The host, Riley Moulton, is recording a podcast from a music school where they like to study. They enjoy the peaceful and beautiful environment and mention other favorite study spots, including two coffee places. They believe it's important to separate work and home and recommend not doing homework in the bedroom. They conclude by wishing everyone a great time studying and thanking the listeners. Hello, and welcome to Podcast Three. I'm your host, Riley Moulton, if you didn't know that already. And today, I'm coming to you live from the music school, actually, in Lincoln Park, which is kind of interesting, you know, considering I'm far from being a music student, I wish, but you know, that's not me. You know, although I do wish every day that my dream job as a kid of becoming the next biggest pop star, titled R-Star, came true, I honestly, I'm here at the music school today just to study instead of going there for classes. I, nope, that's not going to be me, I'm just studying today. As I did mention, though, I am at the music school to study, and you know, the way that I see studying at the music school, because I think it's one of those interesting places that some people forget about, is, you know, not only is it pretty, it has beautiful interior, and it's just such a good view, I'll see nobody that I know. So I can actually lock in and kind of fulfill my, like, quirky and mysterious studious girl dreams that I just, like, look out the huge windows, and that's what I'm doing as I record this, which is actually really cool. You know, although I am a chronic gatekeeper, the music school and then the loop library are probably my favorite places to study on campus. Decently peaceful, you know, not too noisy, but nonetheless, gorgeous. And you know, there's nothing like needing a rain break, and then just looking out the window to, like, an immaculate view. Like, the city view, it gets me every time. Since we're on the topic of study spots, some of my other favorite study spots that are off campus are the two coffee places, Blue Bottle, and then Dollop Coffee. Not only am I a coffee fanatic, I love me a good oat milk latte, literally any day I need one, please. I honestly, I just rave about these places, and the ambiance of them is perfect, and it's just everything I need for my assignments. Although yes, sometimes the coffee will get me through the study session, you know, sometimes you just gotta buy a $6 latte to get through the day. I think they're lovely places just to be an academic weapon in the city, and kind of fulfills a city girl aesthetic, in a way. You know, nonetheless, I'm not sure if anyone really needed some study spot recommendations today, but I'm full of them, and that is what my podcast ended up being about. Honestly, I think it's so important to separate work and home. I feel like you probably shouldn't do homework in your room, I believe there's been studies on this, I just don't think it's really good for you, because then like, say you do homework in your bed, like whenever you get into your bed, you're gonna be thinking about homework, not sleep, you know? So I think it's really important to separate those, and that's what kind of landed me into recording this in the beloved musical where I started off studying. So with that being said, that's honestly all I have for today. I hope everyone has a great time studying, if that's what you're doing right now, and thank you so much for listening, and I'll see you all next time! Bye!
