The speaker, Reverend Mary Palmer, from Along The Way Ministries, emphasizes the importance of being bound in Christ and obedient to God's will. She discusses the history of conflict and bondage, such as the Indian Wars and Civil War, and relates it to the bondage of the Israelites in Egypt. She encourages evangelism and missionary work, both abroad and in America. She stresses the need for unity, compassion, and prayer, and reminds listeners that change is possible through Jesus. She urges believers to stand against darkness and govern with love and righteousness. She emphasizes the power of prayer and the responsibility to do things according to God's will. This is your sister in Christ, Reverend Mary Palmer, coming to you once again from Along The Way Ministries. In the holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. I want to tell you folks that I'm happy to be with you once again. And I've got a great message. And as a disciple of Christ, I want you to know that I am bound in Christ. I am bound in the spirit of love and obedience to the will of God. To go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. That scripture can be found in Matthew chapter 2 and 8 verse 19. To God be the glory. It is so good to be with you once again. And I have a great message. Please be patient with me. And there is much understanding and much spiritual growth to be derived from this message that God sent on my heart. It's kind of different. But if you stick with me, if you stay with me, the meaning will become very, very prevalent. Spiritual warfare, the way to win. The good book says you live by the sword, you die by the sword. In the early days in this country, men, women, and children were slaughtered by others who crossed the sea. Landed on these shores designed to possess the land of the native people. And when you say the word native, you automatically know they were already here, right? Some tribes are extinct because they were killed, wiped out for their land. A man, you know, just won't, you just won't break down, he won't let you just break down his door. And, you know, come into his house and destroy what is rightfully his, what is rightfully his own without putting up a fight. And not just for the house, but mainly for the sake of his family. I believe down to the very depths of my soul that it could have gone in a more human direction if the approach had not been so arrogant and so godless, you know? And that was not in God's perfect will, I'm going to tell you that, people. Even God, our God said, come now, let us reason together, said the Lord. Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool, Isaiah 118. Folks, I'm going to ban the spirit. Thank you, Jesus. Now you stay close, people. We're going somewhere here. The land that we call the United States of America is marred and saturated with the blood of its inhabitants. They call that the Indian Wars. And one of the worst battles fought on American soil was called the Civil War. Imagine that. Brothers against brothers, Lord have mercy. Sons against their parents. Parents against their sons. For the simple fact that people want to be free and others want to be in control of other people. You know, when I think about the war between the North and the South, it reminds me of the bondage of the children of Israel when they no longer had any more allies because their generation died out. And the generation that came along the next one, well, down the line, they were cruel and lazy and thought more highly of themselves than they were worth. And, you know, Southern slave owners in America in that day and time were no different. In Egypt, they put taskmasters over the land of Goshen. The children of Israel were given that part of Egypt. Years before the days of the tyrants, Pharaoh of the current generation in time, so to speak, decided these Hebrews are going to work for us. We will put guards on them, put them to making brick, make the women, raise our children. And we will not spare the rod or the dungeons. They were slaves people in Egypt for over 4,000 years. I'm sorry, for over 400 years. Forgive this slip. I appreciate it if you would. Until their cries came up to heaven. God heard their cries and God sent them a champion. His name was Moses, a direct descendant of Hebrew by blood. Because the sword was not spared, the people of God took care of the tyrant's land, cleaned their houses. They were being held captive. They were no longer free. Some more bad history, folks. Let me tell you something about people. People, people, people. We are supposed to have the heart for evangelism, praise the Lord. The word has to go forth. Come on, Christian soldiers. That is the will of God. There are missionaries leaving home from all over the world, going to places all over the world, as we know, to be a blessing in every way conceivable. Showing their works, to show forth their faith by their works in the form of God's amazing grace, praise the Lord. Galatians 5.22 is this. But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering. Long-suffering means to allow with patience, praise the Lord. Gentleness, goodness, and faith. And the 23rd verse is meekness, temperance, and against such people, against such things. There is no law, saith the word of God. You know, we just need to have a charitable heart, some courage, you know, to help someone else find their way. Remember, once we were lost, we were lost. But now we're found because someone helped us find our way. And, you know, God will not fail, praise the Lord. He can't fail. That's the one thing he can't do. God cannot fail. Hallelujah. His plans will not fail, praise the Lord. If you are called to go, by all means, answer the call. God's grace will cover you. It's good to be obedient, people. We are not all called to leave America. But the need for missionaries in America is so needed. And, you know, charity begins at home. We have a responsibility to our children in this country. We have a responsibility to our church. We need to embrace one another, to lift up one another, to keep the prayers going up to the throne of grace for our leaders, glory to God. Everybody needs somebody. The Bible tells us to talk to one another, confess our sins one to another, not judgmental, praise the Lord, glory to God. To give one another, you know, just compassion and love, to always pray for one another. Listen, listen, listen. History is inevitable, people. As long as the world stands, it has to be made. When you think about those things that I have presented today, let's not see these terrible things happen again. Change is possible, praise the Lord. I know because I have not been the same since I truly surrendered to Jesus. All things are possible in Christ, church family, all things. And our way, our way does not work. We will fail every time without Jesus. We can take that to the bank, that is true. You know, I've been foolish, but I've learned Jesus is the light. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. He is the best thing that's ever happened to me, glory to God. Let me, in Christ, guided by the Holy Spirit, guided by that sweet spirit, show you the way. Come on, let's go. We know Jesus is our king, he's our government. People of God, hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. We are covered by God's grace. We will have trials and tribulations. We will experience witness in our flesh. We will see days when trouble will come. Have faith. Be of good cheer because you are about to find out for yourself why Jesus is so, so good. Praise the Lord. Why people are willing to follow him in this life and throughout eternity by faith. He is able to do what he said he will do. Yes, he is. He's able. No matter what this world throws at you, God is still God. He is still magnificent and holy. He is worthy to be praised. And if you ever want to confuse the enemy, if you ever want to do this, check this out. The enemy goes ahead. He does not hesitate to turn the light out on you. Remember that. To misguide you, to deceive you. Even worse things, every chance he gets, so disturb him. Throw him off course. Praise the Lord. Call on Jesus. Hallelujah. Just say Jesus. Hallelujah. Keep on saying Jesus. Hallelujah. Until you get happy. Until joy floods your soul. Praise the Lord. The enemy will tremble. He will leave you alone. He cannot stay in the presence of God's holiness. He cannot. Jesus, the name above all names. You know, the flesh is weak, but the spirit is strong. Come on, find your strength. Jesus is the way. You know, Jesus, he is our governor. We must not forget that. We are no longer bound by the darkness in the world. We have entered into God's marvelous light. People, this is a spiritual thing, you know. We are not worldly any longer, thanks be unto Jesus. We are the redeemed. We have been set free. Our chains are broken. We pray for the lost people. We witness every chance we get to those who are not yet free. So we have no part of the corruption in this world any longer. As disciples in Christ, we communicate Jesus to people. We embrace people with the love that is given to us in Christ. Hallelujah. We ask God to send his allies to those high places in the world's government so that the White House, for example, won't be ran by demonic principalities in high places. We aim to stop those who would operate through the powers of darkness. Amen? Yes. You know, there cannot be separation of anything on this planet, in this world, from the mighty, magnificent power of God. He cannot be deceived. That's good for us. That's good for us. If it's going to show forth the fruit of the Spirit and govern with love and righteousness, be the influence through prayer. Because people, prayer changes things. Beyond the shadow of a doubt, prayer changes things. The King James Bible says, So cry out to God. Your prayer will change the world. God takes care of his own. All the evil that has taken place in America on holy walls must teach us to do things according to God's will. We're supposed to change people. People, just because God allows things to happen that we do not understand, it does not mean that they were done in God's perfect will. We're not always in God's perfect will. And we ought to be thankful that God is so very patient with us. Come on, read your Bible. Have a relationship with the Father. He has given us freedom, free will, perfect liberty. And as we can discern, there are people who are chained in darkness and walk accordingly. So finally, brothers and sisters, here are instructions against evil. You go to chapter 6 in the book of Ephesians. And what you want to do, you want to read verse 17. Here we go. Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Hallelujah. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore, take unto you the whole armor of God that ye may be able to stand in the evil day and having done all to stand. Glory to God. Stand, therefore, having your Lord's good about the truth and having on the breastplate of righteousness and your feet shod with the preparation of the holy, of the gospel of peace. I'll read that again. And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, take the shield of faith, for with you shall be able to quench all the fiery dots of the wicked and take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. Glory, hallelujah. And verse, verse 24 says, Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. As men, our father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation. Deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. In Jesus' name we come. Amen and amen, saith the saints of God. God bless you people until our hearts meet again. In Jesus' name.
