So, today was the time change, which means we got one less hour of sleep, so it's been kind of a slow morning, I think. The clouds are out, it's a kind of gray day, I'm pretty tired. But, it doesn't mean we can't have some cool music to listen to. This set today is rather a much more slow set. That being said, the first song I have for you guys today is called Hard to Find by the American Analog Set from their 2003 album Promise of Love. I really like this song, especially the beginning. The beginning has like a very slow, chill beat, which I think is really cool for today. You're laying down in bed this morning and this song, like the beginning, I think really goes with the vibe. This song I think was one of my favorites last year. I would usually ride the train a lot over the summer from Santa Barbara back home where I live in San Diego. And I would do that whenever I needed to like gather perspective all my life because, I don't know, sometimes you just have those times I guess. But I would listen to this song a lot on the train rides and it really just put me in that mood to think about my life but in a cool way. I would think of my life as if I'm super cool to make myself feel better I guess, I don't know. And the song you listened to before that was Time by Basement from their 2012 album Color Me In Kindness. I was really into this song a lot last year as well. My favorite lyrics from the song are when they say, I don't want you, I just need to be loved. I really resonated with these lyrics last year, not gonna lie. I thought it was really funny. But I really love this entire album with their whole angst and moodiness. I think they're really cool. And then before that we listened to Maybe Someday by Slick from their 1998 album The Perfect Kelly Light. I like how slow this one is and the vocals on this one. It reminds me of those 2004 Stad music with a bit of emo which I think fits the cloudy weather of this morning which is why I thought it would be really cool to play. Before that we listened to Hard To Find by the American Analog Set from their 2003 album How Much I Love. Again, the beat is very chill of the song and laid back which I thought was really cool. It could be a cool song to ride your bike to to feel like the main character. Super contemplative over an issue you're having I guess in a movie, I don't know. But yeah, I really like those songs. And this next song also starts off a little slow. It's called I Hate It Too by Hum from their 1995 album You Prefer an Astronaut. I really love this song. I think the beginning is very cool.
