A chemical plant in Ireland that produces Viagra is reportedly leaking fumes, causing men in the town to experience side effects. The chemical company denies the leak, but there has been an increase in the local wild dog population. Despite power surges affecting the radio station, they are still attempting to give away double passes to the Dubbo Show. The weather in Dubbo is expected to be sunny, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms later in the week. It's breakfast. I do. Coming up later this morning, your chance to grab another double pass to the Dubbo Show. Biggest event coming to town this weekend. All you've got to do is ring 6-884-84-99. I'll be asking you, what's gone wrong on a night out? When have things gone slightly sideways? There's a story from a pub where someone initiated a fight, but it did not go the way that you'd expect. 6-884-84-99. Later in the show this morning. Coming up in a few minutes, however, a chemical plant spill. Normally a terrible thing to hear. It's happened in a town in Ireland. But the reason and the purpose of this chemical plant makes the whole thing a bit suspicious. Justin Bieber first. It's 2FM Breakfast Wednesday morning. 20 past 6, 2FM Breakfast for your Wednesday morning. Top of 21 degrees today in Gilgandra, currently 9. Sunny today. Slight change expected tomorrow and into the weekend. Rain all the way through till Sunday. Fumes from a chemical plant. You know, it's a situation that would worry any nearby citizen. It would make you probably stand to attention. Stiffen up the rhetoric about the environment impacts. And, you know, harden the penalties for breaking laws. Especially if it was a Viagra processing plant next door. And that's exactly what's happened for a town in Ireland. Supposedly, the local chemical plant responsible for producing Viagra, a well-known pharmaceutical drug. That's all I'll say about it. It has been leaking chemical fumes right across the town. Men right across the town supposedly are reporting side effects of a very specific kind. Probably as much detail as I can provide. And the local bartender, Debbie, of the Ferry Boat Inn, she's quoted in the local paper here as saying, one whiff and you're stiff. Cheers, Debbie, that's brilliant. That is absolutely fantastic. The chemical company has come out in denial of the leak. However, a noticeable increase in the local wild dog population has been reported at the same time. Look, I probably, if I was in that town, I'd capitalise on it for tourism. You can make it the impotence capital of the world. Blush Life, it's your home at Dubbo's. Best music from the 80s to now. Keegan with you. Cheers for your company this morning. And then now for the most updated weather and five-day forecast for Dubbo and the Central West Zoo FM. We'll get to what just happened in just a brief moment. But first, going to be sunny across the region for your Wednesday. Top of 21 in Dubbo, 21 also in Cobar. Overnight to Thursday, low of 11 degrees. Top of 22, chance of showers in the afternoon. Friday, top of 16, chance of a thunderstorm. Saturday, top of 19, light showers in places but clearing up into the afternoon. And Sunday, top of 19 and cloudy. Currently 9 degrees in Dubbo, 8 degrees in Dunedoo, 11 in Trangie and 12 degrees in Cobar and further out west. Right, well, I'm not going to be able to play. OK, we're experiencing massive power surges currently in the radio station, which means I can't play the opener because the computer's just turned off in front of me. Coming up later on the show, considering we've got a brief few moments here to talk to each other while the computer reboots, your chance to score a double pass to the Dubbo show. I wonder if you can even still hear me. I don't know, we'll just keep talking to each other for now. Hello, Muz. It's just rebooted again. Having a lot of fun this morning. I don't know what's going on. I don't know either. I'm wondering if they can still hear me. I'll just keep talking to them for now. I can see you're off air and you'll know if you're on air. Oh, yes, I am. Yeah. All right. Well, I'm just going to try and replay what we were doing. If anyone is suffering major power surges at the moment across Dubbo, 6884 8499. Probably don't use a landline. I presume you may. That might be a dangerous idea. First, anyway, consider the computer's back. A little bit of music. Train, Wednesday morning. It's always great to have something sideways happen to start off the morning. It's Zoo FM. I used to love it. Trying to get the disco 7 o'clock Zoo FM breakfast jam at Dubbo's best music from the 80s to now. Test, test. Is the microphone on? Hopefully it is. Stopped at 21 degrees today. Never mind. Currently 9 degrees. Going to be sunny today. We're getting reports that people in East Dubbo currently don't have power and parts. Essential Energy has told us that they are currently working on a few issues in Northeast Dubbo, which could be the cause of the power spikes and the power blips that people are experiencing. The power blips and spikes are affecting us here in the radio station. We could go off at any moment. But we'll continue forward. If you're currently experiencing an outage or power issues, please report it to Essential Energy and we'll keep you updated as the morning goes ahead. You're on Zoo Breakfast. Zoo FM. Hello. Fancy speaking to you. It's breakfast on Zoo. Still going to attempt to give away those Dubbo show double passes this morning. We're just going to see if we're currently running on a reliable electricity supply because if I attempt to speak to you on the phone and then the power goes out, not entirely going to go well. Supposedly Essential Energy has said that there was an unknown fault in Dubbo this morning and they have been attempting to isolate it throughout the morning, which has caused the various power surges that you may have experienced, a few flickering lights this morning. It has affected our systems here in the radio station quite adversely. We've been enjoying some lovely music for the last two hours or so. Feel the Irish. Bad guy. It's your home of Dubbo's best music from the 80s to now for your Wednesday morning. DJ Snake, Justin Bieber. It's Zoo FM. Breakfast for your Wednesday morning, quarter past eight. Top of 21 degrees today in Wellington. Currently about 11.5. Pauline, what's up? Seeing you're back online now. So I was going to see if you're giving away any tickets. We're going to attempt to. However, if the power goes out, which it's like a game of rolling a dice, we're not too sure if it will yet. So we're going to attempt to this morning. What would you like to see at the show this weekend if you got the tickets? The animals. I love the animals. Oh, the animals are always good fun. They're a bit smelly, but they are good fun. Yeah, no, they're cute. Cheers for the call this morning. Okay, thanks. Let me see. You're waking up with a Central West burst breaking. On 92.7 Zoo. Break. The lights are still flickering in the studio occasionally, and I'm worried that either the place is now haunted or there's still electricity problems somewhere in Dubbo. But we'll try and get these away next. The Dubbo show double pass. If you want to go to the show, the biggest event this weekend, 6884 8499 is the phone number. Not yet. Someone's already ringing. Not yet. Next. Next. Next is the key word here. First, Rob Thomas, Mockingbird. 25 minutes to 9 on your home of Dubbo's best music from the 80s to now. Ed Sheeran, American Sound is Dubbo's best music from the 80s to now. Quarter to nine. It's going to be sunny today. Top of 21 in Dubbo and Cobar. You're on Zoo's breakfast. Alison, what are you up to this morning? I'm just driving to work very safely. No phone in hand. Oh, of course. Yes, yes, of course. That's all right. I'm not a law enforcement officer, so you should be fine. Awesome. I'm not planning on running up fines this morning. I need to ask you, Alison, do you know how to do an exorcism? Um, I've watched a lot of horror movies, so I could give it a go. Okay. I think we may need one shortly in the radio station there. It appears to be a ghost playing with the power. I've been listening on and off since about six o'clock. What is this 80s drivel that is just going on and on? And then you popped in for a little while, and then the news stopped. I'm going back to Eurovision. Oh, you've heard all of it. You've heard it all. That was a brilliant summarisation. Yeah. Oh, fantastic. If you were to head to the show this weekend, what would you like to see? Probably the horsies. I like watching the, what's it called, the high jump, like it's when they keep getting higher and higher over there. Is the technical term for that some sort of equestrian display, or am I thinking of a different thing? No, it's a specific, I can't think. It's morning. And probably the ferris wheel. That's pretty fun to look at and go on. Brilliant. Well, the double pass is yours. Oh, awesome. Thank you. If you want to grab tickets for yourself right now, you can just chuck dubboshow123tix into Google. It'll come up. Otherwise, keep listening. All week, we've got heaps still to give away, especially after not being able to give them all away this morning. If you'd like to see what's coming up at the Dubbo Show this weekend, head over to their Facebook page or their website, dubboshow.org. You're on serious breakfast.
