Nothing to say, yet
Hey, everyone. Sister Melissa here. I pray and I hope that everyone is enjoying this day. This is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. This morning, 10 a.m. September 13th, 2023. I have a message from the Lord, a message that is going to bring hope to those who are stuck in the middle. You have gone far off the shore, but you're still far from where you are supposed to go and where you're supposed to end up. But I have great news. It's not at the end, and it's not in our beginning. It's in the middle where we see the hand of God perform supernatural work, miracles in our lives. And when we see this happening, it's never in the beginning where we are all enthusiastic about what we're about to encounter, what we're about to go through, what we're about to do. And it's never in the end when there's another celebration in the victories that we achieve. It's in the middle where we stay stagnant, where we feel like, what is happening in my life? What am I doing? How did I get here? Why am I stuck? I want to go to the word of God, and I want to read from the book of Matthew, starting with verse 22 in chapter 14. And the word of God says, immediately, Jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go before him to the other side while he sent the multitudes away. And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up on the mountain by himself to pray. Now, when evening came, he was alone there. But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary. Now, in the fourth watch of the night, Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, it is a ghost. And they cried out for fear. But immediately, Jesus spoke to them, saying, be of good cheer. It is I. Do not be afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water. So he said, come. And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid. And beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately, Jesus stretched out his hand and caught him and said to him, Oh, you of little faith, why did you doubt? And when they got into the boat, the wind seized. Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped him, saying, Truly, you are the Son of God. Wow, this is not only powerful, but this is an event that really took place over 2000 years ago, when Jesus Christ, hallelujah, 100% man, 100% God came down to this earth to show us the way unto salvation. The Bible says that immediately, Jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go before him to the other side. Notice that Jesus did not go in the boat with them. Notice that Jesus didn't say, I am going to be watching you as you get to the other side. He just commanded them to get into the boat and to go to the other side. Notice that when he did that, Jesus went up to the mountain to pray. And the Bible says that when the disciples were in the middle of the sea, the winds were against them. The winds were contrary to them. And the reason this had to take place is because when we are in the middle, storms will rise up. When we are in the middle, chaos will come. And this is because in the middle is where we find our true identity in Christ Jesus. Because it's in that moment where we will be filled with fear from everything that is happening, from what we thought would occur, but it didn't actually turn out the way that we wanted it to. But in the end, we see from the Scriptures that Jesus came walking on the water. Wherever you are right now in your walk with Jesus, I want you to know that if you are in the middle, you are getting ready to see a supernatural divine encounter take place the moment that you set your eyes upon the one who is walking on the water. And the one who is walking on the water is the one who is about to show you that in the midst of your middle encounter, God is going to bring forth something new that will change the trajectory of your life, which is exactly what happened with one of the disciples. The Bible says that the moment Jesus made himself manifest, oh this is good hallelujah, one disciple decided to say to Jesus, if it is you Lord, command me to come out into the sea. And what happened in that moment? Jesus didn't say hold on a minute, wait till the waves die down, wait till the waves cease. No. When Jesus is present, there is a calm.
