This is a Morning Glory Devotion session led by Pastor and Mrs. Degrafteria. The theme is the Providence of God, emphasizing that God has a purpose for everything happening in our lives. The scripture reading is from Romans 8:28, which states that all things work together for good for those who love God. Examples from the Bible, such as Joseph and Moses, demonstrate how God's providence was at work in their lives. The session concludes with a prayer and a reminder to trust in God's control and guidance. The memory verse is also Romans 8:28. Music Music Shalom and praise the Lord, dear family. God bless you for joining in the Just Ended Prayer Startup Session. And a warm welcome to our Morning Glory Devotion. This is Pastor and Mrs. Degrafteria, and it is a privilege to be facilitating today's Morning Glory Devotion. Please let us share a word of prayer. Heavenly Father, we thank you for the opportunity to come before you once again. We pray that you grant us insight as we look into your word. In Jesus' name we are prayed. Amen. Please let us take our confession from Joshua 1 verse 8. Joshua 1 verse 8 This book of the law shall not depart out of my mouth, but I shall meditate in it day and night, that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then I will make my way prosperous, and then I will have good success. Amen. Amen. The theme for this morning's devotion is the Providence of God. The Providence of God. And our scripture reading will be from Romans chapter 8 verse 28. Please I'll be reading from the New King James Version. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Loveth the word of the Lord. Thanks be to God. The Providence of God. Have you ever been lost in the thoughts of whether God really cares for you? Or whether His purposes for your life are playing out just the way they should? Especially during some very trying and uncertain times in our lives? During those moments, it can be very difficult to recognize God's hand at work in our lives. The Providence of God simply implies God's ability to make every provision available unto us to help us attain His very purposes for our lives by any means possible. Therefore, God in His own wisdom has supplied for us who believe in Him, who love Him, who trust Him, and are committed to Him, everything we need to work according to His purpose. This also makes us understand that God in His Providence has foreknowledge and absolute control over everything that happens here on earth, and most importantly, in our lives, and guides it according to His perfect purpose for us. So no experience in a believer's life is an abstract to God's plan. A clear example for the Providence of God at work in the Bible can be seen in the life of Joseph. All that his brothers put him through rather facilitated his elevation to becoming the Prime Minister of Egypt. Here, we indeed see that God was behind the scenes working things out to this end. Another classic example can be seen in the life of Moses. When his mother placed him in a basket and left him along the banks of the Nile River, when she noticed he was a special child. God caused Pharaoh's daughter to discover the baby and care for him. God later used this well-educated and discerning Moses to change the destiny of His chosen people. Beloved, God has a reason for everything happening in your life right now, and those that are even yet to happen. Therefore, let us be encouraged to trust steadfastly in the Providence of God, knowing that He is in absolute control of our lives, and is carefully orchestrating and guiding our paths into His divine purposes for our lives. Amen. Our memory verse for today will be taken from Romans 8, verse 28, to be read from the New King James Version. And we know that all things work together for good, to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. And we know that all things work together for good, to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Amen. Shall we please share a word of prayer? Heavenly Father, we thank You so much for Your Word this morning. We ask for grace and an assurance in our hearts to know that indeed You are in absolute control of our lives, and that all things are working together for our good. In Jesus' mighty name have we prayed with so much thanksgiving. Amen. God bless you so much for joining today's Morning Glory Devotion.
