After the battle, Eddard Stark and Holland Reed were the only survivors. Eddard found his dying sister in the tower. After getting a promise from his brother, Lyanna died. Eddard had the tower demolished and built funeral mounds for his fallen companions. He took his sister's body back to the North to be buried in the crypts of Winterfell, alongside their brother Brandon and father Rickard. However, before leaving, he traveled to Starfall and returned his brother Arthur's sword to Shara Dayne. Luego del combate, Eddard Stark y Holland Reed fueron los únicos sobrevivientes.
