The Murcian dialect is spoken in southern Spain. It is different from the northern Spanish dialect spoken by people in the north. This is because the southern region has more influence from Andalusia, which was occupied by Muslims in the past. On the other hand, Argentine Spanish is spoken in South America due to the colonies established by Columbus. El murciano se habla en el sur de España, y aunque esté en España no se habla el español tan septentrional que hablan los españoles del norte, porque estar en el sur tiene más influencia andalucina de cuando los musulmanes ocuparon la península ibérica. En cambio, el argentino se habla en Sudamérica, por las colonias que Colón llevó hasta allá.
