Hi, I'm Tiana and I'm going to be your host for I Told No One About This, my podcast. This first episode is just going to be you guys getting to know me and me introducing my podcast to you guys and talking about who I'm going to have on my podcast and what kind of stuff I'm going to be talking about. So as you now know, my name is Tiana and I live in Cambridge and I go to Hills Road and I'm currently studying Geography, Sociology and PE and I'm just finishing Year 12 as we speak and I decided to do a podcast for my EPQ project as I really enjoy watching podcasts and I just wanted to create something that other people could enjoy. Other interests I have other than watching and listening to other people's podcasts include watching sports where I really enjoy watching football and I enjoy watching gymnastics as I do do gymnastics where I go and train at my local club every week. I've been doing gymnastics for around five years whereas I started out in Year 7 and I decided to join because quite a few of my friends did and because they run the programme through our school. I then really enjoyed it and got moved on to the elite team at my school where I competed for my school with my friends for the next five years before stopping just before our GCSEs. After my GCSEs I did decide to take some time off from gymnastics because I just needed a break and I wanted to relax a bit but I did start this again in, I think it was November of 2022 where I had to do it for my PE A-Level course and I chose to do gymnastics. Other things I enjoy doing is spending time with my family and my friends. So I usually go to my nan and grandad's house every Sunday if I'm not working and I live with my mum and my dog and I love spending time with my dog as well. We go on long walks down to the river which I really enjoy as I find it really calming and relaxing and when spending time with my friends I really like to go shopping or just hang out and just chat, anything. I also work in a cafe so I work one weekend a week and I really enjoy it there. I really like making latte art. My latte art has definitely improved since I've been working out which I'm really happy about because when I first started that was all I wanted to be able to do. I was really happy when it started improving and I could start making really cool shapes. Anyway, that's me introduced and now I'm going to be introducing my podcast and things I'm going to be doing on it. So for my podcast I'm going to be having different guests on every episode and I think that's going to be about three to four episodes with guests and then this one with me. We're just going to be discussing about day-to-day life, any political drama or tea as well as embarrassing life stories and anything really that we think is going to be cheesy. So depending on who the person is that I have on my podcast will depend on which topics we're going to be talking about and how embarrassing it basically is going to be for us, which is quite cool. I am only doing about four to five episodes altogether including this one as it is only for my EPQ project not as a whole season and it is a lot of work and there's a lot of background work that I've had to do to prepare for this. So I really hope you've enjoyed listening to my introduction of myself and my podcast and I hope you can be listening to future episodes very soon with different guests discussing different topics and thank you for listening.
