The speaker is discussing how they will answer the sidebar questions in the reading writing companion that relate to visualizing. They mention allowing students to work in pairs or groups to find the answers, particularly when it involves finding evidence in the text. The speaker also mentions the importance of reviewing the concept of text evidence with the students. For the next three slides, we are answering the sidebar questions that are in their reading writing companion that go along with visualizing. We talked about what it is as a class, now they're going to answer questions about it. Most of the time with these sidebar questions, I let them work with their partner or with a group to find the answer, especially when it says find the evidence. They know what text evidence is at this point. If they don't, we can go over it again and review. But they know to look through the story and if they say, oh, well, I visualize this because it says this in the text.
