PRAY FOR ME

As I'm on my knees look up to the sky and I question lord I said God why I got the things going in my life all just pain misery and strife. I don't know where to go left or right to the feeling that I got that in sight. I just need to shine a little light without this darkness to breathe my life bright. I gotta see. Can't see but I gotta see. I just wanna know or somebody pray for me. Can somebody pray for me? Can somebody pray for me? Can somebody please pray for me? Dear lord and father we are gathered here this morning, this afternoon, this evening, this night not knowing which way to go. Should we go left or should we go right? How many steps forward do we need to take? Knowing that you told Lot and his family to never look back and I know we have it in our lives and in our minds and in our spirits and souls that we always want to look back at things. At things whether it helped us or hurt us, made us happy or sad. Things that were good for us and things that were bad. But lord we're looking all around us and we're not really looking where we're supposed to be. Head bowed, bended knees with our hands raised to thee. I've always said look up because God will never let you down and I believe that with all my heart. But lord this prayer is for me. This prayer is for those that are listening right now and that me being them. In the same city, in the same state, same country, all of those in the same world. Lord we have no idea how to navigate this life. We have no idea why things happen the way that they do. But we have to come to understand that everything that comes, everything that happens, everything that has been done and everything that is to be is because of thee. We know that we have our own desires of our heart. We have our own thoughts. We have our own will. But for those that don't know, let it be revealed that in the midst of the night you sent our lord and savior Jesus Christ to live a perfect life. Give us a perfect template of how to live and how to be and how to have a great relationship with thee. Lord somebody is in need of you tonight. Somebody is in need of you this morning. Somebody is in need of you this afternoon. Somebody is in need of you this evening. Regardless of what time of day, if we just have the will and desire and initiate to pray, to have a conversation with you, because nothing else will matter, nothing else will do unless we have that relationship and we communicate with you. Maybe having some financial troubles right now. Lord we know that you'll make a way. Having family issues. Lord we know that you're going to make a way. Job, employee issues. Lord we know that you're going to make a way. New night or day, regardless of the situation, we'll reach out to you. We know that you're going to make a way. Lord, I know you left your Holy Spirit here for us to give us comfort and give us peace. And there's a lot of us out here in the world that don't know what comfort is and have no idea what a peace of mind and a peaceful soul, what that is, how it feels and what it can and could and should be. Lord, we just thank you for your grace. We thank you for your love. We thank you for the protection that you have given us from heaven up above. Mindful to you, Lord, that we give you all the praise and give you all the honor, give you all of our time and our love and our hearts and our souls. Thank you, Jesus, for walking this earth as a perfect man, disregarding Satan and his temptations and the ills of the world coming against you. Because Lord, we know when we wake up in the morning, we're fighting every day. We're fighting every day to live, to be, to exist. And we know that you fought that battle through all the turmoil and despair, through ridicule and the punishment that you took emotionally, spiritually and physically. You did it for us. And Lord, we know there's nothing in this world that we cannot handle because you were put to the ultimate test and you were put to the ultimate death. But yet three days later, you rose with all power in your name. My mother used to sing, weeping may endure for a night, but joy come in the morning. Lord, I just wanted to share this song with those within earshot of this podcast and let them know that when trouble is in my way, I have to cry sometime. I have to cry sometime. So much trouble, trouble in my way. I have to cry sometime. I lay awake at night. But that's all right, because I know a Jesus, Jesus, he will fix it. I know a Jesus, Jesus, he will fix it. I know a Jesus, Jesus, he will fix it. After a while. And one of the things that we talked about in church today is being patient. Being patient, we have that microwave, that instant gratification type demeanor about our lives that we want things done now. Now, at Commercial J.G. Wentworth, I want my money and I need it now. We have that mentality where we want things now. But I remember when the disciples, the apostles were in that boat and it was rocking and swinging and everybody's going crazy because they were wanting instant peace. And they reached out and called to you and you said, peace, be still. Peace, be still. And Lord, I know personally for me, I have peace within you. When the world is rocking and the world is shaking and when it feels like everything is breaking, just know that we can reach out to you and you can say peace. Be still. Life is real. Life is crazy. But I know with you, everything is going to be alright. After a while. Lord, I just ask within myself and those that are listening and praying along with me with heads bowed and eyes closed. We hope and pray that one day that we'll be able to see your face in here. You say, well done, my faithful servant. There may be some people listening to this podcast right now that's probably never heard of you or may have heard you had no desire of your power and the greatness of your love. Lord, I ask you just to reach out and touch their hearts and give them peace within themselves. Give them an understanding of the power of you. Let them know that all things are because of you. And with you, we can do everything. And the Bible says I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. And Lord, we just ask as we get ready to close down this prayer that you don't forsake us, that you don't leave us, but you keep loving us, inspiring us to know and to feel and to desire a relationship with you. Lord, this has been on my mind that I just needed to pray. Pray. For someone. Pray for everyone. And pray for me. These and other blessings we ask in your son, Jesus name. And everybody says, Amen. Amen. Pray for me. Pray for me. Pray for me. Lord Jesus, thank you for having somebody. Pray for him.
