The Washington Commanders won against the New England Patriots with a score of 20-17. The Patriots made mistakes and struggled on offense. The defense was on the field for a long time and got tired. Some players on the Patriots team were criticized for their performance. The Patriots are now 2-7 and it is unlikely they will make the playoffs. There are concerns about the team's decision making and lack of talent. The narrator also talks about fantasy football and expresses concerns about the league commissioner. He liked what they've been doing. Touch it down at 8. Jones over the middle! Broke it up! And picked off! D'Artavious Martin, the rookie second round pick out of Illinois after Kendall Fuller got a piece of it. The exclamation point for a Washington Commanders victory here in Foxboro. Good news guys, they tried and they failed. Play levels. Well, they tried. And they lost. And thank god they did. Patriots go to 2-7 losing to the Commanders 20-17. It's crazy because they were the ones that were trying. Commanders traded away two of their cornerstone franchise players this past week. Patriots go into this game having traded nobody away. Still going to give 100% effort. And they still managed to lose. Which, for me personally, I think is a great sign for us because this is just a classic Patriots blowing this game as you heard. Ball goes right through JuJu Schuster's hands. And again, it's funny. Every time this happens it's hard to blame Mack for that happening. He threw a good ball. I know it wasn't the most advised thing, but dude's got 50 seconds left to get down the field. You've got to take a couple risks at that point. So I didn't think it was a bad throw. Smith-Schuster is just awful. And we gave him $33 million to come play for this team. But I thought Pat had a good point in the chat where at least you could make it fun, right? Can't we have fun and lose these games? Can't we have someone just go deep downfield? Now we know obviously watching this game that that's not Taequann Thornton because good God is he terrible. But for me, it's like why isn't Booty playing? Why isn't Pop Douglas playing? These two guys that actually can go and make a couple plays at least make the game fun. Booty doesn't dress. Pop still looks pretty good, but again, it's just a boring product. They cut to Kraft during the game. And you can kind of see Jonathan Kraft saying something ineffective. They just suck. And they do. They're just a bad football team right now. And there's nothing that's going to fix it at this point. They just are what they are. They're a team that goes into games and they blow it every single game. Now to get to a couple of the goods here, there was one guy who I've been giving a lot of shit to the whole season that finally decided to show up in this game. From Andre Stephenson, still going, chased by Carl Stephenson into the end zone. 64 yards for a Winslet touchdown. Awesome to finally see Andre back to looking like himself in this game. By far our best offensive player and it's exactly what he should be on this team. He should be our best offensive player and he finally showed up and looked like that. Also got to give some credit to the offensive line. Now again, playing against a team who just traded away their two best offensive linemen, but I thought they actually gave Mac a lot of time in this game. And Mac he did okay with it. He didn't make any mistakes, which was good. But solid day for the offensive line. Now, here's the real issue I think in this game as to why the Patriots really didn't have a chance to actually win. They got outpossessed 37 minutes to 23 minutes. In the first half, I think that was a 20 to 10 split. The defense is on the field all goddamn day and you could see the defensive line guys just getting very tired as this game went on. It's hard to continue to go at those guys because the defensive linemen have to run a lot more than the offensive linemen have to run. And so, as they're on the field more, they start to wear down and you could see it in the entire defense. Even the corners started to not look as fast. I have no idea what's going on with Jack Jones and J.C. Jackson. I guess they got benched for the first few series and then Jack Jones just left Gillette Stadium right after the game. So, no idea what that's about, but again, this team just kind of continues to do the things that have gotten them in trouble the past few years. Booty doesn't see the field. I have to imagine he will next week after Thornton's performance. I mean, there's a clip on Twitter of Thornton trying to run a comeback route and it's just one of the saddest things that I've seen in a while. But, it's crazy to say I mean, Sam Howell is much better than Mac Jones. Just watching that game, you can't tell me that you don't think Sam Howell is better than Mac Jones. Now, sure, he's got more weapons. Totally concede that, but he's made some really good throws, really good decisions. Now, again, he's not Patrick Mahomes, but he's a very serviceable player. I mean, the dude had, I think, over 400 yards in this game. I cannot tell you the last time Mac did that. I think it was like Minnesota last year. Howell just made good decisions. He didn't screw it up for his team. I was really impressed with Sam Howell and guess what? You took Bailey Zappi over him. Oh, that's right. You tried to cut Bailey Zappi in the offseason. So, it's just more of the same just crap with the Patriots these days of bad decision making. That's all it is. And, you know, at 2-7, I don't think any team's ever made the playoffs after being 2-7. I was trying to look it up on the internet, and for some reason I couldn't find any good credible posts other than on Reddit, and I didn't know if those were legitimate either. But, you know, I hope we start to really think about playing the young guys. I feel pretty vindicated that T.J. Stroud just went out and absolutely torched everybody this past weekend after I was saying, hey, that's how you build a team. Look at Tank Dell. Tank Dell was unbelievable in that game. And, again, you have young guys like Booty and Douglas who you could develop with Mac Jones, and you're just not doing it. So, again, it's more of the same stuff. Like, to me, again, Bill can't be the GM of this team. We have no talent. Again, the Patriots tried yesterday, and it's so sad to say that they tried against a team who really just kind of sold in their season. But, hey, let's just keep losing. I don't care. I think it's a good thing to lose at this point. Let's go get a draft pick. I think we're the fifth overall pick right now. Kyler Murray coming back kind of maybe gives Arizona a little couple extra wins. But I don't really see the Patriots winning too many games here. I think Minshew's going to tear us up in Germany, but we can talk about that more on the next podcast. I did want to address something going on in our fantasy league. Pat Barrett's been the commissioner of our league since 2018, since its inception. And I can't lie, I felt like it's been a very well-run league. We have a great community. I thought, you know, we've always been very good about going to vote for things. I thought the draft stuff's been excellent. Love how we do this thing on Twitch every single year to do the balls to see it. He's done a lot of great things as commissioner of the league. But this year, I can't help but feel like we've taken a bit of a turn for the worse. I mean, just listen to this. To bring him down, which I didn't. Very fair trade. Very nice trade by me. I never said a nice thing about him. Why does he sound like Trump right now? I don't know what you're talking about. It's a good question, Beau. Let's see if he does sound like Trump. We're going to have strong, credible borders, and people are going to come into our country, but they're going to come into our country legally. They're going to come in legally. We're going to build a wall. It's going to be built. I mean, he can't tell me that there isn't some similarities going on there. And now, in the chat, again, a guy who, after Dan Allen beats me fair and square this week, has begun to really unravel a little bit, I think. First of all, there seems to be some collusion going on with James and Pat as far as the rankings are concerned. Clearly, Pat's in this guy's back pocket. You know, the podcast that we recorded with Beau, Beau and I were the only people that got called out. And that just doesn't seem right to me. You know, he's making sketchy trades with Ben Gordon. I mean, innocent little Ben Gordon. He wouldn't hurt a fly. And Pat's out here just using his power to take advantage of one of the most innocent people that we have in this league. Accusing people of cheating. Yeah, alright, I was Dan's best man at his wedding. What does that have to do with anything? I put out a team that I believed could win this week and they haven't performed up to expectations. And here comes Pat, nervous about his own place in the standings, clearly, screaming about me cheating. I've never cheated on anything in my life. Never a test. Never a girl. And never with my friendship. And I can't help but feel like Pat's starting to turn his back on the whole league. And then, the audacity, suddenly, to appoint James Arnold to any position in this league? James Arnold hasn't posted since 2018 since this league started. How would he even come up with anything? And then, of course, Pat says, James doesn't say anything. Then I get to make the official ruling. When did this league get away from being a democracy? I thought we voted on things. We have a system to vote on GroupMe. So, why was this not put to a vote? To see who is the right person to really bring down that kind of a verdict. You know, I feel as though, because I have the platform, I need to speak on this. Just to keep everybody around me safe. You can ask, do I think that Pat needs to be removed as commissioner? No. Not yet anyway. But trust me, my eyes are open, and so should yours. Thank you, and good night. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
