Nike Switch

The Nike Switch commercial from 2016 featured Cristiano Ronaldo and promoted the Superfly 7 boots. In the commercial, Ronaldo and a ball boy switch bodies, with Ronaldo struggling in the boy's body and the boy excelling in Ronaldo's body. Eventually, they switch back and continue playing as if nothing happened. It was a popular commercial in the soccer community. What's up, it's Keegan here back again with another podcast and today we're going to be talking about the Nike Switch commercial that was made in 2016 and it was a big commercial to promote, I mean, Nike and one of its biggest players they've ever signed which is Cristiano Ronaldo and this commercial was big back in the day, it was promoting one of the best boots of its time, the Superfly 7 and yeah, it was one of the greatest boots of its time in 2016 and everyone wanted it and this commercial kind of put it out there for everyone to see and yeah, it was a big staple in the soccer community. So, this commercial is kind of about Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the greatest players, he's playing a game and trips over the advertising boards and collides with one of the ball boys on the side of the field and I don't know what it is but something happens between the two of them and they kind of switch lives so the boy becomes, or the boy is in Ronaldo's body while Ronaldo is in the boy's body and mind you, this kid isn't very good at soccer and so he's in Ronaldo's body with no skill kind of making him look bad so he has to kind of grind and get better to live up to Ronaldo's legacy because he's living in his body whereas Ronaldo in the kid's body is kind of doing what he usually does and being one of the greatest players in soccer and people recognize that, friends see that and they're like, he's not what he used to be and he slowly starts climbing up in teams and he keeps making his way through the ranks and eventually playing for the England national team and who he's playing against in that game is Ronaldo aka himself in his body while Ronaldo is in the kid's body playing against himself if that makes sense but it's kind of confusing towards the end but during the game they end up colliding again and switching back to themselves and kind of just going on like nothing happened during the game and yeah, that's kind of all it was summed up in the one and yeah.
