Nothing to say, yet
Pastor Anderson encourages listeners by reminding them that nothing is a surprise to God and that He is in control of all aspects of their lives. He emphasizes the importance of talking to God, reading the Bible, and listening to His guidance. Pastor Anderson also highlights the necessity of being filled with the Holy Spirit and expressing gratitude to God. He concludes by urging listeners to focus on eternal life and prepare for the return of Jesus. Praise the Lord. Good morning. This is Pastor Anderson. You've tapped into the encouragement corner once again. We just greet you all in the name of Jesus, man. This is an exciting morning. God has woke us up. He's waking us up, actually. He's starting us on our way. We just thank God today for his many full blessings. Once again, this is Pastor Anderson, Bishop-elect. You've tapped into the encouragement corner. We are here to encourage you in the things of God. Have a dynamic encouragement piece. Today I'm going to talk about nothing is a surprise to God and nothing catches him off guard. Yes, nothing catches God off guard and nothing is a surprise to him. Father, in the name of Jesus, Lord, we just thank you for waking us up and starting us on our way. For that, we say thank you, Lord. We just believe in you. We believe in your name. We believe in your redemptive work, your plan of salvation. Lord, we just thank you for the water, the blood, and the Word of God. Lord, we just ask you, Lord, to be with us today. Continue to bless us going out and coming in. Lord, we just ask you to watch over our grandkids, our children, acquaintances, our family members, our friends. Lord, we ask you to continue to bless this outreach ministry so that we can reach out to others and tell the world that there's a Savior that can save us eternally. Lord, we just ask you to continue to bless us. Stay with us, Lord. Keep it in our mind that you are soon to come. And we'll forever praise, magnify, and glorify your name. It's in Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Nothing is a surprise to God. Nothing catches him off guard. Praise the Lord. Psalms 81 and 5, it says, This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony. When he went out through the land of Egypt, where I heard a language that I understand not. Watch this now. The psalmist is talking about Joseph and how Joseph went through what he went through, went to a land that he know not of. Oftentimes, God will put you in a place of isolation for the Word of God, just like John was in the Isle of Patmos in Revelations chapter 1. The Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. And so you may be feeling isolated today, but listen, this is not a surprise to God, and this is not catching him off guard. Ephesians 1 and 11, it reads, In whom also we have attained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of him who worketh all things out of the counsel of his own will. You are predestined, you are chosen today to go through some things. So the first thing I would like to bring to your attention, God has a will for your life. Therefore, God is in control. Okay? God is in control of your finance. God is in control of your health. God is in control of your living situation. God is also in control of that career that you are fretting about. And so God has a will for your life. God is in control. So because God is in control, we all need to talk to him. We need to spend time with him. We need to spend time communicating with him. We need to talk to him. And watch this, he wants us to spend time with him. So God is in control. He has a will for your life, and he desires for us to talk to him. And while you're talking to the Lord, it is very important and critical that we read the Bible every day. When you read scripture, you get to know God. It's just that simple. Faith come by hearing, hearing by the Word of God. The more time we spend in the Word of God, because the Word is Jesus, praise the Lord, the Word is Jesus. And so when we spend time with God, we're spending time with him, we're talking to Jesus. He's ministering to us through the Word of God. So talk to the Lord, read your Bible, and also listen to what he's saying. The Lord speaks to us through the power of the Holy Ghost, amen, the Holy Spirit. It is critical that we are filled with the Holy Ghost. The Bible says, be ye filled with his Spirit. And so we need to continuously be filled with this presence of the Almighty God. So after we spend time with him, we talk to him, we read the Bible, we're listening to him, watch this, tell the Lord thank you. The Bible says, in all things give thanks. The Lord is so good, tell him that every chance that you get. Praise the Lord. So nothing is a surprise to God, nothing catches him off guard. So we must continue to talk to God, read our Bibles, listen to him, and thank him for everything that he is doing in our life. Once again, this is the Bishop-elect, Pastor James Anderson, Overflow Outreach Ministries. I'm reaching out to you, bringing the Word of God to you, to your ears. God is a great God, he's a good God, and he's going to continue to be with you and bless you. Stay with the Lord, okay, no matter what you're going through, stay with God. Amen. You have the testimony of Jesus Christ in your life, and it's because of the Word of God that you're going through hard trials right now. But listen, the Bible says, God will never leave you nor forsake you. So keep him first in all that you do. Listen, I want to read some additional scriptures. John chapter 7, 38 through 39, it reads, He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. Amen. Jude 20, But ye, beloved, buildeth yourself on your most holy faith, watch this, praying in the Holy Ghost. That's Jude 20 and 20. Romans 8 and 9, But ye are not in flesh, but in the Spirit. If so, be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Did you catch that? So we have to be filled with the Holy Ghost. Acts 10 and 37, While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all of them which heard the word, and they of the circumcision, which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnified God, then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? Listen, we have to have the Holy Ghost, and we have to be baptized in the name of Jesus. Amen. Once again, this is Pastor Anderson, the Bishop Elect, Overflow Outreach Ministries. We're reaching out to you. Continue to walk by faith and not by sight, because God has a blessing with your name on it. And finally, listen, pay attention to what I'm saying to you. Jesus is soon to come. Jesus is coming back. And so, find you a ministry, if not this one, that is focusing on eternal life, because that's really what it's all about. If you're not into the things of God for eternal life, you're wasting your time. So once again, we love you all in Jesus name. Continue to walk by faith and not by sight. We love you. God bless.
