This week in fifth grade, they focused on converting units of measurement in math, theme and dialogue in reading and writing, and physical and chemical change in science and social studies. Next week, they will be working on multiplying whole digit numbers in math and theme and narrative in reading and writing. They also mentioned upcoming events such as picture day, tie-dye day, colorful beach shirt day, curriculum night, and wearing favorite college color t-shirts. They gave a shout out to a classmate named Mikaela and reminded everyone to bring a water bottle due to the hot weather. Welcome to the Talking to LaDonna Thoughts. I'm Gabby. And I'm Arian. We have finished another week in fifth grade. This week we focus on converting units of measurement in math. In reading and writing we worked on theme and dialogue. Science and social studies we worked on physical and chemical change. Next week in math we are working on multiplying whole digit numbers. In reading and writing we are working on theme and out a narrative. In next week at school here's what to be aware of. Monday is picture day. Bring out your best smile. Don't forget to say cheese. Tuesday bust out your tie-dye. Come to school wearing tie-dye. Wednesday wear a colorful beach shirt. Thursday is curriculum night. You can attend one session at five or six. The wonderful PTO will have a meeting at 445. We hope you all can attend. On Friday wear your favorite college color t-shirts. And don't forget it's early release day. And on Monday, September 4th there's no school. We want to give a shout out to our classmate this week, Mikaela, because she's always giving everybody shouts. She's always giving everybody compliments. We also want to shout out all the people who help Ms. T every single day. Please make sure to bring a water bottle because it has been very hot. This is Gabby. And this is Ariane. Signing out.
