Hi, and welcome to another episode of the one where teachers manage the classroom. I'm Jenny Bell Christensen, and today we have an exciting topic to discuss, GoGuardian, the classroom management tool that's changing the game for educators. I'll take you through its key features and how it's making positive impacts in the classroom. But before we dive into our fun topic, I want to highlight a great podcast I just listened to, the unspokeable podcast titled Ghost. It was a fun, interesting way to learn about ghosts, and you know, I love those spine-thrilling type podcasts. Anyway, we're going to pivot to our topic today, and that is that GoGuardian is an all-in-one classroom management solution that allows educators to manage their digital classrooms effectively. It helps keep students on track, provides a safer online environment, and enables teachers to engage their students more effectively. One of the features of GoGuardian is that the screen view, it allows teachers to see what students are doing on their screens. Teachers kind of get to be like Rachel and Monica and the rest of the friends, looking out the big window in Monica and Rachel's apartment. Teachers can see everything their students are doing, like peeking into each other, into students' computers. This is helping educators keep students on task and prevent distraction. It's pretty much a they-don't-know-that-we-know, they-know-we-know kind of situation with your students that can be really fun for teachers sometimes. With the internet being a vast and sometimes unpredictable place, GoGuardian offers an internet filtering system that ensures that students can access only appropriate and relevant online resources, creating a safer digital learning environment, as well as lessening distractions like funny games or, in the forensic case, George Stephanopoulos, you know? You can lock students' screens to redirect their focus or share your screen to demonstrate a lesson. It also allows for quick chat and messaging, which can be incredibly handy for immediate support or to send important announcements. You know, at this time, you get to channel your inner Monica with the students and be like, and now I need you to be careful and efficient, and remember, if I am harsh with you, it's only because you're doing it wrong. We all love to do that, so. Also, GoGuardian is not just a powerful tool for educators, it's also a game changer for students, providing them with a safer and more engaging digital learning experience. This is the perfect balance between access and protection. I know we've only scratched the surface of what GoGuardian offers. The platform continues to adapt to the constant changing of educational technology, making it a valuable tool for teachers and students. I'm so sorry to say that this is all the time that we have for today's episode of the one where teachers manage the classroom. I hope you've gained a better understanding of GoGuardian and its impact on classroom management. And if you have any questions or would like to learn more, don't hesitate to contact my team, and thank you for tuning in, and we'll catch you on the next episode. And remember, don't say, oh, I wish I could, but I don't want to, like Phoebe. When it comes to classroom management, I'm here to push you and get you through it, just like Monica.
