Michelle Clark, a 50-year-old mother and grandmother, works as a school bus driver and plans to use her degree to help children in the school system. She has a growth mindset and believes in continuous improvement. Michelle obtained her GED at 35, which inspired her daughter to do the same and led to better job opportunities for Michelle. She is now back in school, showing her children that it's never too late to pursue new things. Problem-solving, self-awareness, social awareness, productivity, and technology are skills we use daily without even realizing it, benefiting both our personal and professional lives. Hello, my name is Michelle Clark. I am 50 years old and a mother of five and now a grandmother of nine grandchildren. I am a school bus driver for six years now and in school. I plan on using my degree to help children. I love being around children and would like to keep working in the school system. My philosophy has had its ups and downs and I have had a growth mindset throughout my life, always trying to do better. I went and got my GED at 35 years old and my daughter decided to drop out of high school at 16. It saved her from making the same mistake I did. We both received our GED which led to me getting a better paying job. And here I am back in school again showing my kids it's never too late to do something new. How you start is important, but it's how you finish that counts. In the race for success, speed is less important than stamina. The sticker outlasts the splinter, BC Fort. Every day we use our problem solving, self and social awareness, agility, intentive results driven, productivity, information, relationship building and technology and do not even realize it. It helps us in our social and work careers. We all think our process when somebody is speaking to us, we problem solve in our heads before we speak to answer. We do not want to give a wrong answer or look dumb by just wording out an answer. Or we may say we need to research before I give you an answer. And we are problem solving and using self awareness, social awareness, productivity and technology to find an answer.
