Total Recall Fantasy Football discusses key injuries and possible replacements. They speculate on the increase in injuries this season and discuss the impact of turf fields. They also discuss the Cleveland Browns' running back situation, with opinions split between Ford and Hunt. They believe Hunt will eventually take over as the primary back. They also discuss the Los Angeles Chargers' running back situation, with Kelly filling in for the injured Eckler. They have doubts about Kelly's ability to perform at the same level. They discuss the upcoming game between the Chargers and the Vikings, highlighting the importance of both offenses. They also discuss the addition of Breda to the Vikings' roster and the potential threat to Madison's job. They conclude by discussing the value of running backs in the NFL and how the absence of Dalvin Cook has affected the Vikings' offense. Hello, this is Total Recall Fantasy Football, I'm Hugo, and I'm here with Mike and Juan. We're going to be talking about some key injuries this week and possible replacement. How are you doing, Mike? I'm doing good, Hugo. How are you doing, Ben? Doing all right. A lot of injuries this week. What do you think about the injuries this week, Juan? Hey, how are you guys doing? Mike? Hugo? Hey, it's going to be hard. It's going to be difficult. Way too many people getting hurt. We don't know why or what the deal is, but it's just weird how many, they increase the number of injuries that they're having so early on the season. Do you guys think it has something to do with the turf field versus the natural grass that they're playing on? I don't think so. I mean, yeah, it has to do something, but I mean, they've been playing in turf for a while, so it shouldn't, I think there has been more injuries at the beginning of the season this year. I agree. So, I'm not sure why, but definitely some key players are getting hurt, some are questionable. I mean, one of the big ones is Chubb. He's a top five running back, top 10, not the worst, but what do you think the replacements, who do you go with, Hunt? Do you go with Ford? What do you think, Juan? I think they're going to give Ford a lot of play. Ford's a young running back. Hunt, they didn't want to sign him last year, resign him. Their running back, he already knows the offense, but I think the NFL is a business. They're going to try to make Ford the lead running back before they make Hunt one of the lead running backs again, even though he's still, I think he's pretty good. Mike? I think that we're going to see Ford get a couple of touches, but then I think that they're going to actually pull in Hunt pretty quickly. I mean, to pay a guy one year with $4 million to bring back Kareem Hunt, at one point before Nick Chubb took the reins, he was a premier back for the Cleveland Browns, so I think this is an opportunity for him to come in and show the organization what they missed out on as far as having him as that number two back for the Cleveland Browns. I think we're going to see Jerome Ford start off, but I really believe that it's going to be Hunt's job to gain. I think Hunt's going to be the sergeant back here soon. He's going to steal the job. Yeah, he's going to steal the job. He's going to steal it. Yeah, definitely. I mean, I think last year when Chubb got hurt as well, Hunt was the main running back. So, I do believe that Hunt will be the primary running back, not Ford. In my point of view, Hunt is a better running back, but he got waived for some reason. I know that there were some reports that they were concerned about his speed, and obviously the speed for Hunt, he's not a pounder. He has some kind of speed, and that's what helps him in the running game. So, we'll see. Who do you think is better out of the backfield as far as receiving? Who's a better option when it comes to receiving? Definitely receiving, I think Hunt. Hunt has good hands. He's been passing back when Chubb is the primary. So, I think receiving-wise, Hunt has the upper hand. Who do you think won? Yeah, no, that's really important because if you guys notice on the league, most of the running backs have to be able to catch the ball now. Agreed. Henry didn't catch a single freaking ball in the previous year, so now they've been using him more as a catcher and receiver. So, I think Hunt has better hands, and like you said, Mike, it's just a matter of time before he becomes the primary, even though the organization is going to try to push back because, I mean, Ford is the future, Hunt is the past. Yeah, I agree. We're going to have to see what the Cleveland Browns are going to do. We can probably talk about this next week, but we're seeing Sean Watson really struggling right now. So, I'm not sure if they're going to have to go ahead and switch the offense a little bit because it is a run-heavy offense for the Cleveland Browns right now, and that might affect the way that Ford and Kareem Hunt get their points for fantasy, but we can talk about that next week. Yeah, and now that you guys touched the point about receiving, you know, receiving backs, Eckler. Eckler was out last week, and he's going to be out this week again. He has a lot of touches, both receiving and rushing. You know, the same thing, I don't think Kelly can provide the same offense that Eckler does. What do you guys think? What do you guys think is going to be the usage? Is he even going to be relevant? You know, I mean, the Chargers are on two. I think they're going to have to ramp up their offense to be able to – I mean, their offense, it's been really good. Their defense is what's been lacking. But how are they going to do it? Who's going to step up? I just think I'm not a big fan of the QB. I think he makes the wrong decisions at the wrong time. I think Chargers' offense is great. The receivers, the wide receivers, they're playing really well. Kelly is not the best running back, but it's not bad. I don't think he's a starter. They gave him the opportunity last year. He was not able to keep it. Probably the same thing this year. He's going to have the opportunity. And I don't think he will – he will shine here and there, but it's not going to – I don't think it's going to transcend to anything. Mike? Yeah, we're going to see just how much the Chargers are going to miss Eckler. It's like Eckler finds their offense. We're going to see Tina Allen step up, right? But when it comes down to Kelly, I don't think Kelly is going to be able to fill that void and add production while Eckler is out. I mean, Eckler, he's a jackknife. He can do it all. He can receive out of the backfield. He can rush for you. He's just a multipurpose back, and I feel like having to fill those shoes is going to be tough to do. I feel like it's early in the season, but you're right. The Chargers have got to figure it out, and they've got to figure it out quick. They're facing Minnesota this week. I don't feel like that's going to be a cakewalk. I don't feel like that's going to be an opportunity for Kelly to show that he can step up and relieve of Eckler's absence. But, yeah, I have to say that I don't think Kelly is going to get it done. I mean, when you said it's not going to be a cakewalk, are you expecting the Chargers to win? What do you think? We've got two 0-2 teams that were good teams last year. I feel like they're both in the same situation. Minnesota is going to need a win, right? Kirk Cousins and us, they're going to be playing the Chargers here, and I believe they're playing them at home in Minnesota. I don't – I'm calling the game now. I think Minnesota wins 5-3 tomorrow. So, basically, it's going to come down to whose offense is better, because both of their defenses kind of suck. Both of their defenses are terrible. So, I just think as long as freaking Herbert doesn't mess up and make the wrong decision, I think the Chargers will take it. I think Minnesota, if Jefferson is not catching the ball, I don't think Minnesota is going to anything. Do you think Addison is going to be relevant? I mean, Addison, he's been playing well. He has touchdowns in the last couple games. I mean, he has yards. Do you think he's going to be? No, I think, like Mike said, the difference is going to be that difference. The previous games, the previous games, the Chargers defense were not able to stop those big runs. They did critical mistakes at critical times. And those big runs, every time it was a three-yard long and three-yard something, here comes a big run back hill. They destroy the Chargers on those big, long runs. Put it in place this last freaking weekend. It was the same thing. Long throws, they can't stop. They need to figure something out for that. Definitely. I think it's going to be a good game for both offensive players. Herbert, it's going to be a good game for Keenan Allen, Mike Williams. I don't think Kelly is going to have a great game. He's going to have a decent game. But I think also Kirk Cousins, Jefferson, Addison, those players are going to have big games. What do you think about Breda? He just got signed by the Vikings. So are they worried about Madison? Are they going to split? What do you guys think? Mike? Well, we saw what happened last week with Madison. He had probably one of the worst games I've seen him play. They all have those games. So I do believe that them bringing him in is a sign of, I feel like it's a short leash to show that he can turn this thing around. Yeah, there were some crucial mistakes that Madison made last game. I really do believe that his job is not protected right now at this point. And, yeah, it's going to be a good game. It's going to be a good game tomorrow. No disrespect to Ryan Tannehill, but if he can throw for 246 on you and go 24, I want to see what Kirk Cousins can be able to do to the Chargers. But, yeah, I think that his job is in jeopardy right now. I think that you brought another running back to show Madison, hey, if you're going to step it up, we got somebody that can fill you and put you on. I think that's a good – it's good to bring in players to put pressure on some of the key players to try to make them step up. Does this show you guys right now, I know this has been the talk of the off season, as far as the value of the running back for organizations, do you feel like at this point in time they're missing Dalvin Cook? Yes, I think they are. I don't know. Like the running backs with the NFL right now, that business is horrible for the running backs. They don't want to pay Cook to let him go. And, I mean, he was playing great. I don't know. Between Cook being a threat and Jefferson, who do you cover? What do you do? Now Madison, yeah, is good, but it's not – he doesn't put the same amount of pressure to the defense like Cook did. And now Jefferson is on his own trying to make something happen because there's not help out there. By the way, guys, that's not Breda. It's Akers. Yeah. Yeah. So, just trying to clarify that. It's Akers coming into the Vikings, not Breda. We haven't had a couple beers, guys. Sorry. Other than that, Akers is better than Breda. And Akers, they let him go just because they didn't want to pay him either. Yeah. He had an okay season when he came back from injury with the Rams. So. I'm not going to complain about it. I got Williams on the starting line to replace Akers. Akers, who, yeah, I think it's a business decision. Akers is coming down to the end of his rookie contract. You're going to pay him. Back to the point, is it worth paying a running back, right? And we feel like we can be wrong here. But what I'm seeing in the NFL is that your offense needs to start with a strong run game. If you don't have a strong run game to get it going, to Juan's point, you're not going to be able just to force feed a receiver. I mean, the defense is going to adapt to that quickly. But those running backs that can come in, like a Nick Chubb, that can wear you down to open up the pass, I feel like they're going to get more respect to that. But then again, and, you know, teams have shown now that they need to have two running backs. Because if they're relying on one running back and he goes down, their team is going to suffer a lot. So, on the other side of that coin, I think most teams are focusing on having two pretty good running backs. And if somebody goes down, you know, then the other one can be in there for the meantime. But, I mean, all kinds of running backs are getting hurt, you know. I mean, Eckler, Barkley, Chubb, I mean, Williams. So, I think that they are looking for the best interest. And, yeah, they still have to get paid if they're good. I'm not saying that don't get paid. But they're a lot more careful because, I mean, if they just focus on one running back, you know, it's not going to happen. They get injured and there you go. There you go. Your run game is done and now, you know, they're going to be double teaming your wide receivers because your running game is crap. Not to be biased against, but I have to agree with that point that you need to have a stable full of – I feel like you have to have one good back and then probably two decent little backs behind them. I feel like the Eagles are doing well when they have Swift and then you've got Boston Scott that can come out of the back and gain well. So, you have three backs that can be productive. And, yes, I'm an Eagles fan and I'm being biased, but I feel like they've shown that they can continue to wear you down with three running backs and it works. Well, I mean, they need to have three running backs because gain well got hurt last week. Boston is hurt this week. I'm hurt this week. So, I mean, they're going to be probably rotating on who gets hurt each week. So, yeah, they need three runners. They might need a fourth one. But what do you think, Juan? Oh, yeah. Like you guys mentioned, it's really important to have multiple running backs are good. And that's probably why, like you mentioned, I don't know if that's the reason that the running backs are not getting paid, but the wide receivers get paid a lot. And they have multiple ones. I just think it's run a little bit biased right now that the NFL has run the running back because if the running back show a lot, it's not as big. The rookie contract is forever. By the time they come back, they get out of it, they're almost freaking getting ready to either too old or they have to be in the prime somehow without any injuries to get paid. But you need to have multiple ones. The perfect example was the Browns last year with Schaub and Hunt. You didn't know who was going to be doing it, but they're both freaking pushing, pushing, pushing, pushing, pushing. Now, that being said, it makes it really hard for fantasy football managers to be able to have their main running backs, you know, because if they have split carries, you know, who do you choose? And not just that, but who's the backs that get most of the carries become more valuable, you know? I mean, I know CMC still splits, but he gets most of the carries. Now, you know, even Derrick Henry in Tennessee, like you didn't see him get as many touches. Are you down on him? You know, how's it going to go? Fowler with Dallas, you know, I mean, there's all these running backs that are going to be getting a lot of usage. What do you guys think fantasy-wise? What do managers decide what to look for? What do you guys think? I feel like to give credit back to Eckler, because I feel like he doesn't get a lot of the credit that he deserves for what he's done at that position. A lot of people are looking at CMC, Christian McCaffrey as being the dual threat type of running back. I feel like as a manager, that's the type of running back you have to look for right now, one that can pound it between the trenches and one that can receive it off the backfield, because that's what a lot of the offenses are going to have to adapt to now. The old-school way of just running down the middle, it's like the defense has gotten bigger, stronger, faster. It isn't going to work anymore. You're going to have to have a dual threat that can receive off the backfield and that can take that to room you as well. When it comes to being a fantasy manager, I think you need to look at that. How is your back being used in that offense? Are they using them to catch out of the backfield, or are they just using them for a little short down the distance type of play? Steve? Yeah, I mean, like you mentioned before, you have to be able to catch the ball. I think me as a manager trying to figure out who to line up, it's like, hey, can he catch, can he run? I will, without any doubt, I will start somebody that can catch and run at the same time. At the same time, Hector is one of my players. Sometimes he's good at ball lines, but these days he's doing everything. So right now, who would you put at top in the running backs? Who's the number one running back? I mean, we're playing a keeper league, a dynasty, so who would you put up there? Would you put a rookie like B. John Robinson that has a lot of upside, and he has a lot of years ahead of him? Eckler, which is already 26, something like that, and he has, I don't know, two more years under his belt. CMC, which he had a lot of carries in Carolina. They overused him. Who do you guys think is the number one running back overall in fantasy? It's hard to say. It's just really hard because at any point, any of those guys that you mentioned can give you a lot of points. At any point, you can't explode with a 70-yard freaking run. Who's your number one? If you had the first-round pick right now, last you've seen the season, who are you picking? Are you picking a wide receiver? Are you picking a running back? Who are you picking? Number one pick. For keeper's league? Yes, sir. Number one receiver than running back? What player is number one right now? I mean, I think always, whether it's keeper or redraft, I don't think a tight end or quarterback is going to go number one. So, I mean, I would say wide receiver or running back. If I'm trying to win the league for this year, I'm going to pick one of the guys that I know is going to give me some points. If I'm looking for the future, I'll probably get McCaffrey or Eckler. If I'm looking for the future, you know why I can't rebuild my whole team for this season? I'll probably get Robinson as a running back maybe. So, for keeper league, you would go Robinson. For redraft, you would go McKaffrey or Eckler. How about you, Mike? I'm going with McKaffrey. Just the way that the 49ers use him, I know he's going to touch the ball. I know he's going to touch the ball in multiple different ways. So, I'm going with McKaffrey. To be honest with you, it's hard for me to pick a receiver because the receiver can only dictate so much, right? You have to rely on the quarterback to get the ball to him. I just feel like when it comes to controlling the points in fantasy, I feel like a running back like Christian McCaffrey is like a safe bet to make sure that you're going to have a steady climb for your fantasy points. So, if I was picking number one and I had to pick a running back, I would go – if it's a keeper league, I would go with Robinson. But if I had the choice between wide receiver and running back, I would definitely take Jefferson. Jefferson is the number one player right now. I mean, he's the number one player. He gets 300 targets. That's why he's the number one player because he gets 300 targets, and with those 300 targets, he gets a lot of yards. So, regardless – He did that against the Eagles. I'll put that out there now. I mean, do you want me to look? How many yards did he get? He got 190 yards against the Eagles. I mean, he comes back and he's going to get another 300 yards. A couple of prime examples. I mean, yeah. Take the players. I'm not saying they're not good, but if you touch the ball, you're expected to do a certain thing. If you got so many touches and you're not getting any production, then that's a really, really issue. If you get so many targets or receivers like Jefferson, the expectation is you should be getting at least 100 yards every freaking game. You know what I mean? Especially because we'll just talk about the running from Minnesota. The running from Minnesota is diminished. It's not diminished. It's not as good as it could be. So, they're going to look for Jefferson. They're going to be passing more. But for that same reason, what makes a player good in fantasy football? It makes them good how many targets he gets, how many yards he gets, because they go hand-in-hand. We're playing in a half PPR. So, every catch he gets, it's a half a point extra. You know, it adds up. You get, you know, last game against the Eagles since Mike brought it up, he got 11 receptions and 159 yards. Okay? So, that's pretty good. That is pretty damn good. That's over 20 points right there. Can you trust her cousin? That's right. If we start it tomorrow, if we start it over again tomorrow, if the season started again and we're going receiver, I might take Jamar Chase over Justin Jefferson just because we have throwing in the football. Kirk Cousins is probably one or two years left. So, who is Minnesota bringing in? They haven't targeted a TV in a while. Okay. And for the meantime, for the meantime, you know, you're saying, okay, Kirk Cousins is not good. And I agree. Kirk Cousins is not that great. He's not that great. He's not that good. So, he's not that, okay, same thing as Eckler. But, you know. No, I'm just saying his age, you know. I mean, I'm just throwing that out there. Yeah. Kirk Cousins is so secular. Three good years. But, so, Kirk Cousins. One year. So, somebody comes along. Who are they going to target? Their best wide receiver. Who's the best wide receiver? Jefferson. That's going to be the person that if he throws it out there, he wins the contest to catch it. I disagree with that. I think with the new quarterback coming in, he's going to come in and figure out who he has the best chemistry with, who he's able to, who he's more in sync with. Yes, Jefferson might be the best player on the field, but if they can't align, I mean, Jalen Hurst is finding more success right now with Avante Smith than he is AJ Brown. If Brown, if Adams, if even Keenan Allen, if they get the same number of targets that Jefferson gets, I bet you they get the same points or more. Because they're elite players. It's just they don't get the targets. Like you said, yeah, Jefferson right now is in the top because he gets the ball a lot. These other players, they're not getting the ball as much. Adams. For the record, I don't want to take away from Jefferson's talent. He's talented. He's good. But I do have to agree with Juan that he's getting so many. It's a super tough situation when he was getting targeted. For the number of targets that he gets, he has to get those points. He's a really talented receiver. Like you said, don't get me wrong. But, yeah, it's difficult. Like I said, for me, I think of like the receiver, the quarterback, like all these other things. I'm not going. And I'm just going to answer to your comment, Mike. You went with Jamar Chase. I think he's a great wide receiver. But I think just how Jefferson is bigger, the contested targets he wins. Chase can make a lot out of nothing. But the same thing, I mean, Burrow has been hurt. He is hurt right now. He's questionable for Monday. How many targets did he get last game? Chase got five targets in 39 yards. Okay? So how many targets did he get the week before? They played horrible. So I understand that Chase is up there, and I agree with you, but I don't think he's better than Jefferson. We have to look at the type of targets that they get to. A lot of these guys get trash targets when the quarterback is falling back, like, all right, here, take it. Jefferson don't get those. Jefferson is like, hey, go long. I got you, bro. That's why he's more valuable, because he gets those targets. So we're talking, and I don't want to spend too much time here, but we're talking about Jefferson and Chase. We were talking about the best player to take at number one, and that's why I said, I mean, if I had to take a running back, it would be Robinson, and I went. But if I have the choice of taking a wide receiver or a running back, I would take Jefferson, because I think she is the best player right now. Right now. At this point. I think you're also forgetting a guy that's been big for you, Hugo, in his career, the Cheetah, Tyreek Hill. Tyreek Hill is going to get you those points, because Tyreek Hill is going to score a large amount of points quickly. That's what he does. If we're talking about keeper, I'm taking Jefferson. I'm taking Jefferson because Hill is older. He's 29, I think. So how many years does he have left? How old is Jefferson? Earlier that we're not talking about, we're just talking about who's the best receiver. No. But I said Hill has got 49 points, Jefferson has 38 points on our lead. If we look at who else we were talking about, McCaffrey. McCaffrey has gotten 48, 50 points, Jefferson 38. So that's why I was saying it depends on what are you trying to do. Are you rebuilding your team to get that one pick to win today, or are you rebuilding that team to try to win ahead? And your answer was that if it was a keeper league, you would take Robinson. If it was a redraft, you would take CMC. My answer was to keeper, I would take Jefferson. Okay? But what's the best receiver? Right now, yes. And I still stand by my point. Jefferson is the best wide receiver right now. I don't know if he's going to be the best wide receiver next year. Right now, for keeper league, he is the best option. Yeah, that's why he got more points than Hill. How many years is Hill going to play? I don't know. He looks pretty healthy to me. Yeah? Well, I mean, I don't know if you missed it, but this last summer, this last offseason, he said that he might only play three more seasons. Okay? So, I mean, when somebody makes a statement like that, I'll take that into account. That they have retirement on their mind already? Exactly. But he's going to retire because one of those times I'm playing, not because he's not capable of playing. Regardless, for keeper league, if he retires, he retires. Because he ain't getting you no points anymore. If he's out of the game, he's not going to get you more points. He retired three times and still had him on my roster, and he came back every time. So, I still have him on my roster just in case he comes back. So, how many points is he getting you right now? Eight. Well, he's not giving me many, but it's more than I need. He's not giving you any. That's not for the locker room. It's for morale. So, yeah. Okay, that's good. So, we touched on a couple points. We touched on Burrow, that he's questionable. We already talked about Chubb, Eckler. How about in Detroit? Detroit, Montgomery is out, and then St. Brown is questionable. Also, Reynolds, I believe, he's questionable. So, that up and just a little banged up. You know, we were talking about that. There was a lot of mouths to feed, and now there's a lot of questions on it. Montgomery is out for the next game. We don't know what the extent of it is, but I think Gibbs is going to get most of the carries. What do you guys think? He's going to have a big game. I feel like this is going to be an opportunity to show he can be taught back in Detroit. I feel like Gibbs is going to have a big game against Atlanta. And, yeah, that's where I think this is an opportunity. And, unfortunately, you know, we don't wish injury on anybody. You know, like Montgomery, who's been great. I wouldn't say great, but who's been consistent across his career. But these are the moments that young running backs, you know, get the opportunity to show the flashes of this is my team. And I feel like we're going to see Gibbs take full advantage of Montgomery out of Detroit. And then with Montgomery Brown out, I feel like we're going to see Jerry Goff rely on him a lot, too. So, Juan, what do you think? Yeah, yeah, I think Gibbs, like Mike said, he said Montgomery got hurt, and we don't really wish anybody to get hurt. But I think Gibbs, that's what he's been waiting for. I think they said something on him, and that's why they let him go. They let go Williams, and they just basically got a brand-new running back. I don't think they expected Montgomery to be the starting running back to begin with. But I think this is Gibbs' opportunity to just step up, and he's going to be one of those once he gets older, just like Pollard. Once he got the opportunity, they kind of said, hey, I'm going to get rid of him. They got rid of Ezekiel. Which I think the Cowboys are regretting right now. Yeah, but because they didn't want to pay him either. Like, hey, Pollard is not making no money right now. And they're getting really good production. So, yeah. So, yeah, Gibbs, big chance. Montgomery's out. I think some of the wide receivers, you know, St. Brown, that's the only thing that I've always didn't like about him, that he's injury prone. He gets injured a lot. That's why he's not, he hasn't been, like, the top wide receiver. But he has a lot of talent. So, as long as he's on the field, he's going to get points. But I think Jones is going to help him. Melvin Jones. It wasn't that bad. Marvin Jones. Not Melvin. Marvin Jones. He wasn't bad when he left all places. He's back to Detroit. But I think he's going to see a little bit of opportunity right there to show his value again. Definitely. I like Marvin Jones, and we talked about this last week, and I said I like Marvin Jones better than Reynolds. But, you know, I do like Marvin Jones. And, yeah, if he steps up and takes a little bit of the pressure off St. Brown, you know, so he has less contact. What about Sam Laporte? That's what I was going to say. He's been playing well, too. I think it's going to be his opportunity to have a lot more touches on the ball. So, I think some of the players that didn't have as many opportunities before with some of these starters getting hurt, they're going to have that opportunity. And Laporte, you know, he had a good, you know, five catches last week. So, I think he's going to be involved. They're going to have plenty of opportunities. And they had a bunch of injuries, too. He was playing like the reserve above. So, you know, talking about running backs, so we just did Montgomery. How about Jones with Green Bay? Is he going to play? I know he's been limited. You know, what do you guys think? You know, put Dylan in there? I mean, I know you're happy about that, Mike. You have Dylan in your team. I mean, fantasy gods are looking out for me right now. Like I said, unfortunately, I hope, you know, I don't wish injuries on anybody. I think we're going to see Dylan get a bigger role in this next game. He showed he could do it while Jones was out. And I feel like we're going to see him just pick up where he left off. So, I'm looking forward to seeing Dylan pick it up. And I don't think we're going to see a lot of Jones next game. Yeah, I believe that. Well, I think even when Jones on the game, I think they've been using both of them a lot. They've been using them. And they're just going to come up with, like, who's the primary, who's the secondary. But I think they've been using both. That's one of the things that we were talking about earlier, having two really competent, really good running backs. And now Dylan and Jones, is that it? Definitely. I mean, definitely they're both good running backs. Jones is the obvious number one. But Dylan is a beast. I mean, you see that guy, he's huge. So, definitely, you know, if Jones is not playing, I would put in Dylan. How about the rookie quarterbacks that got hurt? Richardson and Bryce, they're both out for next game with a concussion. So, what do you guys think about that? I mean, I know they're going to get back to playing next week as soon as they get cleared. But what do you guys think? Both of those teams are struggling teams. So, I think it's really unfortunate that they're out with concussions. The positive thing is actually the NFL is actually doing something and being really big in regards to concussions so we don't have this many bad things. But, yeah, I think it's unfortunate for both of the teams. Hey, somebody has to step up. And isn't it Jonathan Taylor coming back for Indy? Jonathan Taylor should be back in week five. Oh, week five. Yeah, he's in the pub so he has to miss at least four games. So, Bryce Young, his injury is an ankle injury. And they said that even if he's not back next week, he will be back by week five. Just clearing that up. So, yeah, I mean, with Jonathan Taylor, I think it will take a lot of the stress over Richardson running. I mean, they asked the coach, are you going to still let him run? He's like, I'm going to let him do his game. If that's part of his game, I'm going to let him run. So, yeah, I mean, we're going to see. We're going to see. How about Pacheco for the Chiefs? He's a game-time decision. He has been the number-one running back right now. But the other running back, Pacheco? Pacheco. I was being sarcastic because Pacheco is some bad crap. Like, in Kansas City, they need to get a bunch of, like, brand-new running backs. At one point we talked here, wasn't it, Edward or whatever was going to be there with the guy. I think we still might see him step up. You got McKinnon over there. You have, yeah, you have Edward. Like you said, they have to step up because they haven't. And there were good prospects at one point. You know what I mean? Yeah. And they have to make that leap. And if they don't do it, I mean, there's Kelsey. There's always Kelsey. I don't think Kelsey is going to run the football program. It's just a matter of time. He's going to be like Devo, running back, wide receiver kind of type of. How about the Saints? The Saints, Jamal Williams, he's out. He's out for at least four games. I believe he went to the IR. So at least this game, the rookie is going to start for the Saints. And next week, Camara should be back. So he should be, obviously, the number one. But, you know, Miller should start for the Saints. He should be the number one running back right now for the Saints. Do you guys, it would be good to pick him up? What do you guys think? He's a placeholder. I wouldn't waste a roster spot on my team to pick him up. Yeah, we're just waiting for Camara to get back. Damn, that's a shot fired towards me because I have him in my roster. And I think, I mean, I pick. Who don't you have on your team, Hugo? I mean. And whoever doesn't have, somebody's going to give it to him for almost for free. We think. Well, I mean, I do what I do. I do my trades. You know, I consider my team to be the best one in the league. And I want to say right there, you do have the best players. They just, sometimes they don't perform as well. That's what we, whoever plays against you, that's what we're hoping for because you have the best players. And hopefully that everybody else learns about that and stops giving you free freaking picks and players and everything. But, yeah, anyways. Well, I mean, yeah. Public service announcement. I mean, I pray that Hugo will know better. That was my rant for right now, so, yeah. Okay, so I think we're done with injuries for right now. We talk about injuries a lot and we'll talk about some other things. But I did want to touch bases on a matchup, a good matchup in our league. And I think a good matchup, it's Blockbuster and Just My Luck. They're both projected pretty good. They both, you know, Just My Luck is 2-0. Blockbuster is 1-1. I'm sorry, Blockbuster, but, you know, I gave him that loss last week. You know, he just had a bad week. But he's been hit with a lot of injuries. What do you guys think about this matchup? Mike? Looking at the matchup. You think all those injuries are going to – he's going to be able to overcome all those injuries, Blockbuster? I mean, he still has Waddle on his lineup. So if you're listening, Jonathan, if you listen by tomorrow, make sure you put somebody else in. But I know you – I mean, Dobbins went to the IIR. You know, you've just been hit with a lot of injuries. I don't know, even, you know, Richie James that you picked up, probably you heard it here that I said that name, Richie James, that he was going to be the top water receiver for KC by Week 6. He got injured. You know, you're just getting all kinds of injuries. But is he going to overcome those, Mike? If you're asking my opinion, who's going to win this matchup, to me personally, I feel like just my luck. I feel like just my luck. Looking at the matchups for both of their quarterbacks, I feel like it favors just my luck a little bit more. Josh Allen started off slow. I know he got five points in his first game, came back with 21, going against the Washington football team to where I feel like it's just going to continue to progress there. For Lawrence, I mean, had a decent start with 14 points against Indy and six against KC. It might have an opportunity at Houston, but I just think that, you know, just my luck to go ahead and run away with this one. And then CMC put up 19 points for him already. I just, yeah, I just, looking at the matchups right now, and then the disappointing showing from Waller. I mean, Waller got three and a half points, right? How about Fields? I mean, we expected a lot from Fields, and he hasn't showed up. He's going to go out against KC. Do you think he's going to have a big game against KC? What do you guys think? I don't. No, what about you, Juan? No, I mean, both of them have really good players, but I think a lot of those players are opportunistic players. So the matchup? Yeah, so I just think it just depends, like sometimes they're going to give you five points, just like Waller, and sometimes they're going to be like, oh, God, they want me to game. Fields, that's the case. Fields might run the ball forever, might get a lot of points, or might not give you any. So, yeah, I think it's going to be a tough matchup. I think just my luck has to vanish a little bit. But, yeah, it's going to be who they're playing, who they're playing, and if they're being targeted, and I have some... I think the big games for this match is going to be Houston against Jacksonville, because Blockbuster has three players going on that game, so Lawrence, Etienne, and he has Ridley. So I think Houston's defense is banged up right now, so that's a big opportunity for him, and I think he has to play those players. I mean, Ridley has played well, so has Lawrence, Etienne. I really don't like him that much, but he's all right. But if they put a lot of points, I think he can come back and he can take that game. Hawkinson as well. Hawkinson is top tight end. He got him 20 points last week that he was playing against me, and he's going against the Chargers, which their defense is not that great. I think it's going to be a close one, but I'm hoping that Blockbuster gets the win, so Blockbuster. And Ridley's a perfect example. He's like, what do you have on the plate? First game, 18 points. Second game, four points. And that probably goes, that transfer to Lawrence. Lawrence first game, 15 points. Second game, six points. So like you said, those are key match-ups that depend on how they do it because it's going to affect the whole rest of the points, the game. How about match-ups overall, guys? I think Mike is going to get lucky because of my pace, I heard, so. I feel like you're making an excuse already. That was Rob on my last win, so yeah. It was actually two games ago. It was two games ago, and it was a stat correction, but I think you're already making an excuse because, you know. Yeah, well, I got Jones that gave me two points. So, I mean, that's your quarterback, you know. You should have put Wilson. Wilson should give you more points than that. And then you have Eckler out. You have Eckler and Barkley out. Man, two of your big running backs. Who do you have in for running backs? Connor and Edwards? Yeah, I mean, Edwards is going to start. I think he should have a good game. Connor's match-up is tough. It's against Dallas. It's a tough match defense. Connor is going to give him more than 12 points. You think so? Yeah. Well, I mean, I don't know. Dallas defense is pretty good. So, I mean, that match-up too. Houston against Jacksonville, Stroud. You asked Stroud, so let's see how he does. Yeah, division again. So, how about you, Mike? Who do you think has a good match-up this week? What player would you say that you think is going to have a good game just overall? My roster? Anybody. Your roster, somebody else's roster. Somebody that you think is going to have a good game. Give me somebody from your roster. I'm looking at mine. I think we're going to see a big game from Dylan this week. I think Dylan is going to put up some points. He's got them projected at nine. I see him going past nine points this game. So, I think A.J. Dylan is going to have a good game. Is it going to depend on Jones playing whether he has a good game or you think overall he's going to have a good game? It's going to depend on which Jones. Okay. How about you, Juan? Who do you think from your players, who do you think is going to have a big week? I hope Allen. I think Allen might have a good with the running back out. The use of Allen and Williams was pretty good. So, I think Allen is going to have a pretty good match-up. The Vikings give up a lot of points. So, I'm with him. I'm there. As for myself, I mean, I would say Jefferson because I have Jefferson, you know, and he's going against the Chargers, but I'm not going to. That would be just too easy. And I would say Hill, but it's too easy too. So, you have so much faith in Jefferson against the Chargers? I'm going to. You got faith in Jefferson? On the game? Yeah. I'll take your bet. I'll take your bet, $50. That Jefferson does what? No, no, no. The game. The game. I'm saying the Vikings will win. He's saying that the Chargers will win. But I'm going to go with Gibbs. I think Gibbs is going to have a good game. So, he has that opportunity with Manga Real. There's a couple players that have banged up. I think they're going to play, but he's just going to have a good game. They're going to run the ball a lot. So, we'll see. We'll see what the results are next week. And I'm looking for what those $50 are going to buy me. That's probably nothing. So, I think he's going to pay my entry fee for this league. So, real quick, guys. Chargers, Vikings, Mike? We'll go ahead and call it a pick on the Chargers, Vikings. Write the number. For the three answers. Okay. How many do we get right for the next one? I believe the Vikings are going to pull this off in Minnesota. Okay. Next one. You? Chargers. Of course, Chargers. Yeah? Okay. So, I'm obviously picking the Vikings. Cardinals, Cowboys, Mike? The Cowboys? We're just going to over-dump on the list and see how many we can get right. Cowboys, Cardinals? Yeah, we're going Cowboys. Cowboys. Even though it pains me to say it, but we're going Cowboys. Colts, Ravens? Ravens got salvaged by a whole bunch of injuries as well, but they still have Lamar Jackson, so I'm going Ravens. Ravens. I'm going with the Colts. Wow. Titans, Browns? I'm going Tennessee. Tennessee. How about you, Juan? I'm going with the Rams. I think the Rams. We're not talking about the Rams. You said Titans, Browns. Titans, Browns. Browns. Oh, sorry, Browns. Oh, yeah. I'm still going to say that. Sorry, I said the Rams. I meant Browns. Yeah, I'm going with Tennessee as well. Yeah. Tennessee. Okay. Broncos, Dolphins? That should be an easy one. Dolphins. Miami. How about you, Mike? Broncos. Broncos. This is going against them. I got faith in my quarterback, Russell Wilson, right? Patriots, the Jets. I think this is the Patriots' first win. It should be. I mean, if they don't win now, you know, I think they're going to have a rough season. What about you? You know, I'm going to go the New York Jets. I think Zach Wilson understands that his bags are sitting outside the door for him right now, and if he doesn't do something soon, he's going to be calling games over here with us. Bills, Manders, Mike? They're playing. They're playing at Washington. I'm going with the Bills. I think the Bills is a better team. Lions, Falcons? I think Detroit is playing at home. I think they're going to take it. I think Detroit will win over the Falcons. Yeah, over the Falcons. I mean, the quarterback play, sitting at 2-0, doesn't really look pretty good. I'm going to have to go Falcons. Saints, Packers? Not until I know, Mike. You going with the Saints? I think I'm going with Green Bay. Love is playing well. I think the Saints have some injuries, skin injuries, so I'm going with Green Bay too. You know, after Love got that text message from Aaron Rodgers, I'm going to go ahead and take Green Bay as well. He's running the hunt right now. Texans, Jags? I would take the Jags. I think the Jags are a better team. They're at home, definitely the Jags. Mike? Yeah, I definitely wanted to keep it interesting. If it were the Texans, I don't see it. I've got to go for Jacksonville. Panthers, Seahawks? I will go with the Seahawks. The Seahawks, I mean, Panthers, they have their quarterback out. I don't know. Yeah, they have their quarterback out. And, I mean, the Seahawks is a better team, I think. Yeah, Seahawks. Mike, who are you going with? Yeah, I've had my heart broken too many times by Andy Dalton. I'm going to go with that. Yeah, I'm going to go Seahawks, which, you know. Bears, Chiefs? That's easy, KC. That's easy. Fields is not playing well. Hugo's not even giving me an opportunity to put my pick down anything and put KC, and he's right, I'm going KC. Raiders, Steelers? I think the Raiders are going to bounce back. I'll go with Raiders. Mike? I like the pressure that Pittsburgh's defense is able to generate. I'm going to have to go Pitt. I'm going to go Pittsburgh as well. The defense is going to win that game. Yeah, I know. Eagles? You ain't got to ask me. Let's go ahead and fly bird. I think the Bucs are going to take it. Bucs? Two-two on all teams, but I think Baker has a lot to prove. The Eagles are going to win. The Eagles is just Brown and what's-his-name are fighting. And the second Monday night game, the Rams and Cincinnati with Joe Burrow being questionable, and then the questionable players for the Rams. I'm going to pick the Rams, but I think if Burrow plays and they're not playing, they can probably take it. Mike, who are you taking, the Rams or the Bengals? I'm taking the Bengals just because I think Joe Burrow is going to play. I know he's going to play. So you're standing by Jamar Chase and your best player right now? I'm standing by it. I'm going to go with the Rams. Even if Joe Burrow plays, Rams are winning. I think the Rams have played well. So, yep, we'll see the results next week. See who has the most teams right and we'll let you know who won. Yeah, hey, thank you so much. Hopefully, hey, like, subscribe, share, do all that. And, yeah, if you have any suggestions for podcasts, just let us know and we can bring it up. The more we do, the better we're going to get. So, hey, thank you. Yeah, like Juan said, thank you for listening. And any suggestions, let us know on the page or on the league chat, anything. Mike? No, hey, thank y'all for your time. We really appreciate this. Keep it away. Thank y'all for getting this started. And, yeah, any suggestions, we're open to it. And, yeah, let's see whose list is going to win here as far as the pick'em games. I'm willing to put some money down if my list wins. Okay. I mean, I'll do 20 on it. Put a 20 on top of my name. You know what? I think we should just put $10 each. And it's a pool. And we'll just take it. Whoever wins can take the $10. Here we go. I like it. Once a week. Once a week. $10. I like that. Yeah. Okay. I agree with that. We're going to take the $49. So, that's a win for me. Action. Action. All right. Thank you, guys. See you next week.
