The speaker, Angie, is a licensed professional counselor and addiction counselor with over 20 years of experience. She offers weekly reflections to support individuals during their healing journey. Grief is a common yet personal experience, and Angie's reflections aim to make people feel less alone. Some days, even simple tasks like getting out of bed or taking a breath can feel overwhelming. Grief is like a fragile bridge between the past and the future, and it's normal to not want to be on that bridge. Angie reassures listeners that they are not alone and that there is no right way to grieve. She hopes her reflections can provide the support needed for each person's grief journey. Welcome, I am Angie, a licensed professional counselor and licensed addiction counselor with more than 20 years of supporting others. These weekly reflections are to support you during your healing journey. Grief can be the loneliest feeling. It is a shared human experience and at the same time unique to each of us for whatever it is we are grieving. These reflections are created with the hope of helping you feel less alone no matter where you are in your grief journey. Some days just getting out of bed can feel impossible, while other days merely taking a deep breath can feel like a chore. Grief can be a rickety bridge from what was to what possibilities lie ahead, and more often than not, we never wanted to get on that shaky bridge in the first place. You are not alone. There is no one right way to grieve. I hope these reflections support you just in the way that you need on your grief journey. Thank you for listening.
