Affliction comes and go's, but God's word remains firm, steadfast and true for eternity

I am filled with so much joy this morning, not because of anything that happened in my life, simply because God is good. God is great. God is amazing. Yes. And every single morning when we wake up, we ought to thank God for another day that he has given us. Are you going through something so terrible that you think you will never get out of this one? I got good news. No, I got great news for you. God is going to show up. And when he does, he is going to do amazing work in and through your life today. It is 10 a.m. August 11, 2023. And you guessed it. I'm back with another message from our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. This message comes from the book of James chapter 5, starting with verse 13. And the word of God says, is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of the faith will save the sick and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sin, he will be forgiven. Confect your trespasses to one another and pray for one another that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man prevails much. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours. And he prayed earnestly that it would not rain. And it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. He prayed again and the heavens gave rain and the earth produced fruit. Yes, this is the blessing that we have as believers in Christ Jesus being washed in the blood of Jesus Christ, confessing our sins and believing in our hearts that Jesus is Lord and Savior. Come on now, somebody. Somebody's got to give him praise. Somebody's got to shout. Start worshiping him because it's all about the praise and worship. It's all about what we do. Hallelujah. When we're going through something, maybe we are going through a difficult season, God says to pray. Pray your way through it. If you are filled with joy, worship your way through it. If you are sick, praise and worship and pray your way through it because God is the only one who can make a way when there is a true miracle that needs to take place. And a miracle basically means that it is out of our control and it is out of our human ability and only God can intervene. And boy, God wants to intervene. God wants to show up. God wants to do the impossible in your life. But he says today, activate your faith. Start praying to me in the name of Jesus and whatever you ask in my name, according to my will, says the Lord, you shall receive it. You are sick in the mighty name of Jesus. Receive healing. Hallelujah. If you are jumping for joy, let your heart be filled with so much happiness in the name of Jesus that you will not be able to contain it because the joy of the Lord is our strength. We need to start declaring, not according to our circumstances, but according to how good our God truly is. And our God is mighty. Our God is powerful. Our God says that if we pray fervently, that whatever we ask in the name of Jesus, it will be given to us. That is the power that we have living on the inside of us. Oh, I need somebody to understand this today. I need somebody to grasp the concept of what God is doing in your life because only God, hallelujah, can do what only God does. And that is supernatural works. We have been blessed, the Bible says in Ephesians, with all of the heavenly blessings. And we fight our battles in prayer. We fight our battles knowing that if God is for us, nothing can be against us. We need to have, hallelujah, all that fervent prayer mindset to say, I don't know how this is going to go, but I'm trusting in God almighty. I'm trusting that the cross was enough. I'm trusting that as I am washed in the blood of Jesus, that my God will not let me go. My God will not abandon me. My God will be with me until the very end. And this is the hope that I am clinging to. Oh, I feel the Holy Spirit and he's telling me that soon you are going to receive your open door in the mighty name of Jesus because God sees the affliction. God sees what you are going through, brother. God sees what you are going through, my sister. Oh, and God says that if you continue praying, breakthrough is right around the corner. Hallelujah. And I'm believing God for you, my sister. I'm believing God for you, my brother. You just have to believe it. Walk by faith and not by sight. And you will see the hand of God. Hallelujah. Work in mighty ways because God, hallelujah, has already ordained your steps. As a matter of fact, he has already illuminated the pathway that you are walking on. And it does not matter if you can't see it because the one who's leading you is the one who sees it and he comforts you with his rod and his staff. And that's the reason why you have not died yet. This is the reason why even though the enemy tried to take you out, God still protected you because he is your strong power. Hallelujah. Just praise him. Praise him. Praise him. Praise him. Praise his holy name because our God is worthy of all praises. Oh, I don't know if right where you are, you could just give God a shout of praise. Our God is a good God. He is the great shepherd.
