The speaker is talking about being up early in the morning and working on his sound room. He asked his son for help and they cleaned the gutters together. He also mentioned wanting to redo a room and getting into recording and podcasting. He likes social media because it allows him to look back on memories of his wife. He wants to leave behind audio and video as a form of therapy. He talks about blocking people's posts on Facebook and the possibility of starting a podcast. He mentions his love for music and how he owns multiple violins. He talks about playing in his high school reunion concert and wanting to inspire others to continue playing instruments. He expresses his desire to donate his instruments to a school after he passes away. He talks about his son's plans for fireworks and his dislike for marshmallow peeps. He also mentions his love for bright colors and his tie-dye upbringing. He signs off and mentions recording more in the future. Oh, hey, good morning people. Well, for me it's morning. It's 247 AM. What am I doing up? I am playing in my new and improved sound room. My son came over today. I asked for help. I finally broke down and asked for help. And he came by and he helped. What I would like is, you know, to redo this one room. I got this week off. And I just asked for help. He came by and cleaned up my gutters for me. Saved me lots of money. Having someone else do it. Yeah, I gave him some money. And yeah, worth his time. He could have chose what was inside the box. Didn't do it. But anyway, I asked him some questions on this. And I guess I'm on Spotify now. Or going on Spotify. I'm going on other apps. But I'm asking him about recording stuff because he's got his own podcast. And you know, people have been giving me this hint that I should have one. Why should I have one? Because I love social media. The one thing I like about the app Facebook is it will tell you, you know, what, you know, you posted a year ago, two years ago, three years ago. And my wife, there's videos of her. And also my Google Photos app. There's photos and videos of her. And I really, really wish there was more. If I could turn back the clock about eight years, I would just love to just video her, do audios, you know, when we're somewhere, make videos. Because I don't hear enough of her voice. And so this is my therapy. You guys, anybody listening, is my therapy. And so when I go, I would like to leave stuff behind. And audio, video, and you know, I'll just do a lot of social media. And sometimes, you know, people don't want to watch. Hey, that's cool. There's a lot of stuff I don't want to look at. And I just keep scrolling by and something else. There's stuff that people on my friends list, they would post stuff. And I would, you know, like, oh, they keep on sharing this kind of stuff. I think I'll block them for, you know, their posts for a week or 30 days or something. And they can see mine, I can't see theirs. But you know, or I'll go to it later on. You know, you don't have to look at it, you don't have to listen to it. But there's some things you feel you have to say. And there's just a lot of things that I say to people, and they get fascinated. And there's things I tell people like, hey, you already told me that before. Like, oh, okay, well, it's just, it's a part of me. So my nice little studio, I can say, it's a work in the making. And I'm anxious to get this going and, and see what I can turn it into. I will probably ask somebody else who has a studio, if they can come over and help decorate it some more. I need somebody that can take care of gutter drains. I got one that's needs to come apart. It's got a lot of gunk in it. So my son got like 90% of the gutters and drains, there's one that's, you know, a little bit of a butthead. See if anything can be done about it. I don't know. But this week, I'm off work this week, one week from Ford Motor Company, not the usual two week shutdown. I wish it was two weeks. Because I'd like to, you know, take some days and do stuff. But now I got to cram two weeks of stuff I want to do into one week. And so here I go, and I'm making this attempt. So now we're going into Tuesday. Oh, we are in Tuesday, July 4 Independence Day. Happy Independence Day, America. Other countries, yeah, you got to go to work. But we got a day off. Actually, a lot of people, they made it so it's a four day weekend. Very smart. Okay, enjoy. That's an app, Words with Friends. Anywho, I'm anxious to get things going. I got some pedals set I want to hook up together. I got so that my violins, plural. I'm the proud owner of three electric violins, one acoustic electric, and one acoustic. And it feels great to say that, I have an acoustic violin. People say, don't you mean guitar? No, violin. If I play something for you on this audio, you know, the answer would be pretty, like, obvious now. But if I play something for you, and you are about as old as I am, I am 59 years old. If you are around my age, older, younger, and I play something for you, and then you can easily identify the song. I'll just play just a little bit of it. And people would be like, whoa, Peter Frampton, do you feel like we do? Like, yeah. But what if I told you this wasn't a guitar? And it wasn't Peter Frampton. What if I told you it was a woman named Nina, and she's playing this on an electric violin, hooked up to a talk box? Now what if I told you that I own a talk box? Oh, good part. I'd play this at work, and people are like, that's so cool. I'd show them the video. They're like, huh? Yeah. I'm the youngest of seven kids, and I was raised on Motown music and what is now classic rock. And I just cannot sit in an orchestra class. No. Every springtime spring concert, my old high school, William O'Reilly High School in Wayne, Michigan, they invite alumni to come back to play one song, You'll Never Walk Alone. I took, not only did I take my electric violin, and they wouldn't let me plug it in, but this one is acrylic, and it has lights. So when the teacher put his baton and his hand up to get us to start this song, I hit some lights, and the violin turned blue, and yellow lights went up the bow, school colors, blue and gold. And yeah, all eyes on me, okay? And I didn't see anybody's videos of their kid up there playing, but there was people taking video, and I'm certain I was in a lot of those videos. I just want to show the kids that there is life after high school. If you played an instrument and you stopped, why did you stop? You know, there's kids out there that desire to play, but their parents can't afford instruments. I told my children, upon my death, I would like for them to donate my instruments to a school so that kids can have one if they want to play. I'll put little notes inside each violin case saying, Dear new owner, please don't put me away, leave me out somewhere so that I can be seen, and you can just pick it up and start playing any time you want. My central air conditioning just kicked on. Is it that hot in the house? It's 69 degrees outside currently, and it's going to up to 88 degrees later today. Don't have any chance of rain, but I'm asking my son, is there going to be fireworks at your house? He goes, I don't know. I've got some marshmallow peeps to tape to those bottle rockets and explosives. I've got a stuffed animal peep that can blow up too. Marshmallow peeps, one tastes great and you like it. You go to eat a second one, and okay, not as good as the first one. The third one just tastes downright nasty. Mainly also they come out mostly during Easter time. I'm really, what does peeps have to do with Easter? Has nothing to do with Easter. Peeps must die. We come up with different ways to kill them. I snowblower through one 12 feet, lawnmower, chopped it up just nicely. Somebody dissolved one in a beaker full of, I don't know what it was, but that young lady is so demented and weird. I'm the one killing marshmallow peeps and telling people about it. Run them over with a car. I impaled one on the neighbor's car antenna. Red car, black antenna, yellow peep. He didn't even see it. He drove around with it on his car to the grocery store, came back, had groceries. It's still on his car. Like did he know it was there? Invited to a friend's house and we're lighting off fireworks in the daytime, you know, and he's barbecue in the backyard. He comes out, you know, we usually wait till nighttime to do this. I said, not this way. And he's seeing what I'm doing. Now I got all of his company and his neighbors out and we're blowing up marshmallow peeps that way. And he's telling me the next day he went out to pick up the debris in his yard and he's stepping in peep guts. You know, that's what you went barefoot out there. You got a dog too, dude. Oh, anyway. Um, three o'clock, I need to wake up around noon one. And I know I'm just going to be laying there playing on my phone. So I should be getting off of this. Should have done this a lot earlier, but you know, procrastination and oh, look, someone posted a nice video. It looks kind of funny. Look, there's a one of a funny good looking cat. Okay. So I really need to get off of this. But anyway, I'm just starting this out. New app. I'd like to thank my son, Tim, for helping me out there. Maybe we can come back another day and do a little bit more decorating, put some lights up because I like bright colors. Always liked it. I grew up with a tie dye, black lights, the smell of burning incense. It's what you get when you have older siblings. Anyway, um, I'm going to get off of this and yeah, I'll be recording a lot more later. So this is, I guess, call it season one A. Because this is a new app I'm doing this. Um, talk to y'all later. Gotta go. Night.
