What is going on everybody welcome back to the comic book nerd where of course we talk all things major Maybe television news in today's video We have some Star Wars news that we're going to go over not Marvel news today But Star Wars news as we have echo releasing tonight as well, so happy release day for echo We will not be doing a watch party here at the channel But we're going to talk about it and break down pretty much one through five talk about recaps as well as we hit that grind on the channel as well if you missed yesterday's couple of videos I Posted two videos you guys getting two videos today regarding echo and of course regarding this Star Wars news as well So if you guys are into Marvel Star Wars BC news be sure to drop a like subscribe Turn that Bell on so you guys don't miss out on any of the latest videos We are going to be grinding this year as well So I'm hoping to get on that YouTube grind so we can go back up to the top But for now let's go ahead and break down this breaking news from Marvel or from Star Wars rather not Marvel So number one really quickly. I want to say that Ahsoka season 2 has officially been in development This has been confirmed by Star Wars now as of today as well I'm wondering number one who's going to be producing on this show is Kathleen Kennedy going to help with this show Are they just going to let it do its own thing going off of season 2 or season 1 I'm wondering How this is going to set up Star Wars for the future But I'm very very excited for Ahsoka season 2 as season 1 was phenomenal I'm expecting the same outcome from season 2 as well and that Disney and Lucasfilm crew that worked on this series I'm expecting the same technology that they use the same everything for Ahsoka season 2 But I'm expecting bigger and better things to come out of season 2 if you guys know what I'm saying expect a lot But for now, it has been confirmed that Ahsoka season 2 has officially in development over at Lucasfilm Now, of course the next thing and the major news that we got to talk about on today's video or channel I guess you would say is the Mandalorian and Grogu movie is officially in the works Jon Favreau set to direct with Kathleen Kennedy going to produce So this is huge news because I'm wondering if they're going away with Mando season 5 and if they're just going to produce this film Instead now we know that season 4 I believe is going to be or has been worked on their production for season 4 but I'm wondering if they're going to stop at the fourth season and Eventually set this film up and I'm wondering number one if Pedro Pascal is going to return as the Mandalorian We've heard rumors that he's going to be mr. Fantastic in the Marvel Cinematic Universe so that that is true I'm wondering if that or if it's going to conflict with any of the scheduling issues might I add as well But Grogu and Mandalorian movie is in the works over in Lucasfilm. Very very excited. Jon Favreau is going to direct I think that's the right person for the job over at Marvel Studios or over at Star Wars Sorry, I've been talking about Marvel for too much, but over at Star Wars I think Jon Favreau does a fantastic job with the Clone Wars. They're going to do great with this movie This movie is going to set up a lot for the Clone Wars and the or the Clone Wars Saga I think this movie is of course going to probably show Ahsoka give us some background on the Clone Wars and what they're going to set up in the future of Star Wars regarding Clone Wars So I'm very excited to see how this movie is going to be setting up the future of the Star Wars universe Or at least the Mandalorian corner of the Star Wars universe. We know that they're having more movies and development There's a Rey movie that's going to be in development very very soon There's also going to be another Jedi movie that's going to be a development as well so Star Wars is about to make its return to the theatrical or To the theater and that's where Star Wars and Marvel both belong.
