In the first episode of her podcast, Hannah recaps the latest episode of the show Shantae. Lucy DeLuca was eliminated, leaving the top four finalists: Anitra, Lux, Mistress, and Sasha. The challenge for the week was to write a verse for a remix song and learn choreography. Sasha struggled with feeling less liked due to her strong performances. The queens walked the runway in the drag excellence category. Sasha won the challenge and Lux was declared safe. Mistress and Anitra lip-synced and both were sent to the grand finale in a double shantay. Hannah is excited about the twist and promises to provide more updates in the next episode. Conjugulations and welcome to the first ever episode of Shantae you say I am your host Hannah and this is the first episode of my first ever podcast so welcome I decided to make this podcast because like many others out there it is almost impossible to keep up with the shows every single week I am always finding myself texting people what happened who stayed who went home what was the challenge so hopefully with this episode you won't have to bombard your friends with questions and we can just talk about it together so jumping right into the episode this last week's episode aired on March 31st and was called blame it on the edit as we know from the previous episode unfortunately our miss Lucy DeLuca went home leaving the top four fighting for a spot in the grand finale Anitra Lux mistress and Sasha while it was an unfortunate departure from miss DeLuca the four finalists seem to think that they deserve this spot in the final four which who can blame them right I mean at this point it's all down to the nitty-gritty details and just trying to find a winner so moving on to the challenge for this week RuPaul wanted the girls to each write a verse to her remix song blame it on the edits in addition to the verses they learned choreography and filmed the video as well as meet up with Ru and Michelle for a tic-tac-toe chat RuPaul made it crystal clear that only three of them would be advancing to the grand finale making a shift back to a final three from the recent string of final fours and final five last season during their writing sessions the two queens mistress and Lux were ready to put their sassiness on display however Sasha and Anitra were much more reserved this week Sasha was having a really difficult time because she thought that her strong performances made her feel like she might be less liked by everyone she described seeking her mother's love for most of her childhood and how she's always wanted that validation from her Anitra's story had similarities because of her life experiences she said that Anitra the drag queen is an answer to that because she's able to inhabit confidence and power through her creative expression moving on to the choreography this week as we have seen in the past mistress had a bit of trouble picking up the steps which made the other Queens kind of nervous Anitra was also starting to worry about picking up the steps because she felt worried next to a strong Queen like Lux well the Queens were getting ready for their final challenge as the final four they talked about their first impressions of each other which were kind of shocking no I'm just kidding we pretty much knew what they were going to say already before they even started talking about it but that leads us to our final challenge moment on the runway the Queens walked in the drag excellence category and they were so beautiful I feel like I cannot describe it with enough grace and poise so you guys definitely definitely need to look it up as soon as you can the judges took a look back at each Queens full journey through the season before deciding who would advance to the grand finale Sasha was declared the week's winner which makes it her fourth win of the season and Lux was declared safe which made me kind of nervous because mistress was in my top four at the beginning of the season and as I was sweating profusely it was decided that mistress and Anitra would lip-sync against each other this week the bottom two Queens lip-sync to when love takes over and both Queens were a little restricted in movement because of their evening gowns but the ballad was big enough to inspire them to bring as much energy as they could they both did so amazing and I had no idea what RuPaul was gonna say because I just wanted all four of them in the grand finale but I knew that couldn't happen until RuPaul handed out a double shantay sending both of them to the grand finale for another top four and there you have it that was blame it on the edit season 15 top four it was a wild ride and RuPaul did something that I did not think you did this season because there were so many Queens to begin with but I am so excited about that double shantay you guys I literally cannot handle it and as you know what the finale was filmed April 1st so we won't be getting another episode for a couple of weeks but right as we do I will film another episode and I will give you guys all of hot tea so that is all for this first week of my podcast I hope you guys enjoyed I am hoping to have a co-host on the next episode so stay tuned
