I'm Pastor Charles Price, and today I'm coming to you again from the lovely old Halls Chapel at Halls Crossroads on Highway 88 east of Sandersville at the caution light. Today I'm going to be speaking to you in a message entitled The Great Delusion. But before we begin, let's go to the Lord and a word of prayer. Our most gracious Heavenly Father, my prayer this day is that everyone who is under the sound of my voice will realize the day and the hour in which we now live and know that we are just about to see the coming of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Lord, that they'll understand how important this day and hour is in which we live. And Father, those that are not saved, that they will give their hearts and lives to you and serve you until the coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. And Father, we'll give you the praise, the honor, and the glory in Jesus' mighty name. And amen. Well, those of you today that can, how about getting out your Bibles? Those of you that are home and those of you that are shut in, if you can, get out your Bibles today and follow along with me. We're going to be going through the Word of God. I want to be speaking to you today about the Great Delusion. Now, you know, over the past few weeks I've been speaking to you about the two witnesses, and the two witnesses are the Word of God and the Spirit of God. Amen? That's the two witnesses that we have on the earth today. Amen. Now, there's three that bear witness in heaven, even the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. But here on earth, we have the Son through the Word. Jesus was the Word, remember, and he was made flesh and dwelt among us. And we have the testimony of him, and we have his Word today. We have the Word of God. And so, we also have today the Holy Spirit. Now, those are the two witnesses that we've been talking about. But I want to talk to you today about those who have been rejecting God's Word. Those who have been turning a cold shoulder to God. Those who have been snatching their shoulder away from it, saying, I don't want to have anything to do with you. I don't want to go to church. I don't want to have anything to do with people who do. I just don't want to accompany with those kind of people. I want to talk to you, friend. You're listening to this radio program today, and I want to talk to you. This message today is for you. Friend, there's coming a great delusion in these last days. In other words, a great lie is going to fall upon the people. And this great lie is going to deceive those who have been rejecting God's Word. Those of you that are out there today that have said once before in your heart, well, I'm not ready yet. I'm not ready yet. And I'm going to put it off. I'm not going to come to the Lord right now. I'm going to wait for a day sometime down the road. And tomorrow, of course, never comes for you. And friend, I want to tell you that you can't put coming to God off. You can't put off getting saved. Today is the day of salvation. Today, God is speaking to you. Tomorrow, God may not be speaking to you. Today is the day that He has sent this Word your way. And friend, you need to receive this Word right now, because it's not just a man speaking here. This is God speaking to you wherever you're at right now. If you're unsaved, you've been rejecting God's Word, and you've been putting it off, and you've been saying, well, one day I'll get right. Friend, you will never get right, and that day will never come until you accept Jesus Christ. Today is the day of salvation, right now. Now listen, Isaiah 66 and verse 16. Isaiah prophesied, and I'm going to try to move quickly because I want you to hear all that God would say to you today. Isaiah 66 and verse 16 says this. It says, For by fire and by his sword will the Lord plead with all flesh, and the slain of the Lord shall be many. By fire, friend, that is the Holy Ghost. By fire. Remember what John said concerning Jesus when he was going to baptize Jesus? John was letting the people know that he himself was not the Messiah, but that he that cometh after him, the lachet of whose shoes he was unworthy to even bear. That is Jesus Christ who was coming after John. John said, He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire. Amen. Now you see, for by fire and by his Word, by his Word, you know we have God's Word today. We have it in the New Testament. We have it in the Old Testament. And it is God's Word, people. It was, you know, God moved on men of old and they wrote under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost this Word for you and I today. And it was a testimony unto the reality and the life of God. Amen. And the life that he wants us to live in him. For by fire and by his Word will the Lord plead with all flesh. The Lord has been coming to you, friend. He has been sending you his Word. There have been people coming around you, witnessing to you. There have been people coming to you, talking to you. And you have been rejecting that Word. And you are a sinner and you know it. And you have rejected God's Word continually. You have hardened your heart and you have rejected God's Word. But friend, God is speaking to you today. This could be the last time God speaks to you. This could be the last opportunity that you have to come to the Lord. One of the men in our church was working at a place not far from here and he was working on a plant where they press these rubber strips on the outside part of the fold-up tables. And of course their business there is to make these tables. Well, the guy who is a member of our church was sitting out there on break witnessing and ministering to this man. And the man got up and rejected everything that he said and said, I don't want any of it. I don't want to have a part of it. The man went off a break right back in there and turned his machine on and took a rubber strip and took it up into the machine and forgot that his machine was turned on. And the presses came together and slammed together and squeezed that man's entire insides out inside that machine. You see, God strove with that man right up to the last minute before the devil killed him. And some of you out there today have been gambling with your life. You have been saying, well, I'll do it tomorrow. I'll get right tomorrow. I'll get saved tomorrow. Friend, you don't know if you got a tomorrow. If you had asked that young man that was sitting out there during break, whenever our church member was trying to witness to him, if you had asked him then if he would be back tomorrow, he would have said, yes, of course. If you had asked him if he would have been back next week, he would have said, yes, of course. He did not know that when he got up and went back inside that his life was going to end. Friend, I'm telling you today you need to take heed to God's Word. For by fire, that is, by His Holy Ghost, and by God's Word, He has been trying to minister to you. You may have been resisting those that come to you speaking the Word of God under the anointing of the fire of the Holy Ghost. You could have been rejecting them. You could have denied everything that they said. But friend, God is reaching out to you. If you can hear my voice today, God is speaking to you one more time. Now, I want to share with you more of what Isaiah had to say. Isaiah prophesied that those that would reject God's Word and reject God's truth, that eventually what would happen is that God would let a great lie come upon them and they would receive a delusion and they would believe a lie. Isaiah 66, verses 4-9. I want you to listen very carefully. Isaiah speaks and he prophesies of the time that you and I are living in and he said, I also will choose their delusion and will bring their fears upon them. Why? He says, because when I called, they did not answer. When I spoke, they did not hear. But they did evil before my eyes, and choose that in which I delighted not. Friend, how many times has God been speaking to you? And I can tell you God's voice has been speaking to you every day of your life, calling you, trying to draw you, trying to pull you into his presence, trying to save your soul from a devil's hell. God has been trying to restore you, reconcile you, and bring you back to himself. But you've got one problem. You don't like truth. You don't like for people to tell you what's going on in your life. You don't want the truth right now. You'd rather believe a lie. Well, friend, if that's you, guess what? A great lie, a great delusion, a great deception in these last days will fall upon the people as prophesied by Isaiah, simply because all the time before they had rejected God's truth. Now God's going to let them believe a lie. And you know the strange thing about a delusion is that you will swear up and down it's the truth when it ain't. You will think because you're seeing stuff in your mind that you fabricated and because of the desires that you've got in your heart, you have fabricated things in your mind and you've made visions for yourself and you're going to believe that that is the truth and it's going to be a lie. Amen. Isaiah said, I will choose their delusions. He's speaking in behalf of the Lord God and God is saying, I will choose their delusions and will bring their fears upon them because when I call, none did answer. Friend, you have not known the terror until you have known the terror of the Lord. The very things that you have feared are about to come upon you. The very things that you were afraid of are about to come upon you. Unless you this day repent and turn to the Lord, give your heart to God, open up your spiritual ears and begin to listen and begin to hear and receive all that God has for you. Have a desire in your heart for truth. Come to understanding and let God deliver you, friend. I speak to you today because I know that I know that I know that there's someone right now under the sound of my voice that are hearing me and God is speaking to you and friend, I pray that it's not the last time God will speak to you, but it could be the last time. But he says, I will send a great delusion and bring their fears upon them because when I call, they didn't answer me. And when I spoke, they did not hear. But they did evil. That's what they did before my eyes and they chose that which I delighted not in, said the Lord. Now verse 5 says this. It says, Hear the word of the Lord. Ye that tremble at his word. Friend, we've got to have great respect for God's word. We've got to give a reverence to God's word. We've got to begin to fear and tremble at God's word. For we know that Jesus is just about to split the eastern sky and come for all those who have heard the word of God. He says, Hear the word of the Lord. Ye that tremble at his word. Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake and said let the Lord be glorified, but he shall appear to your joy and they shall be ashamed. The very people that has rejected you, listen, there's some of you people who know how to fear and tremble at God's word. There's some of you who know how to reverence God's word. I want to encourage you today as Isaiah was doing in Isaiah 66 and verse 5 when he said that the very people that has rejected you had rejected God's word. Don't be afraid because God is going to exalt you and lift you up into a high place. You that have humbled yourself beneath the cross, you who have given yourself to hear God's word, the Lord says I'm going to lift you up. I'm going to exalt you. And guess what? The very ones who have rejected you and have rejected my word, they will be ashamed and for you they will be joy. Hallelujah. And then we read in verse 6, it says a voice of Noah's from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the Lord that rendereth recompense to his enemies. Before she travailed, she brought forth. Before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. You see friend, what Isaiah is trying to tell us is God is birthing something in you through his word. And that which is being birthed in you, when you receive God's word, even as Mary, the mother of Jesus, when she received God's word that was sent to her by the angel, Gabriel, when she received that word, she became impregnated with the word of God and the result of that was Jesus was born. Friend, God is trying to get his word into you so that he can birth Jesus in you. And if you will do as Mary did, Mary said be it unto me according to thy word. You need to say today, Lord I receive this word that I hear. Be it unto me according to thy word. Do that which is good in my life. You see Isaiah says that before she travailed in pain, she brought forth. That means before she ever came to the greatest severity part of her pain. It doesn't mean that she didn't travail. It doesn't mean that she didn't have some pain. It doesn't mean that she didn't go through some struggle. But it says that before she travailed, she brought forth. Before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. And I want you to know today that the Lord is wanting to produce Christ in his church and in his people. But friends, he has to do it individually first. Christ has to be produced in your life and in my life and in this person's life and that person's life so that when we come together, there is that corporate body of Jesus Christ there within the body of Christ, the church. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise God. You see friends, there's some of you that's out there today that's listening to this word. And you know that you're a sinner. You know that your life is not right. You know that you're separated and you're cut off from God. And you know that the blessings of the Lord are not coming upon you. And you know that at any moment your heart is filled with fear. Some of you, your hearts are almost overcharged with fear. It's a fear of disobedience, friends. It's a fear that judgment is about to come upon you at any moment. It's that paranoia. It's that troubling of anxiety, of fear that has gripped your heart. And many in these last days, the Lord said, their hearts are going to overcharge them for the fear of those things that are about to come upon them. And friends, it's the fear of judgment. In your heart, your spirit man knows right now that the soon coming of the Lord is at hand. Your spirit man right now knows that Jesus is about to split the eastern sky and come for his church. And you know inside of you right now that whether or not your life is right with the Lord or not. You know whether you're ready to meet him and stand in his presence or not. You know it right now. And friend, I plead with you today. I plead with you today. Receive God's Word for your life so that this great delusion that Isaiah spoke about, so that it will not come upon you, so that you will not believe a lie simply because you've been rejecting the Word of God for so long. You see, this delusion means that you believe a lie. You believe it. And you can't be convinced unless God convinces you. And friend, if you've been believing a lie, I want you to come to the Lord right now. Kneel down wherever you're at and give your heart and life to the Lord and let him save you. And lift this great delusion. Lift this lie from your life. Some of you have been living a lie and you know it. Friends, it's time right now. Some of you, even members of churches, some of you have been baptized. Some of you have already went through the baptism of the Holy Spirit and everything, but you got disenchanted and you got disgruntled and you had your eyes on men instead of on the Lord. And you have failed and you failed miserably. And you know it. You hear my voice today and you know it. I challenge you today. I challenge you today to receive the Lord Jesus Christ back into your life. Do not reject Him anymore. Do not walk beneath this delusion and this blinding lie that is in the world today. When the world says everything's okay, everything's fine, and nobody wants to rock your boat, but friend, I'm telling you, you need your boat rocked today. You need your life shook today. And you need the devil shook out. Amen. And you need to come to Jesus. Give your heart and life to Him and commit your life to Him once again and serve Him until He comes and you're standing in His presence. Do His will on the earth and let God be glorified in you.
