In years felt like four seasons of winter Ain't given anything to you to feel the sun Always reaching, always climbing Always second guessing the timing But God has a plan, a purpose in this You are his child, and don't you forget Lord, I come before you today and I lift up each and every person listening I ask that you open their ears, their hearts, and their minds, Lord I want to thank you, I want to praise you, and I want to glorify you Because without you, none of this would be possible I pray all of this in Jesus' name, amen Hey there, it's Anna with God's Podcast I hope everyone is having a wonderful week and it continues in your weekend And that you get to enjoy the sun, the warmth, and hopefully get to get out this weekend And enjoy family, friends, or whatever it is that you may be doing Today I would like to talk about what it means to walk with Jesus To live a life in Jesus To be more like Jesus And I bring this up because lately you've seen a lot of celebrities Thanking God for the gifts that he has given them Which I am ecstatic about I am so happy to see that But like I've said previously in other episodes There are many sheep out there that are wearing wolves' clothing So be aware Because not everyone who is thanking God or expressing their love for Jesus Is truly living a life that represents Jesus Sometimes they're doing it just for the fame Or to be recognized So all I'm saying is just be aware And this has made me think quite a bit about my own life I love Jesus I love talking about Jesus I love sharing about Jesus I love praying for others And when I do so Sometimes I get questioned Sometimes I get the question of Why do you always talk about God? Why do you always talk about Jesus? Why do you always go back to the Bible? Why do you always think that that is the only answer? Not everyone believes what you believe And that is okay The Bible talks about this It says The more that you're going to follow me The more that you're going to spread my word The more that you're going to share me with others You are going to be martyred for it You are going to look down upon for it But my hope is And this is the reason why I do it This is the reason why my heart is so full Because if I can give others what God has given me And I reach just one person And they realize and see the light of Jesus shine through me And help them change their life And surrender to God And give them the ability to feel his love To feel his peace Then I have fulfilled what God has been telling me to do I have been obeying what God has been telling me to do Because we all need Jesus We all need God We are all searching for love We are all searching for that peace And God is the only answer God is the only one who can give you that So when you study his word You listen to his voice It allows you to have that love That understanding That peace A lot of people think That just because you follow Jesus And you love Jesus And you talk about him That you are going through a phase That you have been through something so traumatic That you are not living true to what you really want That it's just a persona That it's just an act But they are so wrong If they could only know That once you surrender your heart When you surrender your life It is a lifestyle It is a change That old you is gone That person no longer exists That person has died Yes you still commit sins Yes you are going to fail Yes you are going to fall But ultimately The love that God gives you The unconditional love that he has for you The mercy The grace The forgiveness That is amazing And I will never dim my light for that Because God gave me a new life This is my lifestyle Not a phase Not a fad It's not something that I'm just going through for the moment I have always loved God But I didn't always live a life That represented God That is the difference And this is who I am This is who God made me to be And I have realized That without God You will never be satisfied You will always yearn for something more You will always want something that you can't have Your heart will never be full and satisfied Without God And what would a future be like? Yes Dreaming of things for the future And your purpose And what you want to accomplish And if you're not doing it for God Will default your way of thinking You'll want the power You'll want the money You'll want all the lavish things That this earth has to offer But it will never satisfy you If you don't live a life in Christ That is what I'm trying to tell you It is not a fad or a phase It is a way of life It is a way that your heart has changed Into loving like Jesus loves Living like Jesus lived That the things of this earth are not important Because the importance is eternal life with God And when I talk about live a life in God And of God I'm not talking about just by posting things to your social media About Bible verses Or that you love God Or that you want people to know that you're a Christian Or like it's just a facade sort of say I'm talking about really digging deep and listening to God Listening to His words Getting discernment from Him Opening His Bible Because ultimately that Bible has all the answers That you are searching for In this thing that we call life None of us know what the future is going to hold Except for God Because He has all the plans And all the purpose for each of us Because He made us in His image He made us for His purpose And you think Yeah okay if He has a purpose for me He's going to show me the plan And sometimes it doesn't work that way Sometimes He does show you what He wants you to do And He'll tell you But we miss the calling of what He's telling us to do We miss certain things that He shows us Because we're not in Him We are not truly surrendered to Him Living a life in Christ means Taking time out of your day Making time for God Whether it's sitting in silence Whether it's in prayer Whether it's in His Bible Whether it's learning about Him Taking the time to get to know Him Giving up your time for Him We ultimately are busy people We make time for so many things Like working out Spending time with our family Going to the movies Going to the mall shopping Going on vacation Going here, going there Doing this, doing that But we don't make time in our day For what's really important What's ultimately going to make or break our eternal life After we are here on earth That is what I'm trying to explain to you If you don't live a life in Christ Or for Christ Aren't you afraid of the day when judgment comes And God either tells you, you are welcome Or get away from me For I do not know you That scares me Because I want eternal life with God So when people come and talk about how I am always talking about God Or I'm always bringing up God Or I'm always bringing up the Bible Or I try to look at things positively Or why can't you just be like everybody else Because that's not who God made me to be And I will never be ashamed of it And if you don't want to talk about God And you don't want to listen to me That's your choice God gives us free choice That's the beauty of God He doesn't force you to follow Him He allows you to make that choice Either you can choose Him Or you don't have to But in the end You'll be the only one Who has to deal with the outcome of your choice And this brings me exactly to what I was talking about You are going to have issues with people Not wanting to hear about God Not wanting to know about God Not wanting to have that conversation In every conversation that you have with them Whether it be good or bad Whether it be insightful Or you just sharing or praying for someone else And that is okay Don't let that defer you from shining your light That God gave you God's love God's mercy God's grace Is so much more than just that It is something that is so hard to explain Unless you experience it Because it is like nothing Nothing I have ever experienced here on earth And for that I will never stop talking about God I will never stop praying for others I will never stop uplifting others Or telling them that they need to go to the Bible for the answers Because that is what has gotten me through That is what has given me new life That is what has made my heart My life My mind Change It has allowed the old to die And given me new hope New light And I hope it does the same for you I wasn't going to bring this up But I watched an interview With Woah Vicky Her real name is Victoria And Tasha Kay The interview was about Woah Vicky And how she became who she is I am not going to go into detail Because if you want to watch the interview Go right ahead In this interview You will see what I am trying to explain to you About how others may not perceive What God is doing in your life As a lifestyle A phase Or a facade You will see demons manifesting In the other person To defer Victoria From her love of God You are going to have that Throughout your life You are always going to have the devil Try to defer you to his way And it is how you stand your ground Against him How you ask God for the strength To get you through For never allowing someone to dim that light That Jesus put inside of you For never allowing someone to take that love That Jesus gave you When he died on that cross for you For that second chance That is what I am trying to explain Never let your light be dimmed And it reminds me of this song When I was little This little light of mine I'm gonna let it shine Let it shine Let it shine Let it shine I'm not a singer I'm sorry if your ears are hurting I'm not the best at singing But that song Never let your light not shine For Jesus And his love that he has for you Let it shine so others can see his light So others can be brought to him Even if they don't want to hear you Keep pushing Because ultimately they're going to see That they need God Because we all need God We all need his love To satisfy our lives Because that is the only satisfaction That is going to fill us Money, power, jobs Friends, women, men They will never fulfill you Only God can do that I hope you enjoyed today's episode I hope
