For example, at the Holy Grail Tavern and Grill, a bar right along the banks near the Bengals' Paycourt Stadium, sales were up almost 200% over last January and 90% over 2019, noted owner Jim Morey. For the Super Bowl, Walt's Hitching Post experienced a 10% growth, while Mason's 16 Lots Brewing Co. experienced a significant lift, according to Mike Burton. And, the Centers and Saints local bar claimed that since the Bengals' coach arrived bearing one of the five game balls given out after the team's victory, revenue had increased by 30%. These statistics are according to WCPO article's Cincinnati's Consolation Prize, economic impact from Bengals' Super Bowl run.
