Be blessed by the mighty word of God The King James Version
Reverend Mary introduces herself and her ministry, emphasizing the importance of spreading love, kindness, and salvation. She quotes scriptures about entertaining strangers and being wise in dealing with evil. She mentions the parable of the Good Samaritan as an example of being a good neighbor. She encourages listeners to study the Bible and learn more about the Levites, priests, and Samaritans in relation to the children of Israel. An introduction, December 12, 2022. Hey folks, this is Reverend Mary coming to you in the holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. From Along The Way Ministries, this ministry was given to me by our Heavenly Father August 14, 2006. As a disciple of Christ, I am bound in the spirit of love and obedience to the will of God to go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. That scripture can be found in Matthew chapter 2 and 8, verse 19. For those of us who love Jesus, we know that there is a need for kindness, charity, brotherly love, compassion, even hospitality all over America. Amen? I hope we agree. Most of all, a need for deliverance, for salvation. Somewhere in this great nation, somebody needs to be set free. Amen. Glory to God. We can be a blessing one to another. Surely we can. I believe that. I study, preach, and teach from the ancient King James Version of the Bible. And it says, Be not forgetful to entertain strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels. Unawares, Hebrews 13, 2. And Matthew 10, 16 reminds us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. You know, we're plagued by an ever-changing world. There's evil in the hearts of more than a few. You know, we know that. But if we apply wisdom in all that we do, we'll be well. You want to have the heart and the mind of Christ to be able to discern between evil and good. May God's mercy and amazing grace abide with you. We want to be good neighbors to all that we can by the grace of God. For example, how about the parable of the Good Samaritan? This parable can be found in Luke, in our Holy Bible, 10, 25-37. This scripture is often referred to as the parable of the Good Samaritan. And I'm just going to go over it, you know, right quick. And please read it for yourself. It's just a menacious stereotyping by a country male. It's wonderful. It says that a man was traveling on the road from Jerusalem going down to Jericho. And while traveling, he was mugged by thieves. They stole his clothes and they wounded him. They almost killed him, as a matter of fact. There were other people traveling that same way. Well, eventually a priest passing by saw the man laying helplessly on the ground. He looked at him but chose to keep on his way. Then a Levite saw the wounded man. But he chose to pass, go to the other side of the road and keep right on going. But a certain Samaritan on his journey came to where he was. Saw him and had compassion on the wounded man. He began to dress the man's wounds, pouring in oil and wine. Set the man on his beast, took him to an inn, and simply took care of him. The next day before he left, he paid the innkeeper and told him, Take care of this man. If I did not give you enough money for his care, when I come back through, I will pay you what you spent. Well, the question is, which of these travelers was a good neighbor to this man? It all comes down to doing unto others as you would have them doing to you. Do me a favor. Find yourself some Bible study time. Look up the Levites, the priests, the Samaritans, in relation to the children of Israel. Just a little food for thought, okay?
