Howdy Koobs, welcome back to another glorious episode of the Kokomo Narrative. I'm your host, Max Rogers. I'm here with Hayden Turner. What up? Tanner in spirit. He's gonna track me. And our special guest, president of RUK, does everything, is a cyborg and never sleeps, President Mary! Yay, big round of applause. We have a question today. First, I would just like to say ahead of time that Create 3 is the best movie to come out this year. And the question is, who is your favorite Mario character? Am I going first? Yeah, you're going first. Donkey Kong. You're wrong. Ben and Larry. You're wrong. He's the best. You're just simply wrong. He reminds me of Harambe. Next person! That's just gotta be, you know what? Never mind. Mary, who is your favorite character? Do you want me to answer that? Yes. Peaches. Why peaches? That's the only one I know. Peaches? Other than Mario and Luigi. So you know the trio. I know the three. Wait, I know another one. Bowser. Okay. She knows the originals. Donkey Kong. DK. You gotta love DK. I'm sticking with Peaches though. Thanks, what about you? My favorite character is without a doubt the best character to ever be written by Nintendo ever. It's Wario. Without a doubt. Wario? Wario is the best written character in fiction. Ever? Yes. Name any fiction character Wario is better than. It looks like he robs convenience stores. That's why I like him. He commits crimes. His entire existence is to antagonize Mario. You don't like Waluigi? No, I like Waluigi. Waluigi's cool. He's tall, lanky, and he says wah funny. Wah! I also like Wario because he drives around on a cool motorcycle and he gets the better princess. What princess does he get? He steals, what's her name, what's the other one that's not Peach? Daisy? He steals Daisy from Waluigi. I think that's a W. Well, first of all, let's do a quick little rundown of what we missed last week. And last week was sustainability week, which was a super fun week that we had. I love my herbs. We started off on Monday with the Wildcat Guardians speaker. That was interesting. I didn't get a chance to go out to him. We had a free lunch. Oh, yeah. And I think it was provided by Kim Osberg, so it was healthier lunch. Shout out to Kim! Shout out to Kim. And then on Tuesday, the herb giveaway. I have four herbs. Well, actually, two of them are Texas' and two of them are mine. And I have one that I did not know the name of because the signs were gone when I grabbed it. Oh, a mystery herb. A mystery herb. Okay. We also had factory farming with Kim Ferraro. I hope I'm pronouncing that right. Other Kim. Shout out to you, Kim. We love you. Yeah, we love that Kim. And then there was the Taco Tuesday the Women in Business had. Taco Tuesday! At Chipotle. Sadly, I did not attend. I did not attend either. I'm actually quite jealous. I do love tacos. Go-to-meat at Chipotle, Hayden. What is it? What? What's your go-to-meat at Chipotle? Go-to-meat? Chicken. Okay. Good option. What about you, Mary? Steak. Okay. Well, on this podcast, we're a chicken superiority type of podcast, so. Chicken, okay. You guys are here for the steak? Chicken is the greatest meat to ever be served. I agree with that statement. I agree with that statement. And then on Tuesday, we had a We're Here screening. That was by the Multicultural Center. They went crazy this week. I saw all the signs out. I wish I could have gotten more messages after the herb giveaway. You can't tell that I'm wearing it, but it's a live, live sustainably shirt. That's a cute t-shirt. Don't take a picture in the moment. Okay? Stay in the picture in the moment. That'll be on the cast. Okay. Oh, no. And then the event of the week, we had the tree planting and campus cleanup. That was so fun. God have saved the earth. That was so fun. Mary, how was that? You were there? It was, a lot of people showed up. We had two groups of people who planted trees, so I went with a group and we planted five trees on, like, the other side of the creek behind campus, which was really cool. I don't know what kind of trees they were. Apparently, I picked a type of tree. Yeah, Dr. T had me pick a type of tree, but I don't know if that's what we ended up planting. So, and then another group planted five more trees, and then we were all working on the courtyard in the middle of the main building, planting and putting in flowers and re-mulching and stuff. Flowers. Oh, yeah. The flowers here are always good. Yeah, there's a cool little, I don't know what type of, I don't know what a florist is. A florist. Do you think we pay somebody to be a florist here at IUK? Mary, you probably don't do this. Do we have a florist here? We do not have a florist, but we do have a lot of really great grounds members and staff members and facilities. They do well. Shout out to our grounds member at IUK. You are loved. Then we also, to end the week, had a human library on Thursday, which Avia explained in the last episode, if you missed out on. That sounded really cool. It did sound really cool. I stopped by for a little bit. Everybody there was super fun. And then we're going to pass it over to Snacks for what events are coming up. On Monday, April 17th at 11 a.m., we have the Smash event. Are we playing the video game? No. Oh, what are we doing? Oh, we're throwing plates, it seems. I think it's like a Smash room. It's a cathartic event where you can sort of release your aggressions through doing physical activity, and in this case, it is smashing plates. So, if you're angry and you need to let out your anger, come throw some plates, because I will definitely be there. If you want to see me throw a plate at full strength on a wall, I'll be there. On Tuesday, April 18th, we have the Criminal Justice Association meeting and officer elections. If you're running for that, I wish you the best of luck. Also on Tuesday at 4 p.m., we have the education-focused career fair. If you're an education major and you're going to be a teacher, one, good luck. It's very hard. Two, pop out to that. It's an alumni hall. IU Day is on Wednesday. Shout out to IU. So, shout out to IU. IU Day is going to be super fun. Make sure you come out. There will be free stuff on IU Day. Free stuff on IU Day. And, like every other Wednesday, we have our SGA bi-weekly meeting. What? What? Please, if I can get at least one person listening to this podcast to come out, I will be happy. Okay. Thank you. Bye.
