your strength, your awareness, and your blessings. So I would definitely say with that, I 100% can agree with that because when I look back on all my hard times and the pain I've felt in my past and the lessons I definitely have learned, I would say the greatest version of myself has been coming from analyzing those times because through all those hard times, it's what really shaped me into who I am today because nothing grows without rain, right? And you don't know what's good if you don't know what's bad, so I could definitely agree with that 100%. The second one says stop expecting honesty from people who lie to themselves. And wow, that one hits home definitely because actually I have a little side story that I had a homegirl who recently stopped by and she's like the biggest liar I know. She recently is going through some very hard times and I let her come over because I have a soft spot for her because I know her background. She was raised by a complete psychopath, her mother, and I know her mom. So with that being said, I do understand and this is kind of one of my downfalls in life is understanding people for who they are because I look past who they are in the moment and think about everything that's added up into who they've become. And I just want to live by this golden rule of, you know, challenge when you want to be treated. And I wished that my whole life and I still wish for people to treat me with understanding and give me grace. But sometimes you can't do that with people. Like she tried to steal from me, which is crazy, but whatever. I just say, I just think of her in that moment because she like is always lying to herself. And then, you know, while we're talking and she kept lying to me and I'm just like looking at her like, wow, this girl hasn't changed at all. She hasn't learned at all from even these horrible lessons she's going through right now. But the reality is, right, it's like, why would I expect honesty from someone who lies to themselves? And I see that all the time where people just are liars, but predominantly it's like they're lying to themselves about who they are and who they're portraying to be. And it's like, well, you know, like that said, you can't really expect honesty from people who especially start with lying to themselves. I think everybody should remember that. If you see somebody is lying to their own self about who they are and what they represent, but they're portraying everybody else like they are something else or somebody else. Just take that as a heed of warning to not take it to heart if they lie to you. Number three says you'll never look good trying to make someone look bad. And that's a good one because I don't know why people seem to find themselves degrading and berating others like as if that makes them cool or makes them better than somebody. Because the reality is we're all pieces of shit one way or another. I mean, compared to God, we all are nothing and we're all a bunch of sinners. And people really have to learn how to humble themselves because at the end of the day, if you feel like it makes you cooler than somebody to be an asshole to them or it makes you better than someone just because you might be above them. Just remember you can always lose anything today and you're not guaranteed anything in life. And your circumstances can change drastically fast. So I would say that that's a beautiful thing to hold on to for everyone to keep in the back of their mind. Because it's like I always was the bully of bullies. I've never been into degrading others or making fun of people. I actually had a fake friend who was really bad about that. Anytime she's seen someone who looked funny or whatever, just couldn't wait to have something shitty to say. And it was really bothering me. I kept trying to correct her on that because that's just not my style. But she ended up being a fake friend anyways. And I should have knew that the minute I seen that. Because that whole picking on people or just making fun of people, that's just not cute. And it's like mean girl energy. And I'm all for nice girl energy. So let's see. We got the next one. Number four is save your explanation for only those who are determined to understand you. And give silence to those who are determined to misunderstand you. I really like that one. Because I think, I know I can say for sure. Me personally, I had a really hard time with understanding that. For a long time, I would get so angry and frustrated. And just all worked up trying to explain myself and explain things to people the right way. And I would know I was right. And I would be so dead set on trying to make them understand what I was saying to them. And the reality is, and I actually just really learned this in probably the last year or so. That there's no fucking point. There's no point in trying to overwork yourself, overstretch yourself, overexert energy into trying to force a person to hear what you're saying. Because the reality is, if they don't want to hear what you have to say. And they're determined to not hear what you're saying. Then you are literally fighting an upward battle. Like you're basically hitting your head on a brick wall. And if somebody doesn't want to hear what you have to say, regardless of how right you are. That's a waste of your breath and your energy. And I had to understand that because I wasted a lot of my time and a lot of my energy. Trying to force people to see things in the right way. And understand where I was coming from. And I would get so upset trying to get them to hear what I was saying. And it was like, the reality is, I was wasting my own time and my own breath trying to force them to hear me. So yeah, that's a very good one. Number five says, your life is too short to be unhappy. To only get two days of freedom is not fair. I think that that is a perfect one to go into the reason why I have took the path of entrepreneurship. And why even for a long time, while I was in the workforce, I was a server. Because at the end of the day, we only have one life, guys. And when it comes to working, if you're working five days a week and only have the weekends off. And you're over here missing birthday parties, missing important dates, skipping out on funerals. Or whatever the case may be. Skipping out on family trips and time spent with family in general. Or people you love, being there for the people you love. Because of a job. Just know that you're worth so much more. Your time is worth so much more. It is a system that's been implicated to make you feel like you have to work more just to be secured in life. And I feel like my best thing I ever did was believe in what God told me. When God told me I didn't have to have a regular job anymore. I have literally, guys, not worked a year and a half. And when I tell you I have everything I've ever needed and then some, I'm blessed beyond measures. And, you know, it was a really hard thing to trust in God and believe that I didn't need a job. But he really showed me that he was not joking. Like, everything has been great. I'm not going to say it's just been super easy. And I am working on other things, which those are coming up soon here. This is one of my projects I'm working on right now. But I can tell you guys, like, being an entrepreneur, like, figuring out what you can do to work less and make more money. Like, even as a server, I only had to work four days a week. And I was making way more than the average person. And that was great. Like, my whole life, I've been very determined to be on my own time. I believe everyone should have that luxury. And nobody is less subjected to be able to do that than me. Like, I'm not the only person who can do that. I always like to tell people, your CEO didn't ever miss a birthday party. Those big corporations, anybody running those big corporations, you think that they're missing anything that they want to do to have a good time. Well, even if it's taking a day off from work just because they want to sleep all day, like, you are entitled to that. We all are entitled to that. You know, your mental health, your well-being, your time spent with the people you love, that is all way more important than a job. So anybody out here who's questioning quitting that job, quit that fucking job. Fuck that job. You don't need to work that job. There's too many jobs out here. There's too many careers out here. There's too many different avenues to make money. You know, you're not supposed to work harder for money. You're supposed to make money work harder for you. So we're moving on to number six now. Don't be upset from people you don't even respect in life. Okay, hold on, guys. Sorry. I wrote this kind of crazy. Let me see. Don't be upset from people you don't even respect in life. Don't sell yourself short for what truly matters. Oh, I like that one. Yeah, like, if you know that you don't even respect the person talking shit to you, then you shouldn't even be worried about what they're talking about. I can 100% understand and agree with that one, because it's like, if half the time people don't even respect themselves, let alone you, and if they don't respect themselves, they definitely can't respect you. And if you don't even respect them or value what they're talking about, then you don't need to hear that. You know, you should always, like, stick to surrounding yourself with people who actually value you and do respect you and care about you and have your best interests at heart. With that being said, sometimes people will say things to you you don't want to hear, but if it's coming from a good place and it's genuinely them telling you something that's going to be better for your life and they're trying to – they're telling – sometimes, you know, you don't have to like what somebody's hearing, but it's like, what is their intention? If they have good intentions and they're only telling you things because they want to see you bettering yourself or your life, you shouldn't be mad about that. But when people are just trying to, like, belittle you or degrade you or treat you like you're lesser than in any form and they're just saying things to you to be hurtful and upset you, that's not worth even spending your energy on. And I know that's a lot easier said than done, because I've always been guilty of being the person to get all fucking riled up over what people tell me. And I've always been guilty of, like, I'll let – I used to be super bad about letting something – one thing ruin my whole day, week even. Like, all the time I spent being upset over things that people said to me and they were all, like, coming from people who I really didn't respect, things that were being said to me by people I did not care about, really, because their opinion was super irrelevant because of things that they were even saying to me, they couldn't even follow themselves. Yeah, I could've saved a lot of energy and time and stress if I would've just, you know, not gave a fuck, because there's no point in caring. And so that ends us on number seven, which is life is not tiring. Wanting life to be a certain way but not having the confidence to make it that way is tiring. Ooh, that's a really good one, because, yeah, I mean, at the end of the day, that kind of goes into the whole message I'm trying to relay here on this podcast, which is everything is about you and life is what you make it. And sometimes you think you want things a certain way, but if you're not really all the way healed on the inside, there's a lot of things you could be trying to fight for that if you really take the time to grow and learn yourself more and re-evaluate who you've become due to who you've been, then you might all of a sudden realize, like, wow, all these things I thought I wanted are now. Anything I want, including relationships, including careers and everything, so on and so forth, I think that taking the time to really sit with yourself and figure out who you are, like, the importance of that is so immense. Because until you do that, and I'm saying this because I've been through it and I'm still going through it constantly every day, it's a new revelation of things I need to work on and things I'm still working on and being proud of myself for things I've overcome and then taking time to realize there are things I'm still definitely far from being healed in. And the reality, though, is, like, you think you might want something, but until you really take the time to understand why do you want that or where is that want coming from, you know, it's exhausting to be trying to force yourself to be living a life that is really not meant for you. And I think that also goes into your relationship with God, the importance of that, because, like, when I gave my life to God, to Jesus and accepted Him in my heart as my Lord and Savior and really, really started focusing on what God was telling me and what God's direction for me was, like, I'm seeing how His way for me is even greater than I could have ever imagined for myself. He's the one who's given me the strength to even be here today, physically and spiritually, mentally, emotionally, through my journey with Him, I've grown a lot because He's sparked that growth within myself and definitely, and this is where I always like to say when I'm talking about God, you know, I'm not here trying to push a Jesus on it, I'm not a Jesus freak, like, yeah, you gotta believe in Jesus Christ, you're going to hell, like, it's never that. Just an honest experience, like, God isn't even like that, if you really know God, God is so much love, He loves you more than you even could ever love yourself or another person could ever love you. And with that being said, whatever His message is, whatever He is telling you to do, it's going to always be better than what you even want for yourself, because He's put ideas in my head that are revolutionary, and I know that I'm here today spreading His message of love for Him and others, because that's all He's about, is love, guys, it's all about the love, loving yourself, loving one another, through being the best version of yourself. You can be the best version for others, not only stems from Him and understanding who He is truly, and even if you're a person who doesn't want to do with God, but just doing that period, the love, love, love, love, love, love, when you replace all the hate in this world with love, well, then we'd be in heaven, right? It's not realistic. It's not going to happen here. But, you know, if you can be that good person in the world, well, that's one more good person than there was. So, you know, that is the goal. So, I really love that. Those were definitely seven things to hear sooner. I think that it's all about spreading the positivity, trying to just be the best version of ourselves for others, right? Because you can't be the best at anything if you're not the best you. And so all those things kind of go hand in hand with that, because I think all of us suffer from being, like, way too worried about what other people have to say about us, way too worried about what society's telling us, way too worried about what our parents tell us to do, or who, you know, our family, our significant others, you know, whatever. And whoever it is telling you anything against what you are feeling on your inside, you need to ignore them, because you know deep in your spirit more than anybody else. Like, everybody has that subconscious inner voice or intuition, that thing that's like, you know, when you go to do something you're not supposed to do, it's like, hey, don't do that. And, you know, the more you listen to that, the louder it gets and the better your life becomes. But it's easy to push that voice down and ignore that voice. But it never leaves. It's always still inside you. We all still have that voice inside of us that is constantly, you know, telling us the right way, telling us, like, the energy around us definitely is real and we are, I mean, if you want to make it a science thing, we are made of energy. So, like, when you feel those feelings like something is off, it's because it is. Don't ever question yourself. Yourself knows the best for you before anybody else. Don't let those outside voices fool you. Listen to your inner voice. Listen to your inner self, because your inner self is going to always be trying to push you to the best person you're supposed to be. It has your best interest at heart more than anything else. And so anybody who is trying to go against those inner voices, they're lying to you. You know, it's like, if your inner voice is telling you this, but they're telling you this, but you just can't let go of it, it's because it's true. Like, let's use cheating as an example. Ladies, we all know that we know in our heart when our man is cheating on us. We all know in our heart when he is lying to us, but we will listen to him and be like, no, babe, it's not what you think. No, babe, I didn't talk to her. And then what happens? We find that bitch's name in his phone or we find that he's been liking her pictures or whatever the case. Yeah, because we already knew, because it was already inside of us. It's inside of you. Your answers are always inside. And that was the beautiful thing that God placed inside of us is our intuition. So we shouldn't ever be trying to, you know, ignore that little voice inside of our heads, because that little voice inside of our head is what matters. It's what's that, you know, all every cartoon ever had it, the little devil, the little angel, the angels, like, best interest at heart. I'm telling you what it's right to do. And then the little devil's like, I'll go against that. Do the opposite. Do what you know you shouldn't do, man. So I, I'm going to end this note on, you know, you are the greatest project you'll ever work on. So, you know, just remember that you are never too late to restart, reset and refocus as many times as you need to. You are never too old. You're never too late. You're never too sinful. You've never done too much in your life of, you know, negative things. It doesn't matter if you did the worst of the worst things. That doesn't mean that you're not capable of revamping your life and revamping yourself at any moment. You know, every single day is a new day. The past is the past. The future is the future. But the present is called the present because it's a gift. And that is the realest shit ever. Because at the end of the day, every single day is a gift and an ability to start over and try again and do something new. And you aren't who you were. You are who you are in this very moment because tomorrow is not promised and yesterday is already gone. So never forget that, you guys. Don't let anybody make you feel like it's too late because there's 8 billion people in this world and I don't care if every single person you know wants to treat you as if you're only that. You can go to a whole other country or a whole other state and meet all new people and guess what? They're only going to know who you are right then and there in that day, in that moment. They don't know who you've been, who you are trying to be or any of that. They only know who you show them. So that's a perfect example to express how serious and real that is when it comes to the fact that you don't have to be who you once were every single moment. The moment you really make that decision that you are not going to be that person, you're not anymore. And then as long as your actions match, that's all that matters. Because I don't care, like, it took me a long time to get over my fear of, like, well, I used to do this and I've been here and I did that and these people know me as this and this, that, then the third and it's like, fuck all that because I don't really give a shit anymore, you know? Excuse my French. I'm trying not to cuss so much. I feel like I've been cussing a lot more. Oops. It is what it is. But, um, you know, I did let that hold me up for a long time. Like, I don't want to do social media stuff because, you know, I know a lot of people and I party a lot. I don't, you know, need people bringing up my past. I don't even care anymore. Go ahead, bring it up because it has nothing to do with who I am right now. I don't care if you met me, if you met me even six months ago, I'm not the same person I am right in this very moment today. So, you know, if that hopefully encourages anybody else, like me being me, I used to be wild as fuck, aggressive as hell, didn't give a fuck about anything, just out here partying, all types of shit. Like, you know, I just was doing a lot. I was doing them all for a long time because I was broken. I was a broken person. I've had a lot of trauma and like my, you know, it's real. My counselor literally told me that I've been so traumatized. I don't even recognize how much trauma I have. So, you know, it's like, I am a perfect example of a person to show you that it doesn't matter who you've been or who you used to be, or even who you are right now. Just don't let that be who you are forever if you know that you want to change. Change, and that's all you got to do is change. And actions speak louder than words. It's also not just about talking the talk but walking the walk because you got to have your actions to back it up. Now, obviously, it doesn't count if you're just like, today I'm not this person, but then continue to do the same thing. No, it's not that. It's like your life actually is an example and you're actually showing with your actions that like, hey, like it doesn't matter if I used to, I used to go out every fucking night. Now, you'll be lucky to catch me at a bar. If you caught me there, it's probably for an occasion, probably because somebody dragged me out the house, and I'm probably wishing I was at home. But back in the day, oh, I couldn't wait. There wasn't a Saturday I wasn't not going to be out, period. Where's the babysitter at? Because I'm out here, you know? But it doesn't matter. Like, change is all about you and what you want to do for you. So, with that being said, don't ever give up and just know you can restart, reset, refocus whenever you want. Like I said, I have a couple of projects I'm still working on. I know the YouTube is not all the way up yet, but I am on my way to getting that up and going. But I'm really focused on some other projects I have going on, so eventually I will be touching into those. They're kind of top secret info right now, because until I get it all the way secured, I don't need anybody stealing my deals. So, with that being said, you know, that's the end of the day, guys. It's fine. It's fine. Everything's fine. Tune in next time around. Peace and love. Let's go!
