Tennessee won the Orange Bowl against Clemson. The host is happy to see Dabo Swinney frustrated. They discuss the strong performance of Tennessee's defense and the resilience they have shown throughout the season. They also mention standout players like Beasley and Joey Milton. They express hope for improvement in certain areas, like the secondary, and praise Milton's potential. What it do, what it do, Power T podcast baby, let's go, it's episode 5 today, shout out to Hendon Hooker baby, number 5, special day for 5 yesterday, Tennessee are the Orange Bull champions for 2022, let's go baby, beat Clemson 31-14 in a really good fashion man, it was just an all around good football game from start to finish, I love seeing Dabo sweat like that, I mean he was, that was like my main focus last night, anytime I could just get my eyes on Dabo and just kind of just picture what might be going through his mind while we're beating the dog brakes off of him, dude it was just, it was awesome, he was frustrated, I mean did you see how much he was sweating, and it took me back to whenever he made those comments after Tennessee lost to South Carolina and they had their game with obviously with South Carolina the next week, he was assed about it, we talked about it on the podcast, yeah he obviously had a lot to say about Tennessee, he had a lot to say, he didn't really say Tennessee of course, but we know who the hell he was talking about, yeah, but anyways, they go and lose that game, then we get a chance and whoop their ass in that bowl game, and you're talking about like a really good game for recruiting, like once again, like I know that we've already had those recruit type games this year with Bama, LSU, beating Kentucky at home like that on a big stage, I really think that beating Clemson soundly like we did, I mean we were underdogs, people didn't think that Tennessee was going to win, a lot of people were asking who the hell was going to be playing for us, like I know Clemson was pretty much in the same position, but they had guys on the D line, the D line is still a very good D line, K Club mix in the athlete, but Tennessee just played ball last night, man, and that's just like, I feel like we keep going back to the same thing, saying the same thing over and over, like this team is just different because they're a four quarter team, we don't just play the first and the third quarter, man, we play every quarter, we make plays, we score, we put on more steam, and we beat the shit out of people, and that's the difference in this team. I think the biggest takeaway for me was that, okay, we are set up for the future, this coaching staff can scheme, even though we're missing, I would say around 75% of our offense with no hooker, Hyatt, Tillman, we still went out there, we got stagnant at times, but we scored when it mattered, Milton made some big throws, we out-coached Dabo by far, and how about the defense? The defense stepped up, everybody wanted to talk about the opt-outs on offense, but we were missing Jeremy Banks, we were missing Brandon Furnish, we were missing one other DB that had a lot of repetition this year, but that defense went out there and played ball. They scored one touchdown, they had a lot of yards, it was kind of the same story as the whole year, they got up and down the field, but when they got around the red zone, we stopped them. And that's what Klugnick said in his post-game, when they were asking him about the point situation, he admitted, which they did, of course this defense does give up the play that they don't need to sometimes still, and I think that's what's really going to change in the offseason, I think that's going to be a big focal point for the defense and the whole staff, but Crimson was able to move the ball down the field, they had some pretty good drives, they had effective drives, they made some pretty good plays, granted we don't have the best secondary in the country, but they do play ball together, that's for sure, and then when it came time to make stops, they got off the field and get the ball back into Joey Milton's hands. I think that Crimson might have ran more plays in our territory than we did for the whole game. It seemed like they were on our side of the 50-yard line the entire game, but when we had to, we got off the field. We played well on third down. And that's what this team, that's what this defense has done all year. I mean, say what you want about the South Carolina game, of course we let up 49 to Alabama, but that's Bryce Young, dude, that's the best college football player in the country. So I mean, this team all year, you saw it at Pittsburgh, dude, I mean at Pittsburgh they were resilient. I mean, fourth down stops, dude, and coming up with those big plays, like those interceptions in the end zone that we had, sending eight guys on third down and three in overtime when they're on the 17-yard line and we get a sack, the quarterback goes back, you know, almost 20 yards. Like, that type of aggressiveness has just shown over the course of the season that this defense is resilient. They're bent, but don't break. Yeah, man, we're going to hit your quarterback. You're going to feel it. You're going to get the shit out of your quarterback. There might be some receivers open downfield, but you better be able to take a hit. Club hit the jersey. Yeah, he had a green jersey last night. It was green. It was green. It wasn't white anymore. The entire thing was green, dude. We're going to hit the shit out of your quarterback. We hit Bryce Young. We hit Jalen Daniels. Is Jalen Daniels from LSU correct? Jaden Daniels. Jalen Daniels is Kansas. Both of Pitt's quarterbacks were limping off the field. Oh, dude. We were hitting the third one, too. The third one was the guy who took that hit in overtime. But we got dogs on the defensive side of the football. Wesley Walker is probably going to be one of my favorite guys to watch, and right now it's definitely Beasley. Like, last night, that dude right there had a monster night. I don't really know his stats. Beasley last night. Twelve tackles. Dude, that's insane. Ten solos. He had two sacks and four tackles for loss. I mean, that's an outstanding game, and don't sleep on solid pages of paper. He's already got ten tackles last night. That was... He was all over the place. Hadden... Hadden had none, and Hadden actually... I said we weren't going to talk about him. He was actually going to be a note for this. Well, let me just tell you why Hadden had none tackles. It's because any time a receiver's running his way, they're wide freaking open. And I'm sorry. Like, you know, I know these kids are giving their all for Tennessee, but Kamal Hadden is just not it. We've got to find a replacement, whether that's one of the four or five freshman DVU's or one of the four or five senior DVU's. We've got to find a replacement. He's just... It's an attitude that it doesn't look like he's trying to fix it. You know what I mean? Yeah. But away from the defensive side of the football, let's talk about Mr. Joey Rocket on the defensive side of the football. I mean, he's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. He's a great guy. Let's work in the offseason. Let's raise that football IQ a little bit. Let's get him to where Hendon was on the field to where he can operate and run the whole entire offense. Quick decisions. Make the quick decisions. Make them efficiently like Hendon did. Through this, I'm glad to have Joe Millen right now. Oh, yeah. I mean, if there's one person on this team that I would like to see succeed, it's Joe. And that's because he came here. He was supposed to be the guy. He lost his job to Hendon. He could have easily transferred. Most people leave. Most guys in his position leave. 1,000%. But he stuck it out. He was the best teammate to Hendon Hooker. They became best friends. I mean, Joe was the first one to come congratulate Hooker after every single touchdown pass. Everything Hooker did right, Milton was right there. And that's the thing. He doesn't even have to be Joe Burrow. He doesn't have to be Vince Young or Michael Vick. He doesn't have to be that quarterback. What he does right now, being around everybody on our team loves the guy. He's a great leader. He's going to be a great leader. And people want to play for him. You know what I mean? I would want to run routes for that guy because he works his ass off. Whether he's a Heisman candidate or not, eventually the team's going to form around that type of positivity that he brings. And, dude, I think the sky's the limit for Joe. It is. He has all of the talent. He has all of the natural ability in the world. And I'll be the first to admit that, you know, before last night I was not thinking that he was the guy at all. I had doubts. I had major doubts. And I still do to some degree have doubts. But he showed me last night that he could go win a football game against a good team in a high leverage situation. I know it was a ball game with some opt-outs, but Clemson wanted to win that game. They had their freshman quarterback in. That was a big game for them. They wanted to get him rolling. Nobody doesn't not care about the Orange Bowl. Well, I'm saying especially for them. I mean, they had some incentive to get a little momentum going into next year. It's a big recruiting game, too. I mean, yeah. It is. It shows a lot for recruits. It's a nice little showing of what's to come in the future. Absolutely. Dude, I'm fucking pumped. I want to talk about those receivers for a little bit, too, man. You have Squirrel White out there just balling out. Non-receptions, 108 yards. He had a touchdown. You had Rommel Keeton, four catches for 76. That guy's just been a rock all year. The thing I'm so excited about these receivers, dude, they all look like first-ring receivers. The way that they go out and play and, like, the catches. Like, dude, it's probably not that easy to catch a pass from Joe Milton. No, it's not. While you're running a slant over the middle, back in the end zone, got to be aware of where you're at in the end zone, first off. Could have a safety cracking down on top of you. Don't know. And then you've got to catch this 100-mile-an-hour football. It's big and full of air. It leaves a four-inch gash in your hand. Dude, when he holds the football, you know, like at the high school games when they used to throw the little plastic footballs up into the crowd? Yeah. That's what his hand looks like on a football. He's a mammoth. But, like I said, dude, these receivers, man, like, they really impress me. And the fact that we have Brew coming back next year, Rommel the dog, Squirrel has shown nothing but good things, like, just really promising for him. I have a hot take about Brew McCoy. He will be an All-American next year. Dude, his route running is crisp, and when he catches the football. He was that silent assassin for us this year. He was a silent assassin in my opinion. And he was hurt all year. Let him get healthy. Let him have another year in this offense. I'm telling you he's going to have a breakout year. He catches that ball, and it's going to take one, two, three people to bring him down. He reminds me a little bit of Juwan. He's a little faster than Juwan. I've said that a couple times this year. He's Juwan 2.0. Yeah, absolutely. Just like Juwan Jones. And I'm so excited about Squirrel White. He'll have a breakout season. That man will be highly involved in our offense next year, 100%. I do think we go to the portal, trying to land a pretty good receiver, too. I think we need a little more depth there. We do have a couple of good freshmen, but they never really saw the field this year. So, I would look for a pickup on that end as well. Yeah, and with the recruiting trail, I wanted to talk a little bit about recruiting, too, before we get into college football playoff picks for today. This recruiting trail, man, holy cow. Like, you know, we're not number one. We're not signing all five stars, but damn it, we've got them. You know what I mean? And top ten talent and recruiting is top ten talent. You don't need – in my opinion, stars, that shit doesn't matter to me. I mean, it was a clear example at Texas A&M last year. You know, ratings coming out of high school, you know, it is – it does mean a little bit, but that does not transfer over to the college level. What recruiting is, is what is your eval? What is our coaching staff's eval on these players? How do they fit in our offense? And what are your needs? And, you know, obviously the secondary was a big cause for concern this year. So, all we did is go sign five, I believe, really good defensive backs. You know, we have – let's see, Jordan Matthews, I think, will probably headline the DBs. He's a corner out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. So, we go in there and dip one from LSU. But there's a lot of good defensive backs in this class. Ricky Gibson, I think he's going to be a stud. Then there's a few more, obviously. But this recruiting class, I thought, was very well put together. We got the headliner in Nico Iamaliaba. Yes. And a lot of good defensive players. And I think that's probably what surprised me the most. A lot of people, when Josh Heifel came in, they were like, okay, he's got an offense. He's going to recruit some good offensive players, but what about defense? And he showed us in this class that he can go pull some really good defensive talent and super impressive offense. And Hobbs. Hobbs was a huge pickup. Yeah. David Hobbs. Showed him from a couple of big schools. He's the number one player in the state of Tennessee. He's an edge out of Murfreesboro. Caleb Herring. There is another guy, Leacock. Nathan Leacock, the receiver from, I think it was Raleigh. Yeah, over from North Carolina. Dude, watch out for Nathan Leacock, man. I'm telling you right now, watch the little film on this guy. And sheesh, an athlete. He can go up and get the ball. I'm talking about an athlete. A big one-receiver type guy out on the edge that can run that go route for Joey. Jeez, man, I'm telling you right now, it's a lot of promising looks for the future. I'm really excited about Ethan Davis as well. He's a tight end out of Suwannee, Georgia. He's just a go-getter. He catches the ball and he's fast. I think he'll do really well in this offense. Another big pickup, I think this is, yeah. Arian Carter, I mean, we went head-to-head with Alabama. He was Alabama. Ohio State. Yeah, Ohio State as well. But he was an Alabama lean for a long time. And Josh Heupel. Was a fan growing up, too, I believe. Yes. He was an Alabama fan growing up. He made that a good point, too. He wanted to play for Alabama. But Josh Heupel took over this recruitment himself, and he was able to land Arian Carter late in the signing period. That's scary. That's scary right there how good Heupel can recruit somebody like that. Yeah, absolutely. I mean, you're talking about a guy, I mean, like us. Like, you've been growing up your entire life. Tennessee fan. You love Tennessee. And then, you know, Josh Heupel comes from Alabama and says, you know, you're going to shine here. And then you go to Alabama. Like, that's pretty wild. Like, you know, it's special, man. Josh Heupel knows what he's doing. I'm excited about it. Not only in the recruiting trail, but with the transfer portal. Yep. I don't know if we can pull up a list of some transfer portal guys. I know we got the kicker. He's coming back home from Indiana. He's a Memphis native, I think. Yep. Which I can't remember his name for the life of me. Charles Campbell. Yeah, that's it. Campbell. From Indiana. The biggest one that I'm excited about is Peely from BYU. Yeah, I think he'll be a big pickup for that linebacker. Somebody that we absolutely needed in that position, too. Lucy Banks. He'll be able to stand beside Aaron Beasley. Beasley, I think that will be a really, really good combination to have in the middle right there. So, yeah, dude, we could go all day talking about how exciting this recruiting is and transfer portal stuff. I know it's all weird and stuff nowadays, but there's a lot of good that comes out of it more than bad, in my opinion. Absolutely. And just to round out the transfers, we did get so Tackle is kind of a position of need with Thornell Wright leaving, so we went and got Andres Carrick from Texas. So, I mean, I've heard some people say that he might kind of end up being a guard, but I like him at Tackle. He's 6'4", 296. I mean, that would be a pretty big guard. We also got a Juco guy. I can't think of his name right now, but he's really big and he projects as a Tackle. We got McAllen Castles from IUC, I believe, a small school in California. He had a monster season. He's 6'5", 230 and tight end is obviously a position of need. Keenan Peely from Provo, Utah, from BYU. I think that was an absolutely huge pickup. Huge pickup, dude. I've seen the video of him, like, pushing people on the sidelines. Yeah. Well, he was their team captain. He was their leader in Tackles. It's a guy that comes with a lot of experience. I hate to say this, but it reminds me of, like, a Toto type thing. Like, he kind of plays that same role as that douchebag does. He's Samoan as well. It never hurts to have a Samoan on your team because those guys definitely follow each other. And it would be nice to have a Samoan pipeline coming into Tennessee. There are a lot of good Samoan players that represent their community really well. I think that's super cool. Well, you know they actually, Samoans, in their culture, wrestle bears. I love that. If you can wrestle a bear, you can knock the shit out of a running back. I don't know anything about the Samoan culture, so don't ever think that that's, like, a stab at anything. They got some pretty cool war chants. I'll say that. That they do. I wish I could. I'm going to learn that one day. I'm just going to do it. I'm just going to come home and I'm going to just walk into the living room in front of my wife and I'm going to do it. I'm just going to scare the shit out of her. Love it. Man, so we'll just wrap up the Tennessee stuff, man. Go fucking Big Orange. 11-2. First time we've seen 11 wins since we weren't, like, shitting our pants. Yeah, this is the first 11-win season since 2001. I mean, I think you can say Tennessee's back. Tennessee's back. Let's keep it going, baby. What a year. What a year. I mean, we could sit here and talk for three hours. As much as that hurts your ears to hear it, Tennessee's back. Go ahead and sign it, stamp it, put it in the fucking mailbox. Mailman's going to pick it up, take it to the post office because we're back. Stamp it. I do think that we should have a podcast where we just kind of review the entire year because it was such an incredible year. I do. Yeah, we're definitely going to do that. I'm even down to do it after all the playoffs and stuff's over. I just want to go back, yeah, exactly what you just said. Let's pretty much just do a season recap. There was so much good stuff that happened this year. I went to the Pittsburgh game. I've got some stories from that. Jay was at the Florida game. And then, you know, we partied here and we damn near tore his house down for the Bama game. Great night. My boy got married on the day of the LSU game, so we all got to hang out in there and watch that together. Dude, we're just going to recap the entire season and just relive it, man. I even had trouble going back and, like, watching. While I'm at work, I work long hours during the day. What I do sometimes requires a little sitting around. So I like to, like, rewatch old Tennessee games. And I find it difficult sometimes to go back and watch Florida and watch Bama and LSU because, like, those times were so high for me. And it's not the same now, of course, with, you know, with Hinton going down and us not getting the chance to play in the playoffs. And what could have been at that point is what I was feeling when I'm watching those again. So it's, like, hard for me to go back. It's emotional in a way, you know. It's tough to see that 78-yard touchdown pass to Jaylen for his fourth time against Bama because it was the happy – dude, it was literally other than finding out I'm becoming a father, it was literally the happiest day of my life. And I found out I was a dad the day we beat LSU. So it was a great day. But, yeah, man, let's just recap this season. So before we end the Tennessee talk, I just would like to, you know, I would like to push everyone to go read Hinton Hooker's Thank You Tennessee article, and that's on the Players' Tribune. You can find that. And grab a box of tissues. Yeah. I'm going to miss that guy. Hinton did so much for the program. He was a great quarterback, but an even better person. Just go read that. He loves Tennessee, and we love him. So go Vols. It was a great season. Now let's get into some playoff picks. Get into some playoff picks. So today, right now, we're watching a little Kansas State-Alabama on the side. I have Kansas State plus 7.5. My man Jayrock's on the other end of them. What do you have? I have – yeah, I took Bama minus 5.5 earlier in the week when I heard that Bryce Young and Will Henderson were going to play. I just went ahead and did that. But they're playing them close. Kansas State is driving right now. But let's go ahead and talk a little bit about some playoffs, man. Today's the day. We got some pretty exciting football. I think both of these games have potential, man. We might see some really classical football today. Something crazy is going to happen. I've just got a feeling. Starting with Georgia TCU. The two and the three. Michigan TCU. I'm sorry, yeah. Michigan and TCU, the two and the three. Michigan's a 7.5 point favorite. I love, love, love TCU with the points. Absolutely. That was my hot take yesterday, and I'm riding with it. We're Max Duggan fans now. We're Max Duggan fans, dude. We didn't like him, like we said in the last podcast, because he was in the way of Hendon. TCU was in the way of Tennessee. So, we kind of had that little, like, get out of here. You're annoying like a fly. But they didn't. I'm a Max Duggan fan. Give me a Max Duggan jersey. Yeah, and this game, I think, has potential to be really good. If TCU can play with them in the first half, it will be a good game. I say definitely give me TCU and the points, but maybe sprinkle a little bit on that money line, and I'm going to tell you why. TCU has magic. They have something about that program, something about that team. First year head coach, Max Duggan, something about that team is magic. If they fall behind, they find a way to get back in the game. Yeah, just look at their track record from their record of the season. Like, go back and look at the box score of each game. Never count them out. And this Michigan team is good, but I've seen them play some pretty terrible football games this year. Outside of the Ohio State game, they did not impress me at all. They didn't impress me at Ohio State. Yeah. They didn't really impress me there. Like I told you, they just made a couple big plays when it was time to make those plays, and Ohio State didn't show up, which Ohio State, you better show up tonight. Yeah. Which I think they will. So we'll get into that in a second, though. But TCU, man, we talked about it last week, and you just said it again. They're magical. This is a team that can be dangerous. They're hungry right now, but what I really like about it is they're confident-ass coach, too. This guy will sit there and talk to you, and he has this look on his face like, you know, I'm a good person. TCU, you know, we're good people and all that, but when we get on the field, we will fuck you up. And he's just got a really good mentality, and when you got somebody who plays as hard as Max Duggan does at quarterback, man, they've got big-time receivers that can catch the ball downfield. I don't really know how well Michigan's secondary is. I don't think they're, like, the best in the country. I know that they play some pretty good-sounding football. Yeah. But everybody does against Indiana. Yeah, exactly. And don't get me wrong, I think Michigan's a really good football team. Absolutely. They're number two for a reason. They're 100%. They have a great football team. They're very well-coached. They're sound. They're disciplined. But I just – A healthy Tennessee team beats the shit out of them. Yeah, exactly. I just see TCU. They're happy to be there. They're thrilled to be there. They're not going to go out there and lay an egg. And I may have to eat crow on this one, but I'm huge today on TCU. I've got – I've actually – I have them 7.5 and a poor lay, plus 7.5. And I'm actually going to – I'm going to go ahead and sprinkle Moneyline as well. Yep. I got them just a straight bet, plus 7.5. But, I mean, this game, it could really go either way, man. It's got the potential to be like a 21-point game, and it's got the potential to be an overtime game. Yep. I just – I really think that both of these – I think there's a better chance of both of these teams in this game showing up and playing than there is in tonight's game. I kind of feel like tonight's game somebody's not going to show up. I agree. I agree. And also, Michigan's losing – doesn't have their best player. So, what effect does that have on them? That could come into – you know, that could come into play for, you know, a big way for TCU. So, we'll see how things go, man. But, like I said, I'm riding TCU, plus 7.5 with the points. And I got a little bit on the Moneyline. Yeah. Go Frogs. Go Frogs, baby. This morning, I swear my wife said porn frogs. She says she didn't say it, but she said porn frogs. Well, there you go. I mean, that's even more reason to ride TCU, so. Yeah, she's the kind of girl that will ask why don't they ever trip over that yellow line on the field, the first down line. That's her. That's who I married. But I love her to death, and she's having my child, so I love her. Absolutely. So, tonight we got – The big one. The big one that everybody's excited about. I know my brother – shout out, Coco. This is a big day for him. I've already been over to the house this morning, and he's got – dude, the entire living room is Ohio State. He's got all the flags up, the helmets up, the TV's ready, the couch is, like, pushed back in a line to, like, where everybody can sit in a U-shape around the TV. This one's going to be fun, son. So, we got Georgia at – I think it's 5.5 on Fandul. Dang. So, it's dropping. It has been dropping. My brother just texted me, like, about an hour ago, telling me that it's dropped another point. That means that the big money, the Sharps, are pounding Ohio State this morning. They are. And I have – I caught Ohio State at 6.5 this morning. So, you got them at plus 6.5? Plus 6.5, Ohio State. I'm going to stay away from Moneyline. I'm not confident on their Moneyline, but I will take Ohio State in the points. I'm not taking anything away from Georgia either. I think Georgia can win this game by 22 points, just as much as they can win by two points. So – but the reason I'm riding with Ohio State is, if you look at Ohio State's track record, it hasn't been that much lately because they've been very dominant over Michigan, but they have been super dominant coming off a loss to Michigan in their past three games. They won all three of their last games after a loss to Michigan by, I think it was a combined score of, like, 16 points. Yeah. I'm riding with Ohio State. I think they're going to have a chip on their shoulder coming in. People are calling them soft. They can't stop the run. They can't stop the pass. Stroud's not as good as people think. Smith and the Jigbas are going to be a pretty big problem, in my opinion, than not having him, which I think is a pretty selfish move on my – in my opinion. I don't like players sitting out. And the playoffs. For the reason that, you know, you played that season. You went to college. You worked all offseason to get to that point. Why the hell would you not play in the game? I get it. And, like, you know, Hyatt's sitting out in the Orange Bowl. Yeah, mama needs a house and, you know, all that stuff. This is the college football playoff, though. Why are you playing this sport? Yeah. You playing this sport for the dollars? Or, you know, when you started playing when you were seven, I bet you didn't want to, you know, you didn't want to get paid to play football. You just – I just want to go play football because I love it. Anyway, I could get carried away on that all day, too. So, yeah, I want to know your take on this game. So, I mean, there's no doubt that Ohio State is going to have something to prove. They're going to have a chip on their shoulder. Cooper has an itch. Yeah, my dog's over there. Hey, stop. Sorry about that guy. You're good. You're good. Yeah, no doubt about it. Ohio State definitely has something to prove. They have a chip on their shoulder. I do think they're going to come out swinging. I think they're going to come out firing. I think they're going to hit on some big plays. And I hope they do because fuck Georgia. Dude, I would love nothing more than to see Georgia walk out there with all their hype in their own state and get that ass whooped. With that being said, I don't see it happening. And for no other reason than that defense can be suffocating. Whenever that team clicks, whenever they give one team every single bit of their attention, similar to what they did against Tennessee, they just have a different gear. And I can see them playing that way today. I do think there's a – I think it's a really good game. I think it's a possibility that it's going to be a one-possession game. I think that it's a possibility Ohio State could win. But if I had to pick, which I still haven't made a pick myself yet because I'm really – I'm going back and forth on it. But if you put a gun to my head and told me I had to make a pick right now, especially where the line's falling to five, it's scary because, I mean, there's a lot of money coming on Ohio State. I'm still going to have to go Georgia minus five. I can see this being a seven- to ten-point game. That's where I'm going with it. A really good defense, Stetson Bennett knows how to run that offense. They have a good running game. They can hit the deep ball. I'm taking Georgia. So, I mean, I can't say that I disagree at all. Everything you say is pretty much on point. But can I make this abundantly clear? I hope Georgia gets that ad. No, I really do. And it's crazy to me – and me and my brother have argued about this. Of course, he's an Ohio State fan, a big Big Ten guy. We've argued about it recently and it's not SEC, SEC, SEC. Oh, no, not with us. We're Tennessee fans. We're Tennessee fans. So, when Georgia lines up against Ohio State, don't for a second think that I'm going to smirk and stuff and say that SEC is better. I might joke around and, you know, SEC, SEC, which, let's be honest, we are the best. We are the best. There's no joke, but I don't give a damn. Yes, they do have two Big Ten teams in the playoffs, but one of them might not be there if South Carolina doesn't beat Tennessee. And neither one of them would be there if they had any kind of competition within their conference. That's true. But let's not take anything away from the Ohio State team. Absolutely not. Because they are sound and they are very well coached. We know Ryan Day is capable of winning big games. They've done it before. This program recruits nothing but solid athletes. So, if they need to go into some depth and go to the guys on the bench, they recruit well so they have talent. They will have guys that make plays. But they better show up because Georgia shows up every week, and that's a fact. I have not seen Georgia get punched in their mouth not one time this year. And you punch a team in the mouth that doesn't get punched in the mouth a lot, their response is going to be pretty shaky because they haven't been there before. So, my advice, if you're Ohio State and you win that coin toss, you take the football, you go 75 yards down the field, and you shove it down their throat and you tell them, hey, we're here. You're going to have to play us today because we're not going to roll over. Yeah, I think that's a huge key to this game is Ohio State getting a fast start. If they can get a fast start, if they can get a 7, 10-point lead on Georgia. Jermaine Byrd is a bitch. I'm just going to put that in there real quick. Yeah, he just called a touchdown. But if Ohio State can get a fast start, I think it's going to be very, very interesting. So, that would be a key to win for Ohio State, key to success. But another thing that's kind of leaning me towards Georgia is they're going to have to run the ball. And they're missing their best running back. Are they going to be able to run the ball on Georgia? Because if you turn into a one-dimensional team and just have C.J. Stroud back there trying to pass with that D-line, those monsters coming at them, it might be a long day for Ohio State. So, that's one thing that I would look for, a fast start for Ohio State. And can they run the ball on that vaunted Georgia State defensive line? Yeah, and I'm telling you right now, Ohio State is going to come after Stetson Bennett. Good. A lot of people know that he can make plays out of the pocket. They're very aware of that. But I really feel like Ohio State is going to be sending a lot of blitz packages tonight. And in my opinion, that's kind of what they need to do. They need to put pressure on Stetson Bennett, hit him a couple of times, get him out of his rhythm. Because once he finds his rhythm, it almost looks – he's got athletes around him. He's got such good players around him that his job – he has the easiest job in college football being Georgia's quarterback. He does. And he's 5'11", 190. He's 20 pounds heavier than me, and I'm 6'. I'm basically the same size as him. So, that just shows you how easy of a job it is having a great offensive line. You've got nothing but NFL talent around you. So, it's very easy for him to get in a good rhythm and throw these seven-yard passes to Brock Bowers and other guys and let them do the work. So, you've got to get pressure on him. You've got to change up their scheme a little bit. And don't let them get into the rhythm that they get in on everybody. Yep, I agree. That's going to be tough to do, but that is, I think, their path to victory. So, I'm excited for it. That's the big one. It should be a lot of fun, dude. College football is almost over. That makes me want to cry. But we do have a little Tennessee basketball going on. They have a pretty good team. Baseball will be coming up shortly. So, we're going to have plenty to talk about and hope that we can gather some listeners. I know that we're a pretty young podcast, but we definitely appreciate everybody who does listen. Yeah, for sure. This is definitely new to us. We've been talking about it for a long time. We've got buddies that do it over at an NBA one. Shout out to the Hoop Junkies. They kind of inspired us to go ahead and just start it, man. We've been talking about doing it for a long time. Shout out to the smartest guys out there, but I'm sure our opinions are pretty much the same as a lot of you guys. And it's just something that we love doing. We've grown up doing this. Every time we get together and talk about sports, it's a podcast. We just never had a mic with us, a microphone. So, definitely going to be more content to come, man. We'll get better at this. We'll start to add some effects. We'll start to get our music going. We'll start to chop and screw it a little bit. Yeah, our quality will get better. We're running off of a roughly $100 system right now. And we're just having conversations. And we're just having conversations, man. We're just trying to tell you guys what we think about football. And if you disagree with us, fuck you. Fuck you. We're right. But in all seriousness, man, we got a lot of good football today. So, we're about to get to it. Crack open a cold one. Crack some cold ones. Yeah. Crack some cold ones. That's the right way. Happy New Year to everybody. I know you say you're going to change, but you're probably not going to. Don't even write that list out this year, please. Enough with the New Year, new me stuff, because it's probably not going to be. And I'm going to end it with this. Me and Brandon Young, go ahead and write this down. We are not SEC fans. We are Tennessee fans. Anytime Bama, Georgia, Florida, LSU, anytime any of those people step on the field, I hope they lose by 100. And write it on your mirror so you can see it every single morning. Also, Tennessee is Orange Bowl champions. Go damn Vols, baby. 11-2. This has been the Power T Podcast, episode number five, baby. We will see you gents and ladies next time.
