The morning devotion is about being discipled to disciple others. The main scripture reading is from Matthew 28:18-20, where Jesus instructs his disciples to go and make disciples of all nations. The speaker emphasizes that this commission is not just for the disciples at that time, but for all believers. They explain that while the task may seem overwhelming, we can start by discipling those in our immediate circle of influence. The speaker encourages listeners to invest in the lives of those around them and not to disappoint God. The episode ends with a prayer and a memory verse from Matthew 28:19. Listeners are invited to stay connected to Radio ACI for more spiritual content. Shalom wonderful people of God, God richly bless you for tuning in to Radio HCI today and for being a part of the Just Ended Prayer Startup, privileged to be facilitating today's morning glory devotion our Pastor and Mrs. Bruce Smith from Harvest Chapel International Kumasi. Let us kindly share a word of prayer. Heavenly Father even as we hear your word please help us keep it in our heart may it not depart from our mouth help us treasure it all the days of our lives and meditate in it day and night. Thank you Lord for an answered prayer in Jesus name Amen. Let us kindly take our confession from Joshua chapter 1 verse 8. Joshua chapter 1 verse 8. This book of the Lord shall not depart out of my mouth but I shall meditate in it day and night that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it for then I'll make my way prosperous and then I'll have success Amen. Our theme for today's morning glory devotion is Discipled to Disciple, Discipled to Disciple and our scripture reading will be taken from Matthew chapter 28 verse 18 to 20. Matthew 28 verse 18 to 20 and I'll be reading from the Neolibyan translation. Jesus came and told his disciples I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth therefore go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you and be sure of this I am with you always even to the end of the age. This is the reading of the word. Discipled to Disciple part one. Jesus before his ascension left his disciples with a critical assignment which remains very relevant in our days and would continue to remain so until his return. We find this assignment in Matthew chapter 28 verses 19 and 20. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you and lo I am with you always even to the end of the age. Amen. This instruction to make disciples of all the nations was not just for the present hearers during his delivery by our Lord but also for all who would become followers of Jesus in the process of time. No believer can excuse him or herself from this church. We have all been enrolled on this assignment and must put our hands to the floor to ensure that we get the work done. The scope of the commission may look very huge and unachievable. Make disciples of all the nations? Where do I start from? I don't even have a passport so how do I travel around the world to make disciples one may ask? Jesus further explains and gives us a strategy to how this great commission can be achieved. Acts chapter 1 verse 8. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth. In as much as we are to make disciples of all nations we are expected to start from our Jerusalem and then branch out. Your Jerusalem can be seen as your niche or immediate circle of influence. Nuclear family, extended family, colleagues at work, friends, neighbors and the like. This is the first place we can tax ourselves with the ministry of effective discipleship. When you look around you you would by the help of the Holy Spirit discern that there are a lot of souls waiting to be mentored and coached in the ways of the Lord. God is counting on you to invest in the lives of the people he has placed you amongst. Do not disappoint him. Amen. In our next episode we will discuss who a disciple is and what it takes to disciple others as is required of us. Hallelujah. It's time to take our memory verse and our memory verse for today shall be taken from Matthew chapter 28 verse 19. Matthew chapter 28 verse 19. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Let us kindly share a word of prayer. Dear Lord we thank you for your word that has come to us. We accept oh God this commission to go out there and make disciples of all nations. We pray that you grant us the grace to be effective in this assignment that through us many souls will be worn unto the kingdom of light. We thank you that it is so. In Jesus mighty name we pray with thanksgiving. Amen. Beloved God richly bless you for connecting with us for our morning glory devotion today.
