Alright, ladies, join me in saying the marriage pledge. Yes, join me in saying the marriage pledge. All you do is just repeat after me, okay? The change I want to see must first begin with me. I am the ideal woman and wife. My vow and marriage is for life. I am the crown of my husband. I honor and respect him as a man. My husband is the man God called him to be. He loves, worships, and commits to only me. My marriage is a perfect example which he and I won't let anyone trample. Our marriage and relationship is extraordinary. We both live together in perfect harmony. No matter what trouble comes our way, we will keep our promise to stick and stay. Weapons will form, but they won't last. My dream of a happily ever after has come to pass. Amen, Amen, and Amen. So, ladies, do you know what time it is? Yes, do you know what time it is? It's scripture notes and quotes taking time. Yes, yes, yes, indeed it is. So, get those notepads and Bibles out and get ready to write all of it down, everything. Just write it down. Just write it, write it, write it, write it down. Okay, ladies? Our topic for today is do not forsake wisdom. Okay, so that's the topic for today. Do not forsake wisdom. I'm going to break it down in steps and give you some vitally important keys as to why you shouldn't forsake wisdom and wise counsel from an elder. So, I ask you once again, ladies, do you know what time it is? Say it with me. It's scripture notes and quotes taking time. Yes, indeed it is. So, let's get to it then right now, okay? We are still on the series Wisdom is the Principal Thing. And today's topic is a spin-off from my teaching on the five classes of wisdom, which are, and these are the five classes of wisdom, okay? It's 1. Earthly Wisdom. Number 2. Sensual Wisdom. Number 3. Intellectual Wisdom. Number 4. Devilish Wisdom. And number 5 is Godly Wisdom. And last week, I spoke to you on those. And next week, I am going to, you know, do all of that. Next week, we're coming to the end of this series, okay? So, we have about two more topics, two more series today, next week, and then we will be doing the recap after that. But for today, I'm going to share with you, ladies, reasons why you don't forsake wisdom and wise counsel from an elder, okay? So, ladies, let's look first at what the Word of God says about not forsaking wisdom. Okay, so the Bible says in Proverbs 4, verse 6 through verse 7, it says, Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you. Love her, and she will watch over you. Wisdom is supreme. Therefore, get wisdom, though it costs all you have. Get understanding. So, the Word of God says that we're protected, loved, and watched over when we don't forsake wisdom. Okay, so ladies, when we stop listening and learning from our elders and forsake their godly wisdom, pride can take a hold of our hearts. We become unteachable. We strongly think that we have all the answers, and therefore, we believe that we do not need anyone or anything telling us something or pointing out something which we need to improve on. Okay, so having degrees, a good job, and wealth really is nothing compared to wisdom. Okay, I can repeat that again. Having degrees, a good job, and wealth really is nothing compared to wisdom. And I am going to maybe shock some of you on that, because gaining wisdom is supreme. It is the principal thing. It's worth more than any wealth or precious thing this world has to offer. It does. And if you really look at it, that's exactly what it is. Despite whatever it would cost, even if it costs all that you have on this earth, we must get wisdom. And amongst all of that, of all of our getting, we have to get understanding. This instruction that was given in Proverbs 4, 6-7, not only stresses the importance of wisdom, but also the value in our lives and understanding what we are to do and how it must be done. Ladies, it's clear that the value and care of wisdom is to take a high priority in our life. It is to take a priority in our life. It is to become our number one in our lives. Ladies, remember I mentioned last week that godly wisdom is the principal thing and that it is the beginning of the foundation you lay in your marriage. If you don't remember that, you can go back to my podcast and you will see it there and you can listen to it. I gave the quote, God's wisdom is our firm foundation. I don't know if you remember that quote. And for you all who were not there, this is a quote, God's wisdom is our firm foundation. Then I shared how God's wisdom or godly wisdom is our firm foundation and how Jesus explained this foundation best when he told his disciples and followers the parable of the man who builds his house on the rock. And that was in, you can find it in Matthew chapter 7 verse 24 to 27. So let me just read that again for you all. Matthew chapter 7 verse 24 to 27. Reading from verse 24. So therefore, whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock. Verse 25. And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell not, for it was founded upon a rock. Verse number 26. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, doeth them, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand. Verse 27. And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it. So ladies we see here that Yeshua Jesus Christ tells his followers that a wise man builds his house on the rock or a strong foundation. Yeshua called this rock the foundation of our faith and he said you are wise when you build your house upon this foundation of faith. Therefore ladies, I said it before and I'll say it again. It is wise to build your house, your marriage, your relationship, and your family, your ministries, and even your business on this foundation of faith. Okay? You may ask the question, why? And it's because wisdom is the principal thing. I've been saying it and I've been saying it for weeks. I've been saying it from the time I started this series. It's not just a cliche ladies or a quote. It's not a quote. It's not just a cliche. It is truth and there is a scripture that actually backs up this truth. Alright? So let's read what that scripture says and turn with me ladies to Proverbs chapter 4 and verse 7. Wisdom is the principal thing. I'm reading here. Wisdom is the principal thing and that's Proverbs 4 and 7. Therefore get wisdom and in all thy getting get understanding. It's scripture ladies and I don't know about you ladies, but that's truth to me. Because if it's scripture, it's truth. And it's truth to me. And if we abide ourselves with the scripture, we'll know that it is truth. Okay? So this is truth because, you know, and like I said, I also explained before that in the Hebrew language, that the phrase principal thing states that it is the head or at the top. It also describes something that is first or something that is at the beginning. Remember that now. That's the Hebrew language which it states that. It's the phrase principal thing. So which meaning ladies that wisdom is the first thing. If it's the principal thing, it's the first thing. If it's the principal thing, it's the top thing. Which is defined as being the most important thing. Which means ladies, wisdom is the first thing or it's the top thing, the firm foundation to a successful and extraordinary marriage and relationship. Do you hear me now? Yes, indeed. Meaning ladies, you have to put it first in your marriage and in your relationship. And let it be the top thing in your marriage and relationship. It is like building a house. The first thing you lay is the firm foundation. You don't put the walls up first. No, ladies. You lay down the foundation first. And not only do you lay a foundation, you lay a firm foundation. Hear me now. A firm foundation. It should be built firm so that it could be strong and last a lifetime. No matter the trials, the tribulations, hard times, difficulties and challenges that we face. It won't crumble and it won't fall because it'll stand strong. Why? Because it's built on the rock as stated in verse 25. And the rain descended and the floods came and the winds blew and beat upon the house. And it fell not. It didn't fall. For it was founded upon a rock. That's the reason why it didn't fall. It was on a firm foundation. Above and beyond that, your foundation should be firm. A firm foundation should be built on the Lord Yeshua, Jesus Christ, ladies. That's the only way it's going to work and go right for you, ladies. That's the only way. Let's see what Proverbs chapter 9 and verse 10 has to say. Proverbs 9 and 10 reads, The fear of the Lord is the beginning. The beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Oh, are you hearing me now? And that's not my words. I keep telling you, I back up what I back up with Scripture. It's not me. It's Scripture. Okay. Let me give you a quote before I go on with that. The fear of the Lord is where wisdom begins. Okay. The fear of the Lord is where wisdom begins. So, why is fearing the Lord the beginning of wisdom? Here are five great ways or reasons why, ladies. And one is because, number one, The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. It relates more to respect and reverence for God than actual fear in its modern definition. Okay. Number two, fearing God is knowing God and this is where true wisdom lies. Proverbs also tells us that people must submit to God's will. By doing so, we acquire wisdom. Okay. We acquire wisdom when we fear God. Okay. And number three, to fear the Lord leads us to respect Him and His laws and honor and respect our husband or husband-to-be. We learn how we are to act and even what we should say by fearing the Lord. Okay. This fear or reverence makes us think before we act or before we speak. As we gain knowledge, we gain wisdom. So, as we gain knowledge, we gain wisdom. Here is a quote. Wisdom is extraordinarily valuable. Wisdom is extraordinarily valuable. It is extraordinarily valuable because number four, fearing God involves knowing and trusting His complete serenity over everything in the universe. And when you have this perspective, you can be definite in knowing that all things are controlled by Him for His good pleasure or His good purpose. Which actually for us, it removes all reasons for anxiety. And you know how anxious and we can get anxious and we can have anxiety, right? Yes, we can, ladies. Definitely. And lastly, ladies, number five, fearing the Lord is the beginning of wisdom because we put our full trust, our full trust in Him. True fear of God, of the Lord, causes believers to place our faith and our trust in Him alone for salvation. Trusting Him to provide, protect, love and watch over us. Trusting Him to put wise, godly leaders in our lives who will protect, who will guide, who will counsel, love and also watch over us. Which brings us to this scripture here. Proverbs 4, verse 7. That was my beginning, opening scripture which says, Do not forsake wisdom and she will protect you. Love her and she will watch over you. Wisdom is supreme, therefore get wisdom. Though it costs all you have, get understanding. So the wisdom here is what we do not forsake, is the wisdom of godly elders. So ladies, all of us can use a wise, godly leader or godly elder to protect us, to love us, to watch over us and instruct us on how to do things right. And teach us all the how-to's. And you know what I always say about the how-to's, it's how to be sober, how to love our husbands, how to love our children, how to be discreet, how to be chaste, how to be keepers of home, how to be good, how to be obedient to our own husband. And that is in Titus chapter 2, verse 3 through 5, which instructs elderly women to do that. How will the elderly women be able to do all of this ladies you may ask? Because by them, by each of them or by you having each of them in your life, by you listening to the sound, by you listening to them always. And all of you who are listening to the sound of my voice, if you were to simply sit or stand or sit and stand in the multitude of wise, godly elders and cleave unto them, they will teach you all of these how-to's, all of these how-to's. And just as I said, when I said to you that they will teach you those how-to's, and you know, I repeat it, how to be sober, how to love your husband, how to love your children, how to be discreet, how to be chaste, how to be good keepers of your own home, how to be good, how to be obedient to your own husband. That's there and that's how they are to instruct us and how to help us to do the how-to's and to do them right in our life and to get it right in our life. Let's look at the scripture again that I had given last week. Ecclesiastes chapter 6 verse 33 through 35 and reading from verse 33 and I read, If thou love to hear, thou shalt receive understanding, and if thou bow thine ear, thou shalt be wise. Verse 34, Stand in the multitude of the elders and cleave unto him that is wise. Number 35 or verse 35, Be willing to hear every godly discourse and let not, not the parables of understanding escape thee. Yes ladies, cleave to wise elders and cleave to them and be willing to hear godly discourse. Meaning ladies, don't forsake wisdom, you don't disrespect elders and you don't ignore their wise counsel. You cleave to them and you learn everything you can observe from them. Because let me tell you something ladies, let me tell you something, let me tell you all something. They speak to you through experiences. Eventually everything you learn from them, you may see or feel like you don't need it now, but you will one day. You will definitely need them and they will become very useful to you in the future. But you have to be able to be in their presence. You can always be in their presence. Being in the presence of an elder and not forsaking them, you don't forsake them. You never do, you don't disrespect them. And you listen to their wise counsel. You don't ignore it, you listen to it. Because they have so much embedded inside of them to teach us. And that's exactly what we want. We want them to teach us and we want them to give us the counsel that we have or they have to give to us. Because we want our marriage to work. We want our marriage to be extraordinary. We see this with elderly people. We see how they sometimes are holding hands. I still see men who are of age, elderly men, opening doors for their wives. And they were married 60 years. I'm talking way older than me. And they're still opening doors. I thank God that my husband, he opens the door for me sometimes. He might pass my door and go to his door. And I'm like, excuse me, you didn't open my door. He'll come back around and he'll open the door. Or he'll say, sometimes he'll joke and he'll say, get your short stuff in the car. It's funny when he says that. Because I'm so used to him, I know what he is. But anyway, yeah, he's my everything. But he'll come and he'll open the door. More times he does than he does not. And that's very, very few. And especially, even in the rain, my husband would stand and open the door for me. That's what I'm calling about you learning something from other people. You getting that wisdom. You're seeing that their marriage is extraordinary. Because they're doing extraordinary things. They're doing things that you would do when you first get married. You would see men would open the door and let their girlfriend in just because they're calling. I told you all about dating. Dating is not good. My second son said that dating is just a practice of getting divorced when you date before you get married. Because it's just like a divorce. You keep going from relationship to relationship to relationship. And that's before marriage. But if you're caught and you get to know one another and you start a relationship, a friendship, and you start developing and having some godly, elderly mentors, transformational influences, counselors in your life, that will instruct you on how to do things right, you will not be jumping from boyfriend to boyfriend and guys will be jumping from girlfriend to girlfriend. And even when you get married, you will be getting divorce, divorce, divorce. Now I'm saying that you've gotten a divorce, but the one you're with, you want to stay with. You don't want to have that to be going into another divorce. You don't want that. You don't want another relationship. You don't want that. You want to remain with the one that you're with. And in order for you to have that extraordinary relationship and extraordinary marriage, what you should be doing is having some wise counsel. Some elderly, wise seniors in your life. People who are going to give you wise counsel. I always, always talk about not letting jaded people in your life. I know this may sound like I am repeating it, but repetition is the key to learning. And some people still don't get it. They don't get it. They go, they want, they have itchy ears. So they go to people who they believe are going to tell them something that is not going to be the right thing that they need to hear. Right? But God wants us to be instructed by elderly people, wise people. They have great marriage. They have great relationship. They have so much knowledge. They have so much experience to give us. He don't want us to forsake that knowledge, that wisdom that they have. He does not want that. And today, so many young people are disrespecting the elders. And they're not listening and they don't think that what they're saying is for today. God's word never change. It is for today, forever. And if you want your marriage to get to the next level, to become extraordinary, to be successful, for you to break that chain of divorce on you, let it break. That chain of divorce that has always been in your whole entire family, let it stop and end with you. It's not going to happen. It's not going to happen because why? It's a new era. It's a new day. I want an extraordinary marriage and my marriage is going to last. And you can have that even before you get married. You can speak those words. Especially how I keep saying, continually repeat the marriage pledge. Write it down, type it out, print it, however you want to do it. But get that in your system and say it. And even if you want to write your own, you can do that. That's okay. As long as you have a pledge, as long as you have words that the word of God says, speak those things that be not as they are and watch and see what will be. But you got to speak it into being because you want it to be. You do not want it to just, you know, not happen. You want that. You want what others have. And if you want what others have, you have to do what they did. You know, they say what others won't. But you have to do, if you want what I have with my husband, you have to do what me and my husband have done before. Alright. So I know, I want us to dive into Receive Wise Counsel from Elders. And I'm going to go more into that. But ladies, I have a song that I want you all to listen to. My Girl, yes, and it's called Shepard, but My Girl by CeCe Winans. I want you to listen to this. So don't you all go anywhere. Don't you touch that dial. Don't you go anywhere. I will be back after this. And I hope you enjoy this song. All our eyes on you, Lord. All our hope in you, Lord. Yes, indeed she is. Our life would be better. I love that song. When we follow Yeshua, Jesus Christ. Follow His godly wisdom. And His godly example. Let Him lead you. And show you the way to the right godly wise elders. So that those who will give you good godly principles and advice. I promise you ladies. I promise you. In doing that you will see drastic changes. And the changes will be for the better. So let them be your shepherd. Let them lead you and guide you. And take you to the place where you need to be. Okay, so before the break. I know I said that I'm going to explain. Why we are to receive wise counsel from elders. Okay, so I mentioned to you all before that. How I grew up around seniors. My grandmother Menel Gertrude Deems. Took me everywhere with her. And all of her friends were old people. Yes, so you know I received wise counsel from elders. So you know ladies. You know what that means right. That I actually hung around them. I hung around these wise seniors a whole lot. I sat and I stood in their presence. And you'll see where these ladies. You'll see where I stood. I mean just by me sometimes speaking. You can hear a lot of things that maybe that I say. That actually came from elderly people. Because they taught me how to. The things that I do by my confidence. My character. My positivity. My joy. And everything that I do. I believe that I've learned from those that I sat in the presence. My friends were actually old people. I really did not have many friends around me. That were my age. Truly I didn't. I had a lot of cousins that I hang with. And people like in my community. But when there wasn't anyone like that. That I hang around with. I actually stood in the presence of elderly or seniors. Some people call it. And that's what I did. And some people say old age. Or the age. But if you all ladies who are listening to me. And you stand in the presence of elderly. Wise elderly. And you cleave to them. And you listen to their parables and wise counsel. I'm telling you. You will definitely. You will conquer all. I'm telling you. I did it. I cleaved to them. I stood by them. I listened to them. I heard their parables. And I listened to their wise counsel. And sometimes I didn't even understand their parables. But listen my dear. I actually understood it after a while. I didn't forsake them. Nor did I forsake what they had to say. I honestly and truly loved. Loved hanging around them. And I still do to this very day. They are full of life. And they are full of laughter. That's one of the things I love to be around them. Because you learn so much. You learn so much. I mean I love hanging with them so much so that Max and I. We then at 28 different senior living facilities. And for those who are around the world don't know exactly what vending is. We take a lot of the senior living. In the senior living facilities a lot of them really can't get out. And their families are busy. Or their family actually live in a different state or city or something that's really far and can't get to them. But maybe months later or something like that. So they always are in need of stuff because they can't get out to the store. So what we do is we bring things into them. And we go each facility which is 28. Only 18 of them I think we go every month. 16 to 18 of them we go every month. But some we go every other month. And only when it's special. But what they do is they let us know what they want. Sometimes the director will send me an email and say well one of the ladies is looking for this. Could you bring it in for them? And then I would do that. That's what we do. We take it into them. And we do this almost every Monday through Friday we are in a facility. And we truly love vending and fellowshipping with them. It's not just selling to them. And I want you to understand it's not just selling to them. It's a ministry we are doing. We bring in the items that they request. We bring in other items too because sometimes they may see something that they might want or see that they need. It's like therapy to them. And it's also for us too. They enjoy shopping with us and they enjoy looking at the items even if they don't even purchase anything. Because some of them don't have money. Some of them their children can't really trust them with funds. So what they do is they might leave it at the front desk or something like that. Or leave it with the director or whatever. And sometimes when it's time for shopping, the directors will say, Well, I have so-and-so for you. Pick out what you want and then I have the money to pay for it. So that's a good thing too. So it's a joy doing it and we love doing it. And even if they don't purchase anything, they sit down sometimes and they just chat with us. They'll sit with us for a good 10, 15, 20 minutes or so and just like talking with us. And that's where we get wisdom from them. And it most certainly has been a joy being in their presence and doing what we do. We love doing what we do and we love doing it. And we love doing it continuously with them because we know that they love being in our presence. And we love taking the stuff to them because they actually need what we take into them. So I know you all get the picture. I know you all get the picture there. But I do hope and I know I digressed a little bit. But I just wanted you all to know what we do. And it's a joy doing it because you learn so much. We learn so much from them. And especially the married couple. There are still some married that are in the facilities. And they've been married for so long. And it's such a joy to really see them. It touches our hearts so much. It brings us joy. Sometimes hair on our body just rise on my hair and all in my arms. It just raises to see, to hear their stories and to hear the things that they've gone through. So I hope I did make it clear on that. And hopefully ladies you all fully understand why I say you don't forsake wisdom. But you cleave and you be willing to hear every godly counsel and advice that we seniors or elders can give to you. So why we are to receive wise counsel from elders. And I will tell you why. Let's go and look at a definition. I want to give you a definition on what God's wisdom is. The definition of God's wisdom is the omniscience of a divine being and the state of being omniscient. And having infinite knowledge. So who on earth have infinite knowledge? Who on this earth have infinite knowledge that you know? Elders. Elders ladies. Elderly women have infinite knowledge. Elders have infinite knowledge. They are filled with wisdom, knowledge and understanding. If it were not so, then God would not have instructed the older men to teach the younger men. And the older women to teach the younger women. So Titus chapter 2 and verse 3. This is where I actually base my entire teachings on. Because I know that's what God has called me to do. God has called me to instruct as an elderly woman to instruct. He has given me the instructions to teach the young women how to. Okay. Then it's not my words. And like I said, I give you scripture. And I've always given you scriptures. Whenever I give you anything, I do like to back it up with scriptures. Okay. So the scripture in Titus was written so that the elderly women would follow this instruction and do just that. Do as God instructed us to do. And so the older women would know that it is wise. Sorry. So the younger women would know that it is wise that they follow wise godly elderly women. And if you listen to them and you continue to listen to them, you will get somewhere. Not listening to your peers and not listening to jaded women. Okay. But having a wise godly elderly woman instructing all of us, even me, even though I might be at the age, I'm 61 years old. But I still can get godly wisdom from a woman who's older than me. I can only give you knowledge up to the age that I am. And also to the years that I've been married and the years that I've been a mother. I can't go beyond that. Okay. I can only give you my experience up to that. But there are women who are older than me and also with my husband who can give us marital counsel up to their experience and up to their age. So that is something that I enjoy knowing that I can go to somebody that is older than me and who instructs me. So having a wise elderly elder who instructing all of us how to do the right thing, how to act the right way and how to speak in the right manner. Always, always allows us to connect with the right source of wisdom ladies. And the right source of wisdom is godly wisdom. I gave you all five of the wisdoms earlier and if you missed it I give it to you again. There is earthly wisdom, there is sensual wisdom, there is intellectual wisdom, there is devilish wisdom and there is also godly wisdom, the fifth wisdom. Okay. And we're going to do a recap on that in the next couple of weeks. But that source that I tell you about that is godly wisdom is the Lord Yeshua Jesus Christ. So ladies please don't shut your mind to what a wise godly elder is telling you and sharing with you. Don't shut your mind from continually learning more from them. Having learned all as long as you live with every opportunity you get, continually learning all you can whenever you can. When you sit in their presence gain all the wisdom you can then go and then gain some more. Okay. Trust me it's worth it. You may think you don't need it right now and you may not even understand it all right now. But eventually ladies you will need it and you will use it. I promise you. You will. You may have gone to college and have received numerous degrees and might be the smartest person on the planet. On this planet earth. Which means nothing. It means nothing if you don't have godly wisdom ladies. Especially from wise godly elders. The smartest set of people get divorced. But I'm telling you if you have godly wisdom and understand exactly your position and what you are to do in your marriage and for your life. Ladies I am telling you. You will succeed. You will excel. You will have an extraordinary marriage and relationship. So what do you do ladies? What we do is what we always been doing and what we will continually do and what we will forever do. We keep listening. We keep learning. We keep gaining wisdom. You may not understand it now like I said before and you may not need it right now. Nonetheless ladies no matter what the situation is. No matter how you are going through whatever storm you are going through. You build your house on this godly wisdom. Your marriage on this godly wisdom. You will not go astray. You will not think. You will not falter. You will not fall. You will stand strong because why? You have godly wisdom and your marriage was built on that. Your marriage was built on the word of God. Your marriage was built on what elderly people have to tell you to do and the way how you do. When they instruct you on how to do it. You will do it that way. Because you follow instruction. I can't understand how is it that we are taught everything. We are so happy to learn everything except to learn how to be a good wife. Good housekeeper. How to love our husband. How to love our children. How to be chaste. How to be discreet. We can learn all of these other things in life but we do not want to learn how to be a good wife. We don't ever go to school for that. We don't ever sit in the presence of someone and ask them how can I be a good wife. What can I do? Many of you probably wouldn't listen. Many of you probably wouldn't do. But if you do and you sit in the presence of them. I'm telling you. Listen. I ask questions and I ask a lot of questions during my time when I sat in the presence of these wise elderly women with my grandmother. Manel Gertrud Deems when she took me to places. There's an island in the Bahamas that I grew up on. I was not born there. I was born in Bimini, Bahamas. But I grew up on Rolltown, Exuma, Bahamas. A beautiful settlement. Beautiful island. They say Exuma is where God lives. I'm telling you. It is so rich and beautiful. The waters are clear and crystal. And there is a little key that you can walk called Manawaki. When the tide is low, you can walk across there. But make sure you don't get caught because you'll get stuck on that island. On that key. And you'll have to wait. There's nothing on that key but a bunch of cocoa plums and sea grapes and other delicious fruits that you can enjoy fresh. But it's a beautiful island. And it's from Williamstown to Rollville. I went with my grandmother. My grandmother was a midwife who delivered babies. And she taught me a lot. Yes. People thought I was going to be a nurse or a midwife myself. But I'm sorry to disappoint them because I do not like blood like that. And for what I saw my grandmother went through, I could not do it. Truly. But I went with her to many places. And like I said, many of the people that she saw in the presence of and had me around as a little young girl, then preteen, I went with her and I learned. I learned a lot. I learned a lot. And I even learned when my second child, second son and child, he was breech. And the doctor said that they're going to have to do a C-section. But my grandmother taught me about C-section and taught me about breech. And I wasn't having it. I was not going to have a C-section. And I knew how to turn the baby. And I turned him and his head was down just before time for delivery. And thank the Lord, his head was down because the umbilical cord was around his neck. And if the doctor, if he was breech, I don't know. Wow. It was really tight around his neck. And the doctor had to untangle that. And it was like a telephone cord, how it was really wrapped around his neck and how tangled it was. That's how, yes, it was. So imagine if I did not turn him and if I decided that I didn't want a C-section. I would not have had my son today. He would not be alive today. But I thank God that I learned a lot from my grandmother. And I tell you, wise people can teach you some things beyond your imagination or beyond what you can ever learn in school. I'm telling you because what they would teach you, you would never learn those things in school. Never, ever. I'm telling you, you won't. I have, I've sat with all these old people growing up and never once heard anything that they taught me in high school and the colleges and the institutions that I have gone, institutes that I have gone to online or nothing. None, nada, none. I'm telling you. But listen, ladies, that's okay. You learn as you go and you grow as you go. And the elderly will help you and they would make you wiser than your wildest dreams. So, well, ladies, I do hope I gave clear reasons on why you shouldn't forsake wisdom and wise counsel from an elder. Yes, indeed, because my time is up. And once again, I have come to the end of another teaching for this week. Yep, that's it for this week, ladies. And this week's teaching and training, yes, indeed, godly elders are filled with godly wisdom. Oh, yes, which is God's wisdom. And I want you to take that as a quote. Godly elders are filled with godly wisdom, which is God's wisdom. Okay. So, next week, ladies, I will be continuing on this series again with the five classes of wisdom that will enhance or destroy your marriage. I hope you're not getting bored with this series, because this really has been an awesome one. I promise you, we're coming up to the end. We have two more, maybe, weeks to go on this. But next week, we will definitely continue that series, the five classes of wisdom that will enhance or destroy your marriage. And I promise you, I know I promised that today would be the day when I would teach on proverbs, why proverbs define wisdom as feminine. But, I'm sorry, I had so much vital information on why you shouldn't forsake wisdom and wise counsel from an elder, that I had to give it time. And I ran out of time, and it was a lot of vital information about that. And I realized that, too, that wisdom as feminine has to have a whole teaching by itself. It just could not fit in with this. Okay. It has to be done by itself. And I promise you, it is going to be juicy, ladies. I promise you, it's going to be juicy, so much so, you're going to even want your husband or husband-to-be to listen in on it. I'm telling you, you would want them. You're going to probably even tease them a little bit. I always tease my husband. I say, listen, you may think you're smart, but wisdom is actually feminine. Just remember that. Okay. So, ladies, just invite friends to tune in next week, especially if you know anyone with a troubled marriage. Invite them to come along. Invite them to listen in. Tune in.
