Mera naam Saurabh Goswami hai and I love to tell stories. This is the first show on the podcast and there is a story that I want to start the podcast with. The story is about a small white pill. The small white pill or tablet has changed my life. For a long time, I had a problem with sleep. I could not sleep. I could not sleep properly because I kept thinking about something in my mind at night. Plus, Instagram Reels and different things. The whole day you are in front of the screen. So, by doing this, it always happened that my sleep disappeared. I used to go to sleep on time. I used to go to sleep between 11-12 every day, but I could not sleep. It may happen to all of you. So, this was the day when I decided that now I will go to sleep. It happened a lot. I will not keep this on my phone till 2-3 at night. I will sleep and wake up early in the morning. I will go for a walk. I will go to the gym and do a lot. That day, my resolve was so strong that I thought that even if I do not sleep, then today I will eat a sleeping pill and sleep. That day I had decided that I am going to sleep at the right time. Now it is too late. So, I went to a medicine shop and brought a sleeping pill from there. Now you will ask how did I get a sleeping pill? I got it. You get a lot of things in India. So, he gave me a sleeping pill because he knew me. But when I brought the sleeping pill, while coming, I thought that I will check it once. What is in it? How can we eat like this? Sleeping is important, but it is shown in movies that sleeping pills are dangerous. So, let's check it once. What is in it? I checked and there were a lot of things in it that scared me a little. I thought this is such a medicine that those are taking who are having anxiety or insomnia. I do not have anxiety or insomnia. I just have one problem that I have seen the screen more and there is a chemical in the brain. But after thinking this, I came home and I thought that whatever it is, it is important to fulfill my resolve. So, I took out that pill, ate food and came back to my bed. While going, I saw that pill. That pill was looking at me with one eye. That dangerous eye. I thought that what will I eat and be happy the next day. But ignoring all that, I focused on the delicious potato parathas that were made. And I went back. You ate potato parathas. And after eating, after watching TV for a while. Because it is important to watch TV after eating. So, coming back, I thought that now I will sleep. It is too late. It is 11 o'clock. And then I looked at that pill. And as soon as I looked at it, I heard a voice from inside that you should not do this. What was that? It was that if you are in any difficulty, then taking a shortcut is not right. Going on such a path, from which you will take a long term pain, that is not right. And am I so weak? Am I so naive? Am I so stupid that I will play with my own mind? And for one night's sleep, I will face this problem for the next many nights? Not at all. Then I decided that this pill should go to hell. Sleep should come. I did my air conditioning at 22 degrees. Turned on the fan, put on the blanket and went to sleep. And said to my pillow, look, sleep is very important to me. And to sleep on time is more than that. I am not so weak that I get stuck under this pill. So do something. And it was that night that I will never forget. Because that night ended after the next 10 hours.
