You are now tuned into the most ignorant podcast in America. This is the Unemployment Line. I'm the D.O.K. and I'm sitting here with my main man Larry P. What you got to say my man? Anthony Hamilton once said, I want to quote this man correctly so everybody can understand what he said. But Anthony Hamilton once said in a song, We don't need no groceries. We can live off of love alone. And I think that's why Charlene left him. Okay, let's pull over right there. Because this goes back to our whole conversation about After 7. And please, y'all stop at me. I know who it is now. They asking you about After 7? Yes. How you don't know who After 7? You don't remember this song? Send me pictures, videos. I know who they are. Okay. But again, they only got like one song. They have a lot of songs. They only got like one song that I am familiar with. I mean they came out with like three albums. And their second album was kind of like a flop. So it is what it is. So here's the point. These R&B singers just be saying whatever. They don't make R&B songs like they used to back in the day. Because they used to say whatever. Like every time I hear that song, Anthony Hamilton say, We don't need no groceries. We can live off love alone. And I'm like, Huh? Like just imagine, you know, being with Anthony Hamilton. And she said, Anthony, I'm hungry. Baby, we don't need no food. Jodeci said, It's been an hour since you've been gone. Can't live without you. Bruh, she's been gone an hour, KC. An hour. One hour. Boyz II Men once said, Baby, all them nights that you was gone, creeping around with that other man, I knew. I just didn't care. And then went to sing for her to come back. Mario Winans said, I don't want to know. If you playing me, keep it on the low. My heart can't take it anymore. And if you're cheating, please don't let it show. All this man wanted her to do was cheat respectfully. And Carl Thomas once got mad at a woman for choosing her family over him. That man was so butt hurt because she chose her family. She chose her husband and kids over him. And he wished that he never met her now. What kind of question is that? Never met her at all. Why are you mad at that? He mad at women for being faithful. Oh, man. Speaking of being mad at women, what are we talking about this week? This week, I know we talked about rap beef. They was listening, Larry. They was listening. Yeah, rap beef. We talked about rap beef like friggin' two shows ago. And we seem to be continuously talking about it because it is still going on. Oh, it got better, though. It got a lot toasty, you know. Drake came out with this A.I. created song. And then Drake claimed the A.I. Let me start there. I want to start there. So for those of you who are unfamiliar. And probably by the time, like, we're recording this show like a couple of days before it's going to be released. And by the time it's released, something else might be going on. Maybe something else. Because the last time we talked about rap beef, we had a whole thing in a can. We talked all about this rap beef. And then J. Cole apologized. J. Cole came out and apologized. Three days later, I was like, bro, you're messing up the show. So we'll go back to that. But what is your thoughts on the use of A.I. in rap beef? Well, even in songs in general. Well, I think, I don't think it's the artist doing the A.I. I think it's, like, these people using the A.I. Which it comes, it boils down to, like, copyright infringement. Well, I thought Drake's, this song, he actually signed off on that one. When it had, like, Snoop's voice and, was it Tupac's voice? Oh, yeah, so he did that one. They said he did that one. Yeah, why? I don't know. That was corny. Yeah, that one was corny. That was pretty corny. And my thing is, if I'm Snoop Dogg, like, it's one thing, like, Tupac is no longer with us. If I'm Snoop, I gotta go see Drake about that. Yeah. Like, don't be out here using my voice to disrespect Kendrick Lamar. And don't use my voice and be whack. Yeah. Like, Drake is capable of much more than that. But it seems like everybody coming for him specifically. They said that's the true definition of ghost writing, though. Him writing for Tupac. That's next level ghost writing, bruh. I'm just saying. Unless Tupac is actually still with us. I mean, honestly, as we talked about before the show, everybody keeps saying Jesus coming back. And, you know, all right, he'll come back. Everybody keeps saying Tupac is alive since I've been in elementary school. And at this point, I'm like, OK. Tupac died allegedly in 96. The way technology is nowadays, somebody would have, like, had a video of him. He would have been on somebody's Snapchat or something. But I also feel like there would have been a video of something, like, of whatever happened that night. Like, I watched this whole Tupac documentary recently. And it was like a series on, I think it was FX. And it was like breaking out Tupac's life and death and all of these things and legacy. And I'm still, as someone who's been to Vegas a few times, I'm still trying to understand. Don't nobody know nothing? Don't nobody know nothing? Well, I'm just saying it seems like the more that we talk about it, the more they put documentaries out about that Tupac situation. It just seems more like a setup to me. A setup about whom? The documentary would like you to believe that it might have been the government. Now, I'm not saying, I'm not saying it was the government. I'm just saying what the documentary hinted at. So it's three people. There's always three people in this situation. You know what I'm saying? You got the government. You got Suge. And you got P. Diddy. And it sounds like the government asked for P. Diddy right now. Oh, that might be. See, I feel like within the next, by the time this show is released, it's going to be uncovered. That P. Diddy was the mastermind in collaboration with the government. To take out Tupac. And Biggie. Both of them. And then he get paid for it. And that's how we have established Bad Boy as a staff record label and crew all of these years. And his empire started from the murder of Tupac and Biggie. It's really deep. So that's why you do all the stuff like peeing on girls and doing, what was he peeing on? You don't know. That was R. Kelly. But he peed. No, he liked to get peed on. I don't know. I think that's what I read. Miami. Miami said something like that. Either she he peed on her or she peed on him. But somebody was getting peed on. OK, so back to what we were talking about. So everybody coming after Drake most recently and most probably most persistently is Rick Ross for some reason. Why? What is they beef about? I don't know. You know, Rick Ross will tell you that he did a cease and desist on French Montana. But I think Rick Ross's girlfriend before. The last girlfriend. Said like years ago that Rick Ross and Drake ain't like each other no more. And I don't know. But they've done a lot of songs together. I mean, and that's just life, man. I think this is the point that we that needs to be made here. And I think this is a clear understanding because everybody's like, oh, Rick Ross. Oh, Drake. Oh, y'all have so much success. Rick Ross, your career is thankful. You need to thank Drake for your career and stuff like that. And it's like, OK, it's cool. It's cool to rock with people. It's cool to be cool with people. But it's also cool to part ways. Maybe you could do this show for like the next 20, 30 years. And then one day, you know, we break up like the five heartbeats, like Doug and his brother. And then don't talk for several years until we see each other at the cookout. But I'm just saying it is life. You know, maybe we outgrow each other. People outgrow each other. And it's fine. You can have success with people. But I don't know. I want to focus in on those like why. Why people can't mutually agree to part ways. Why it always got to be beef. Like I'll give you a good example. Outcast. I don't know if they got beef or not. I just know they don't do stuff together. They don't do songs together no more. I saw a video. And I guess it may have been after the producer that just recently passed. I can't think of. Dungeon Family. For the Dungeon Family, I think all of them got together and stuff. So I did see like a big boy, a video of big boy and Andre 3000 taking a picture together and stuff. And like they kind of like were dapping each other up. Like, man, it's good to see you. And I was like, dang. Y'all don't talk no more? Well, see, that's the evolution of life, though. So you, life, you go through phases and seasons. And, you know, there are people that you might rock with hard in like in your 20s, like y'all together every day. Y'all together. You know, you going out. Y'all going out on weekends together. Y'all vacationing together. Y'all calling each other to check in on one another. You might, you know, get older, get a family, go into your 30s, see each other every so often. And one day you look up, you like 33 years old and like your best friend from college. You ain't talked to them in a year. Mm hmm. Like that could happen. Yeah. In real life. My my thing is with Rick Ross and Drake. It seems like it is also turned into a it seems to be some level of betrayal that Rick Ross feels because he seems hurt. Because because the Drake this that Drake put out, he didn't even name Rick Ross in this. And then all of a sudden Rick Ross was like, I got it. I'm about to diss Drake, too. It's like no. That's where you come from. And that's what's been so interesting about these beefs is like. So the chronology, as I understand it, is there was some subliminals in the music. Kendrick said something that must have triggered some people. And then J. Cole came out and was very direct in his attacks on Kendrick. And then he apologized. And he's whack. He apologized. And I'm not going to get into it with J. Cole fans again. No, I get into it right now. And this is what I got people. I need you to understand this. I need people to understand this. Like I understood. I listened to the J. Cole apology. I understood it. I understood it wholeheartedly. I was like, that sounds like something Cole would do. But at the same time, I've used this analogy from time to time. And I'm going to use this analogy every time when I talk about rabbit beef. You don't step into the octagon, not expecting to see blood. Like if you step in there, you got to see the blood like it's the rap game. You know what I mean? Like I told my own boy, I was like, I was like J. Cole apologizing is basically like me joining the Crips and then say it to the blood. Amen. I don't want no problems. Y'all like you in the rap game. No, it's not even just that is you joining the Crips, going in front of the blood, throwing up gang signs. And then as they approach you say, Hey man, let me take this rag off and lay it down. I was tripping. You know what I'm saying? Hey, if anybody knows the blood is the best gang in the world, huh? Which auto, you know, I realized as I was throwing up them gang signs that this isn't something that I should be a part of. And I respect y'all enough to come to you to say, you know, here's my bandana. Y'all can have it. I don't even want that. That's the lamest thing I've ever done. And then, and then come back and turn around and look at the rest of the Crips while they looking confused. Like, see, if y'all, if y'all can't respect that, then that's just because y'all not mature enough. Y'all don't understand. And then, and then to double back on that, you got Chris Brown coming out here saying what he said, the Quavo speaking of blood and everybody saying that Chris Brown went too far. And I'm like, it's beef. Ain't no too far. Tupac once said, that's why FCOB you fat MFA. Like at that point, Pusha T once said, he is sick, sick, sick. He bout to die. Tick, tick, tick. I was like, Pusha. Yeah. Like at some point, like rap beef is rap beef. Like you can't, you can't put on training wheels or put on like, Oh, y'all need to put on padded gloves for this, for this fight. Like if you really don't like somebody, you really don't like them. Which circles back to R&B singers being absolutely insane. Why is the most gangster person in rap beef right now? Christopher Maurice Brown, because Christopher Maurice Brown is a thug that can sing at the end of the day. Nobody mess with Chris Brown. Like, you know, it's a lot of people that you realize, like you'd look at them singers. You'd be like, man, he ain't really about that life. He ain't tough. Chris Brown is the type of dude who pulls up, they jump in the car, they go do a drive by and they'd be like, let's get out of here. Let's get out of here. Nah, nah, nah. Let me go out here and take a picture. I want them to know it was me. Chris Brown, like defies all like odds and like all, uh, laws of, uh, you know, the, the, the physics of life, because they say like a man that beats on women, can't, can't fight me. You know, they go, you can beat him up cause he beat up women. No, not Chris Brown. Chris Brown gave us so much to digest in his, um, in his diss track. What was weakest link? Weakest link. Like cause Chris Brown address, not only allegations against him, he also was able to utilize that as fuel to insult Quavo. Because he's like, are you calling me a woman beat? You're a woman beater too. We got it on video. We both want to beat us. Don't call me no woman beater. You watch too. Talking about you smashed my girl. I smashed your girl. Why y'all was together. So we'd be sitting somewhere like, wait a second now. Yeah. And I was, I was thinking about that the whole time. Like, so we, so we caught the, the, the, the stress of bullets. So we, so we'd be sitting there eating her Wheaties in the morning time. And then she get a text message. You smashed Chris Brown. Huh? Well, she didn't even get text messages cause she was somebody new now. She wasn't even one of them. Her current man rolls over like, wait a second. You hit, you smashed Chris Brown. Who was that? YG? One of them. I think YG might be the dude she with now. Ain't YG a blood dude? Hmm. That's wrong Quavo. He wasn't hood enough. When we come back, we're going to talk about, is there such a thing as too far? It's down to Plymouth.
