How's it going guys, this is the first episode of Influence the Influence, my name is Brian Baker and here I have with me, my name's Paul, it's good to be here today with Mr. Baker and we've been thinking about setting up this podcast for a number of weeks now actually, both going to the same community college, local, and we want to address real problems, problems that are down to earth and very relatable, personable to you, just some inner connectivity problems between people, between society and you know, occasionally we'll brush on politics but we're not going to pick sides here, that's not what we do, we just talk about the sides, we're all friends here, we're all friends here, definitely, and for the most part we want to keep it kosher and keep it clean, if you guys have comments and you want to reach out to us, that'll be done in a later date, we'll give you some points of contact once we, you know, actually start our official podcast email, podcast PO box, if you guys want to reach out to us, we're going to make that available to you eventually, but right now, this is just the bare bones, bare minimums, we are literally shooting this first episode in my car, I'm not going to say what kind of car it is obviously, but we are having fun while doing it, so that's all that matters, that's plenty of leg room, I'm pretty happy, yeah, AC works, power converter, all that stuff, with internet on the go, that's a good life, so all right, coming up to the two minute mark, I'm going to bring up the first topic, this is something right here that's been urging me for quite a while, I'm not sure if you heard about it, it's basically a TikTok gym girls, you know, girls that shoot videos of themselves on TikTok in the gym, and recently have gained the courage to become activists, but anytime a man glances at them or anything like that, I'm like, uh, it's not, it shouldn't be as political as it is now, and at the same time, I'm not a gym bro myself, but if I do go and I see a pretty decent woman walking around, you know, she's wearing her, you know, sporting clothes and everything, I'm like, I'm probably gonna look, and there's nothing wrong with that, like, I'm a happily, you know, committed man, but at the same time, you know, we're hunters, and while we hunt, we pick out our prey occasionally as we go, what do you think about this? Uh, I don't know, man, if a girl's using TikTok, I'm gonna avoid her like the plague, those chicks are bad news, I'm just saying, uh, jokes aside, um, I think it is fascinating to see people who are gaining a voice for themselves, um, we live in, unfortunately, a society, a society, uh, okay, jokes aside, uh, we do live in a pretty messed up system, and, uh, unfortunately, all cards on the table, I don't believe that everyone has a fair start in America, and, uh, that's just the unfortunate truth, we all have different battles to fight, and, of course, that's not to say that one's, one person's problems is any more significant than another, um, but there are definitely some discrepancies in our system, some problems that, uh, some people like to try to focus on, while others just completely ignore it, and, uh, a lot of those problems that I'm referring to revolve around race, discrimination against gender, against religion, um, you know, like Muslims, uh, we, we just see it all the time, people bashing on, uh, those with different beliefs, different upbringings, and not having the empathy to understand where they come from, or why they have the views that they do. Yeah, it's cancel culture, gone rogue, that's all it is, it's like, it's like letting out a wild dog that's been trained to kill, and just letting him go free, and you, you know, and occasionally you're going to wonder why, you know, grandma got bit, and then, you know, why, uh, that child down the street got bit, because the cancel culture is much like that wild dog, because it has no discrepancy, if it has rabies, you gotta put it down, same thing like cancel culture, you gotta put it down eventually, and what these girls, what these young women are doing, they are really just stressing out gym goers for clout, that's really what's going on here, and they really think that their bodies are banging enough to the point that everybody's gonna glance at them and want a piece, no, no, not with your personality, sugar, I'm sorry, but if you are shooting a TikTok at the gym, and we're just trying to focus on our own bodies and get healthy, you shouldn't be worried about people trying to look at yours, I mean, you should be focused on yours, and actually getting it better, that's the whole point of the gym, self-improvement, and instead, you went to the gym to the grade yourself, and assumed that somebody was just looking at your ass, but that's just what happens now, and that's what we gotta deal with now, I try to find it hilarious, because everybody with those New Year's resolutions every year to wanna go to the gym, now that one fat guy's gonna go to the gym and think he's gonna make his life better, and then he's gonna get caught looking at the wrong girl, and he's gonna get canceled, and he's never gonna wanna go to the gym again, he's gonna gorge himself on Twinkies and hot dogs until he dies, and I'm sorry for that man who may or may not exist in this world, but the dating scene and TikTok girls and these social media girls are just ruining it, I'm sorry I kinda went on a tangent there, but I'll let you pick up from where you left off. Oh man, there were a lot of points that I wanted to touch down on, kinda through your, I guess, speech, for lack of better terms, no, but I appreciate it, man, um, so, first and foremost, yeah, there is kind of a problem with people, especially TikTok women, abusing their popularity and follower count to cancel people that they're not as fond of, and just kinda using their power for the wrong reasons, the wrong intentions, it's vanity, it is vanity, and I feel like a lot of people aren't really invested in the long-term goal, I think at the end of the day, everyone just wants to be happy, everyone has an entitlement to that, as long as they're willing to put in the work that they need, um, I think every goddamn person on this planet should be able to play in bed at night, safe in their mind, safe in their body and their soul. Let me hit you with this hypothetical real quick, before we hit our seven-minute mark, basically, do you think that people who find happiness in the harm of others, do you think it would be okay for them to continue to pursue their happiness? Of course not. Yeah, and that's what I'm saying in this situation, that's all I can really equate it to, is that she intended to harm another individual through the use of social media, because, like I said, I don't really keep up with TikTok trends, just because the app is a glorified spyware. Idiot, let's talk about that. Well, we can touch on that in a second, there's one part that I kind of want to tie up with that, so TikTok being spyware, uh, just trying to remember, recall what you, where were you before that? Before that, when we were talking about, let's see, we were talking about the TikTok girls and how they're, you know, very vain and how they would, uh, it rather hurts someone else. Oh yeah, hurting people, okay. To improve their likelihood of being famous and getting followers. Yeah, on the note of hurting people, um, that's kind of what I wanted to touch point on, uh, so yeah, I feel like people who derive pleasure from the misery of others kind of, um, set themselves aside from the rest of, uh, people and kind of make themselves a little bit more subhuman. Yeah. And, uh, it's just, it's really unfortunate, the kind of world that we're living in, because it seems like there's just such a massive insurgence of those kinds of people, say to, uh, just people who will take advantage of others without any kinds of morals, without any kinds of standards, and it's, uh, something that I see all the time, every day. Yeah. Those kinds of people do exist. Those people do exist. They find pleasure in material items. They find pleasure in self-indulgence instead of, you know, actually helping others. Those are, those are the kind of sociopathic people that somehow slide into society. They understand the negativity that they bring into the world, and they know that it's wrong, but they choose to do it anyway out of some type of addictivism, at least in my, per my view of the situation, but in this specific case, it's just a waste of time. It's, it's not going to get you in your cloud. It's not really benefiting anyone. It's not. I think it's just a lose-lose situation all around. Yeah, because, because on both sides of the aisle, first, you're going to have the feminists who are, like, standing up with that woman. They're going to be mad, and you look like, oh, you know, I'm on her side, and on the right side, you're going to have, like, these soy boys who are going to come out and be like, hey, uh, then my man was just trying to get a workout. You deserve to get the hell out of this gym, you know, especially since you want to call him out, and I just want to get back to the times when everybody leave each other the fuck alone, you know, and stop being in each other's business, trying to, you know, just mind your own damn business and stop your bitching. Exactly, bro. That's what I'm saying. Soy boys. Soy boys. Well, all right, now that we're at the 11 minute mark, did you want to go ahead and transition into the topic of AI? Oh, yes, transition. No, Chinese spyware. Chinese spyware. Yeah, let's talk about that real quick. Right now, we are on the timeline of Silicon Valley Bank, you know, sinking and falling beneath its expectations and not being able to help or, you know, ensure its depositors are going to be receiving their funds. What does that have to do with, you know, Silicon Valley Bank? Well, they're the company, they're the bank that would invest in that type of company like TikTok. They would put majority of their money behind that company in order to, you know, profit up and then, of course, China having a tool that powerful in every American's hand or most majority of American's hands. They're collecting data on us that we would not even be able to fathom. But as well, on top of that, they are making money off of it, like crazy amounts of money, like their housing market is collapsing right now. And our tech field, our tech companies are collapsing right now. And I don't, I can't like, I don't see how people can't connect these, can't connect the dots, really, at that point, because it's kind of straightforward. You know, most of our technology that we get nowadays is either made in China. And most of the services that are provided for that technology to be supported is also made in China. These tech companies that are laundering money to these companies, a lot of times are based out of China. So when, inevitably, when they don't make any money back, because that money's gone, it's in the Chinese system now, it is not going to come back to our pockets because they're not going to, they're not going to spend their money on their people or on their materials to improve manufacturing in China because they make it cheap. You know how much it really costs to make a pair of Jordans in China? About $12. Here, they sell it to retail for about $500 if you get a decent pair of Nike Air Jordans. So from that perspective, I want you to think about why do we enable ourselves to fall victim and trap to these softwares like TikTok? I'm raising that question to you, Paul. Yeah. Well, I think the biggest thing is TikTok is not marketed as a spyware. And it's not exactly something, I don't know, on one hand, I do want to kind of refer to it as common knowledge. A lot of people know exactly what China is trying to do with TikTok and how the Chinese version of the app is vastly different from the American version of the app. Chinese TikTok kind of brings out the, it brings out a side of their culture, trying to empower their citizens to take after what makes China so brilliant in their own way. And then here in America, we got just these stupid challenges that are obviously just death wishes. And they're encouraging people and enabling them to do really stupid things. It is a universal tool. Here's what this tool is used for. I'll tell you. It is used to first depopulize, decentralize, and destabilize. That's what it's for. You can clearly see it. First, they depopulize by making people believe that they're the opposite gender. So that way they mutilate themselves in order to not be able to give birth or have children. Then, you know, they decentralize by making you believe in socialism as well as, you know, giving all the power to the government that is obviously giving all the money to China. Then, as well, decentralizing. It's happening right before your eyes. Like, where's our money? Where's our money going? That's what's decentralizing. Our money is starting to mean nothing. Right before our eyes. But at the same time, like, there's still hope because the American people are very resilient. And I believe we will always overcome any, you know, any detriment set before us for the most part. We've overcome many hardships in the past. And of course, our country's still here. That has to be an attachment to something. We've stood through many difficult battles with racial inequality. We've had wars with other countries. We've been through some really low points with our country and some really high points. And I think that America overall aims to stand for something great. Something to help the people. Not just the people in its own country, but all over the world. All over the world. That's exactly what our goal should be. We shouldn't think ourselves as high and mighty and above others because we are literally just an EMP away from being back to where the rest of the world is. And what we should be doing instead of, you know, letting everybody hear, we should be, you know, not sharing, absolutely sharing our resources, but helping them connect their own dots to get to where we are. I think knowledge is power. The best terms that I could use. And I think that just informing people of the dangers out there, the risks that they take, even with everyday activities, the risk of using TikTok all the time, the risk of having a Twitter account, the risk that comes with social media in general, or using the internet. It can be detrimental to your mental health. And just to be a little bit more detrimental to people's mental health, I'm a little bit of a conspiracy theorist, so I'll let you know this. I want you to literally mark on your calendar every single time you get an update on your app, and then look exactly what's going on in the news in China, and then you'll see the pattern that I see. But other than that, I think we've reached our time. I think we're good. Yeah. And thank you very much for tuning in to the first episode of Influence the Influence. I am once again your host, Brian Baker, with my co-host as well, Paul LaRose. All right. And we look forward to seeing you the next time. All right. That's it for now. Ladies and gents, take it easy. All right. You guys have a good night. Bye-bye. Bye-bye.
