The host, Princess Iszavor, introduces herself and explains how she came up with the name for her podcast, Daydreaming Again. She talks about her random thoughts and creative ideas that led her to start the podcast. She also mentions the questions she asked her audience and the responses she received, including suggestions for top-ranked lectures, anything, life story, going off topic, and drugs. She concludes by thanking her listeners and inviting them to follow her on Instagram. Hello, and welcome everyone to the very first episode of Daydreaming Again. I'm your host, Princess Iszavor. Today, I'm going to start off by introducing myself, which I've already done, what I'll be talking about, and some other stuff. But anyways, let me not waste any more of your time. So I'm going to start off by giving a Q&A of questions I composed myself, because I was too lazy to ask people questions of questions that they would like to see answered, like I was actually literally lazy, I wasn't going to put up like a poll on Instagram, like, what questions do you want to see? So let me not get distracted anymore. You're all probably wondering why and how I came up with the name of this podcast. As the name suggests, I was in daydreaming when I actually thought of the idea of a podcast. I had no name when I even started planning out my podcast. And like, it reminds me of the time I had a half dream. Do you know those dreams that you have like, when you're not necessarily asleep, but you're like, kind of like resting, you know, just on your pillow or whatever. And you're just kind of like, yeah, I don't know, you're just nearly about to dream. But anyways, like, I had a half dream of getting an anchor tattoo on my foot. I know, a girl can dream, but um, not that I'll actually get an anchor tattoo, but at the time, it literally had no meaning as well, just like the way my podcast had no name, the thought of an anchor tattoo had literally no meaning. But now I realized, it represents like, being grounded, which I'm not all the time, so hopefully it does give me some ease. But another question I asked myself was, why I started a podcast? Well, it was an idea I had in sixth year of secondary school, believe it or not. But at the time, like, I was in art class, when as usual, I was actually daydreaming, which we're not supposed to be doing, because it's not part of the curriculum, but I still did it anyways. Like, like, it was just so random, like, it was so random, like, just some of the thoughts that I have, you know, like, you know, you just be sitting down thinking of anything and like, you know, your mind just wanders and sometimes I actually wonder what goes on inside my head. At the time, my thoughts were actually quite creative, I'm not gonna lie, I mean, it was art class, so, art class is all about creativity, isn't daydreaming creative? I don't know. You tell me. Anyways, for the next questions, I wasn't too lazy to ask questions, so I made an Instagram poll and asked what you guys would like to see. Don't worry, that was a rhetorical question of a non-rhetorical question, I'm obviously talking about what you want to see on the podcast, whether it's about science, technology, me doing my strong Nigerian accent as usual, you guys can probably tell because I have a hint of it, so, I'm not Irish, that's another thing we'll talk about another day, you name it anyways, like, anything you guys want, I got it all here, as long as it's appropriate. Realistically, it's not gonna be PG, I don't see that happening, because people always say, oh, this movie's PG or whatever, but then there's little hints and snippets of inappropriate stuff that goes on in the background, but when you're a child, you just never know. And I'm getting distracted again. Let me get onto the replies that everybody put before I literally lose it again. But I'm gonna leave them anonymous, because I don't know if the people would be comfortable with me putting their names or whatever, but I mean, I did state in it that what you guys were gonna like to see in the podcast, so, if you don't want your name to be seen, then just don't respond. But anyways, my first response was top-ranked lectures. Like, top-ranked lectures in Ireland? I don't know. Maybe? Second question I received was anything. Which is the only thing, personally, I don't know, is anything. But I'm not gonna lie, that response kind of had me lost there. I was like, anything? Anything what? Like, can you elaborate, honey? Like, so I can know. Because anything could be anything. My third response was life story. Now, I would need to make a docuseries about that, because that would, like, I don't know if that would fit in all of one podcast. I mean, like, I'm not gonna spend an hour talking about my life. Anyways, another response I received was you going off topic, which I already did just there. When I first read that response, anyways, I thought it was, like, a colloquial grammar error. My response was, okay. And I actually responded to the person, she's actually one of my friends, and I said to her that, no, what would you like to see? I thought she was trying to say you're going off topic, not you going off topic. And I literally took that so literal, and I was like, what? But anyways, my final response from another one of my friends, actually, was drugs and that, which I don't already do. But do you want to know how to make drugs? Because, I mean, I study science, but, like, I'm hardly gonna be cooking crystal methamphetamine inside of that. That's not the reason why I'm studying it. All of these questions have me asking questions of these questions. I guess I'm more confusing than I thought, anyways. Yeah, but that brings us to the end of this, I was about to say the end of this lecture. No, it's not a lecture. But anyways, thank you all for tuning in today and listening to the very first episode of Daydreaming Again. I hope you all enjoyed. I would have never expected in a million years to reach this confidence to start a podcast, not gonna lie. If you guys are interested in seeing any more of my random content, you can follow me on Instagram at Now I'll Take Both. If you don't like my content, then that's on you. You don't have to listen.
