Jonathan Harnisch's book, "The Brutal Truth," explores his experiences with schizophrenia and mental illnesses. He believes that the strongest individuals are not those who display strength to the world, but those who fight unseen battles. In his podcast, "Married to Mental Illness," Christine discusses these battles and the fight for our lives against mental illness. In his book, The Brutal Truth, a collection of essays about his schizophrenia and mental illnesses, writer and director Jonathan Harnisch wrote, the strongest people are not those who show strength in front of the world, but those who fight and win battles that others do not know anything about. It is those battles we will be discussing, the wins and losses on a battleground most do not know exist, and others choose to deny, and fought not against our enemy, nevertheless, it is a fight for our lives. I am Christine, and this is Married to Mental Illness.
