The Psalm is about knowing that Yahweh has become a shield and covers us with glory. It talks about lifting heads and having hope in God's love. We set our hopes on the everlasting King, the Lord. The Psalm is saying, in the book of Psalms 3 verse 3, I'll take it from the Passion Translation, but in the depth of my heart, I truly know that Yahweh has become my shield. He takes me and surrounds me with Himself. He covers me with His glory. His glory continually covers me. He leads high my head. And because He covers me, He takes me and surrounds me with Himself, I know that when men say there is a casting down, I'll say there is a lifting up.
