The speaker is discussing project outlines in their podcast. They believe that making outlines is a smart way to stay organized and improve success. They talk about their own project outline for a podcast on concerts and how it helped them stay organized. They also mention going off-script a bit but still sticking to their mini script. They express a desire to improve their storytelling skills and talk about the self-portrait recording going well. They conclude by saying they enjoy their personal outline strategy and look forward to hearing about others' strategies. Hello, hope everyone is doing well, and welcome to my third mini podcast for this class. I'm your host, Riley Moulton, if you didn't know. And let's talk Project Outlines Part 2. So obviously last week we talked about outlines, you know, why we do it, and what our specific outline style is like. It kind of sounds silly and maybe a little surface level for like a class that's pretty much on podcasting, but I think it's a good thing to talk about. You know, people make outlines about pretty much anything, really. Making food, that could be a recipe outline. Gotta grind out some homework, lock in for midterms, why not make a schedule outline for all that work? It's such a smart way to stay organized, and to me, organization is key to success. So let's talk about it again, let's go over my personal outline, as I really enjoyed doing that last time, and I hope everyone else did as well. So my project outline for the podcast three, it was on concerts, but it was only a few bullet points. You know, five to be exact. But I think they were a huge help with recording, and made me stay organized. I will say, I did go a little bit off script from my how concerts made me love live music, and Taylor Swift, Gillette Stadium, all of that, but that's kind of bound to happen. As you know, we're all not perfect people, however, I definitely stuck to my mini script that I mentioned in my outline, and I was very happy that I did so. I did open it up with talking about myself, as I mentioned in the outline. Just for some personal criticism, I don't know how much it blended well with my overall topic, but nonetheless, we move on, and that's something I can improve on for next time, to see if I can really develop that full-fledged story, and have it all connected in its own unique way. I believe my topic was interesting and engaging, and hey, I hope I proved I could talk about this for hours. I know it was only three minutes, but I could probably go on for days, so I hope I gave a little glimpse of that. After doing this assignment, I feel like I'd like to improve on my storytelling skills. I've been told that I'm kind of a conversational person when it comes to like, maybe assignments or anything like this, which yes, that's a great thing, for conversations, but maybe not for something like storytelling or making a podcast. Sometimes you gotta take things on the more serious side. Overall, I think that the self-portrait recording went really well. I believe I was able to do what I needed to do, and cover what I needed to be covered. You know, outlines can be different for everyone, but I enjoy my personal strategy for mine, and I enjoy the way that I format mine. So, with all of that being said, I think that's all I have for today. Thank you guys so much for listening. I can't wait to hear about everyone else's outline strategies, and see you all next time.
