In this lesson, students open their Wonders book to a specific page with an essential question and a bobble map. The essential question asks what traditions can teach us about culture. The teacher explains the question and its meaning to the students. They discuss it with a partner and then share their answers as a class. Students will then open up their Wonders book to the assigned page where there's an essential question and then a bobble map that goes along with it. We go over the essential question, which for this lesson is what can traditions teach you about culture? We go over what it means. What is it asking us? How can we answer it? They partner talk with the person next to them at their table and then they're ready to give an answer as a class.
